“In case you, like me, heard about the bread pudding, yes, it's incredible. Come here and try it. You won't regret it.Anyway, for the real review, I came here for dinner with my friends. It was an incredible meal. I got the beef wellington and, of course, bread pudding for dessert. The beef wellington was a perfect medium rare, as it should be, and was the first time I've eaten a filet mignon in my life and didn't hate it. That's a huge plus! The asparagus that came with it was incredible, too. I know this shouldn't have to be a compliment, but you could taste how fresh both the asparagus and time since it touched the pan (or grill? idk) was.Unfortunately, the mashed potatoes left a lot to be desired. I had my friend taste some, too, just in case, and she confirmed my suspicions: almost tasteless. I had no idea something that interacted with chives could have so little flavor. Thankfully there's table salt available, but I was very disappointed. Mashed potatoes is usually the perfect complement to steak—the Robin to Batman, but in this case I got a filler episode where Robin was on vacation because the actor was busy. One of my friends got the stuffed gouda burger (or something like that), and he enjoyed it, save for a slight lacking of sauce; he said the burger overall was a bit dry, but he made sure to specify that the burger patty was definitely juicy and delicious. His wife ordered the fish & chips (which was my second choice, as it's listed as their signature dish), and she let me try a piece. The fish was incredible, and the tartar sauce, a sauce I normally do not like at all, was perfect for it.In case everybody else hasn't gushed enough about the bread pudding, OMG IT WAS SO GOOD. My only complaint would be that I failed to portion the scoop of ice cream correctly and ran out. That's entirely on me.I gave three stars for atmosphere, and that's mostly preference. I don't like loud areas with a lot of people. Unfortunately, places that serve good food tend to be popular and attract lots of people, especially on a Friday night. This is also entirely on me.What's not on me, though, was the horrible smell of smoke that came up randomly during our dinner. My friends and I suspect somebody got a drink that's served on fire, but we couldn't tell. I saw a little bit of smoke in the air, and it smelled like a bonfire for ten minutes. I did not enjoy that. I don't know if they can accommodate this, but I'll have to remember to ask if there's seating away from the bar area.I 100% intend on returning here some time in the future, and I will update this review with my full thoughts on the fish & chips when I try them at that time.Parking: There is parking available right outside the restaurant, but good luck getting it. Just park a few hundred feet away in the huge mall parking (Macy's, Paragon, etc.) lot and enjoy the outside air for a few extra minutes on your way in.“

“The service was really friendly and quick. The place is fun and kid friendly vibe like your typical Mexican restaurant. The food is where it fell short for us compared to other local spots. The salsa tasted like jar salsa and the queso also was basic. I give the birria tacos a 3/5! They were good but I’ve had better. The enchiladas were extremely bland and flavorless. The rice however was delicious!! The margaritas were also pretty decent. Their house hot sauce was bomb!!! Overall it was a good spot but there’s so many other great Mexican places in the area that I think raises the bar even higher.“

“I go here all the time and always love going. it is such a lively place, and the waiters are always very nice. the food is always amazing and ones they did mess up my order, but it was a bigger and better burger and even though it was more expensive they still charged the price of the first burger.“

“What an amazing experience it was to discover this place. We had a fabulous brunch, and I must say I am not usually a brunch fan. My tofu scramble burrito was genius and my wife's smoked salmon was delicious and accompanied by the expected (capers) and unexpected (Pico d gallo). Cute, cozy, and unassuming interior and attentive, if busy, staff. We will be back!“

“It's OK. What you'd expect from a modern chain-like popular eatery...busy on a Saturday at lunch-time with the usual wait for an indoor booth, no wait for patio, bar or the shared 'community table' high tops.Menu has full range of apps, salads, sandwiches, tacos, steaks and modern taproom food with a specials menu.Buffalo cauliflower app was so salty it was inedible. Nachos were great and we really appreciated allowing us to substitute the pulled pork for grilled chicken. Kids chicken fingers plate had hot, tasty shoe-string fries, but chicken fingers themselves, small and dried-out. Friend liked her fried chicken sandwich and husband liked his sliders. My side-dishes (asparagus, mashed potatoes and sweet potato fries) were good, but mains came to us cold to lukewarm like they had sat too long before delivered to the table.Service was friendly from hostess stand to server, but drinks came slow and visits were spotty. We'd try again if in the immediate vicinity and husband really wanted beer variety, but we'd want to check out other options too.Vegetarian options: Salads and sidesKid-friendliness: They provide coloring sheet, crayons, kid menu.“

“A quaint spot in downtown Fredericksburg. The menu offers a good range of options. We had the bourbon wings and the pretzel, both tasty options. The cheese sauce for the pretzel was very good. The smoked char taste of the wings, was also very good. The cocktail menu also offers many options. The Congress Hall was a great bourbon cocktail. “Went to a local dive bar.I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go to McDonald’s and go home… I do Uber and this place is in the middle of where the Uber trips come from in Fredericksburg.I had dropped somebody off near the area and saw all the cute places, so I circled it about 10 times praying to god on whether I needed a burger or I needed $10 and no burger…I got the best burger I’ve had in years.Absolute banger burger.Swiss cheese, sautéed portobello, grilled red onion, several hefty slices of crispy bacon, beef was excellent quality, exactly as much carbon from the grill as I would want on a grilled burger, on evenly toasted brioche. They made it extra special for me and did fried pickles as the side instead of fries. The flavors, and everything was hot and perfectly crispy. I will be returning there very soon.Whenever an Uber passenger from the VRE asks me “what’s good around here” I will have the answer.“

“Dive bar in a strip mall with pool tables and gambling machines and good happy hour specials. We had drinks, 3 appetizers and played some pool. We were there bt 6ish & 8.. Service was good . It has the atmosphere of a locals bar but also welcoming ,, maybe cop/military/western themed with pool and gambling? The Theme is not solidified! There are several lists of rules on the door, suggesting they probably need several lists of rules on the door! ? it was fine.“

“My friend and I came here this afternoon (10/11/23) and decided to order the pizza. She loved her cheese pizza while my pepperoni was absolutely the best. The slices are EXTREMELY HUGE with TONS of pepperoni. It made my mouth water. I was like "OMG, best pizza ever". I ordered two slices but I would've been full with just one slice. The rooftop is really cool overlooking Fredericksburg. Our server was very helpful and professional. I would give this restaurant a 10 if I could. Tomorrow will be 2 hours in the gym instead of 1.“
