“I will turn 75 years old on Monday, Dec. 21, 2020. All I want for my birthday is some of the delicious pub grub from The Cask Cafe, and a growler or two of selections from the world’s (and Richmond’s) greatest brews. Unfortunately, this will be via touch-free curbside pickup. I’d much rather sit at the bar and chat about the role of diacetyl in English pub bitters, or the varieties of Bohemian or Moravian hops available in commercial Czech lagers...but not this year. “This place is amazing. It was our first time there and they made the experience wonderful. The drinks and the food were fantastic. The restrooms were very clean. Staff was friendly and professional. We are going back in a few weeks and I can't wait. I recommend getting a ride to and from, most of the drink are strong and there is no need to be behind the wheel. We did this and it made the experience better.“

“Me and my best friend went here for a new atmosphere for drinks since many other places aren’t what they used to be! The bartenders were SO WONDERFUL and free spirited! Helped us figure out what we wanted and were pretty engaging. And the drinks were so amazing and got us feeling comfortable in no time! Customers were nice too. “Been a regular of Bryant’s for about a year. Every experience I have had has been chill and I felt very comfortable with the bartenders and vibe very quickly. They specialize in brut dry cider with a great selection of different flavors. They have options for people who prefer a sweeter cider. There is ways to spruce it up. Yummy cider daiquiris in the summer. I loved Bryant’s so much since my move to Richmond I just recently was hired on as a bartender. This place made me wanna stay. Definitely recommend to anyone who loves cider and a good atmosphere with a cool aesthetic 🖤“

“We had a small wedding reception at OCB and while I would recommend it as a venue, I’d also recommend writing down exact details of what you want the event to go like. I don’t know if we ended up with inexperienced staff or just an odd night, but nothing really went like it should have. We were told two bartenders but there was only one, they didn’t seem to know when to bring out the food even though we said it was an open buffet, we asked them to serve slices of a cake from the back and instead they just placed it on a tray in the front and our guests had to slice and serve themselves. Every time we met with Bill he reassured us they’d done so many events and wedding there that they had it down pat, but it definitely didn’t seem like they did. On the whole, I’m still glad we had our reception there. The venue is awesome and the food is amazing! I’ve always heard great things about people using them as catering at other venues.“

Only real problem is probably the location and you could easily argue that’s one of the benefits to the joint ! great staff , great owner and overall its a great place to meet people !“

“Food was average at best. Out of everything including a cook. Actually closed the kitchen for about 30 minutes because cook was at end of shift and no one there to replace him. They are listed as a Priority Pass discounted restaurant and when asked, they looked at me like I was crazy. No clue.“

“It's a dive bar where most people know each other's names. That's what makes it a staple in the community over there. One pool table so if you want some competition, go at night. Not really known for their food, it's a dive bar 🤷🏾. Nice people but if you're sensitive, just don't go lol“

She was highly attentive and she really made our experience wonderful and memorable. We met the manager, Tamara and she couldn’t have been better. “My husband asked the bartender/head mixologist, Steve Yang, for a gin based dealer's choice and he made the most wonderful drink I've had in a long time. He called it "Some kind of wonderful" it had dill, yogurt, and some other stuff and tasted like some hard to find European candy. Awesome!“

“We made reservations since we heard they were doing a Christmas Pop-Up theme. Went on a Sunday Evening and they had a good amount of people there watching football. Lots of screens and a large bar in the middle. They actually had 2 bars, just the second wasn't open. You can also get a beer card and serve yourself from a quite of number of taps they have on site paying by the ounce. The staff was top notch! From checking us in, which might have been a manager or owner whomever he was super. Our waiter was really great as well, matter of fact a couple, when we moved to the bowling another waiter made sure we were all set as well. Once a lane opened up the manager came over and got us all set. It's not a true duck pin lane, pins are on strings, but it was a lot of fun! They even have order a pizza and get 2 games free. Place is pretty big. Lots of seating, especially for large groups and near the second bar they had it all set up for a private event being catered. Large patio. Lots of fun, food was good, great place to check out a game and have a drink.“
