“Food is great and wait staff is awesome. Not large party friendly. Had a party of 10 and was told we could only be seen if we were all on one check. We were coming from church and the party consisted of 5 couples. We had been there before with no issues getting separate checks. Was told it was a weekend policy implemented 3 months ago. We have been there within the last month and was not told this. No bad experiences prior. Assuming the manager just did not want to accommodate us.“

“A last minute early dinner invitation and we decided on Harry's Ale House at Harrison Crossing. We arrived at 5 pm. About 75%of the tables were full. Not bad for a Saturday. Michele was our waitstaff and she was very polite, attentive, and patient. My dinner companion and I were so busy talking, we didn't look at the menu and she was kind enough to keep checking on us. Thank you Michele for your patience. I ordered the steak salad and my companion ordered the salmon. The meals came out in a timely fashion as we had enough time for a cocktail but didn't wait beyond that. My companion's salmon dinner was quite good. I ordered my steak medium. It came out med-rare which is actually how I like it. My only comment is the steak was tough to chew although it was cooked nicely. I suggest slicing the steak into thinner slices and that will remove the toughness.We had a pleasant evening. The atmosphere was lively but not so loud I couldn't comfortably carry on a conversation. I have eaten at Harry's several times but usually carry out on my way home (also a good option).“

“I have been going to this restaurant for two years now and have yet to have a bad meal. The food always comes quickly. It’s always good home-cooked food. The roast beef open face sandwich was so tender it was incredible. So if you’re looking for a good home-cooked meal, breakfast lunch and some dinner items, this is the place to go. And fantastic coffee along with a smiling staff. Super super customer service oriented.“

“First time eating at this Firebirds restaurant and it was as good as our local Firebirds. My wife had a Colorado chicken salad, which she enjoyed. I had the Durango burger. I don't eat hamburgers often, so when I do I want a really good burger and the Durango is a really good burger. The Firebirds restaurants seem to be consistent with the quality of their food.“

“The smoke from the bar is awful and irritates my asthma. There are 4 different chilis, each with a unique flavor profile. I really like the Texas chili, which is what's pictured. My husband gets hot dogs with Cincinnati chili and loves it. Service is pretty good, a bit slow considering how few customers are seated.“

“Battlefield Restaurant has really good food and great service. The chipped beef and gravy was definitely the highlight for me — rich, creamy, and full of flavor. “Visited here yesterday at 5:00'ish. This restaurant is very busy & the food is fantastic. This was my party's first visit here.

Mixed experience. The waitstaff here deserves 5 stars, but the host/hostess stand deserves 0 (sorry, not even a 1 that a smile alone would have warranted). Unfortunately a 0 & a 5 equals a 2.5 ⭐ rating for service. Since I was unable to give a 2.5 I rounded up to a 3 in favor of the server.

The Bad: Hostesses/check-in staff were not friendly at all, not smiling or exchanging even slight pleasantries upon your arrival. Not sure if they got overwhelmed due to a full restaurant with people waiting in the front & outside to be seated (though I think that would be expected on Memorial Day weekend), but the general feeling was rushed, overwhelmed & inconvenienced by your arrival. They seemed to treat everyone this way whether they were people dining in, taking out, or delivery drivers. There seemed to be a lack of communication between people working there & the waitstaff and kitchen. The entire front-of-restaurant vibe was unprofessional, uncomfortable & tense, and I feel management needs to address this as it sets the tone for the night, or at least the early part of it.

The Good: The 3 stars for service is all due to the servers here, who are very friendly & deserve 5 stars!

Our waitress was absolutely phenomenal. She was attentive, friendly, and saved the evening. The food was delicious and well-prepared. It even smelled wonderful while we waited in the front and smelled orders leaving the restaurant. Timing was about what you would expect for it being very busy.

Overall, I liked the restaurant but the initial entry experience was highly disappointing. One member of my party said she was not impressed & that it left such a bad impression of the restaurant that she will not return. I might give them another try, but probably not at a busy hour or on a holiday based on this experience.“

“Fish and grill really changed, since I last visited, some 5 years ago. The parking lot is kind of crowded- I didn't expect that to change in a strip zoned for businesses. But it's clean. They would do well to have one garbage can outside of the establishment but the sidewalk is narrow. The signage is visible. The restaurant is very open, airy and immaculate. We arrived, intending to eat in the car because we have a toddler with special needs: he's in keg casts. The restaurant had a separate area in the front, near the door that accommodated our needs. We are COVID conscious and wanted to be away from others. The food was fantastic. We had catfish meals and sides that were delicious, hot and arrived in a timely manner. My grandson was having a horrible time sitting and eating: he is in thigh high casts and he was not happy that he couldn't sit by himself or eat properly. He's very active and independent. While sitting in his mom's lap, he urinated through his diaper and down her leg. While we were ready to go back to the car to take everything "to go." Our server, Tiffany, came to the rescue. She went to the car and gave us a diaper he could fit and pants he could wear. I've never seen such a kind gesture at a restaurant. She is a gem. He's newly casted, so we had to buy new diapers (he's potty training but has to go back a few steps to a regular diaper. Tiffany saved the afternoon. I recommend Dish and Grill for the food (it's exemplary), for the ambiance and for kind people like Tiffany; people that really take pride in themselves and pass kindness to others.
