“Embracing my love for Mexican cuisine, I've had the pleasure of savoring dishes from this region and even indulging in authentic Mexican meals prepared by friends. However, my wife, who grew up in California, insists that the true essence of Mexican food is best experienced on the West Coast. While I've yet to make that journey, I've come to rely on her discerning taste to gauge the authenticity of Mexican flavors.Having sampled Mexican dishes in our local area, including those crafted by genuine Mexican cooks, the consensus is that the flavors, while enjoyable, tend to lean towards an Americanized adaptation. While the food is undeniably good and caters well to American tastes, it falls short of capturing the distinctive and robust flavors characteristic of authentic Mexican cuisine.“
“Ok y'all I'm not easily impressed when it comes to diner food but OH MY GOSH this place is the cutest they have such a cute vibe with a huge board that says daily specials and old timey arcade games ! We had the pleasure of getting the waitress Bobbie (I hope that's how she spells her name) if your fortunate enough to get her you'll know she gives the best service ever!!! She was so kind , striking up a conversation with us after realizing we were out of Towners. She said she loves her job and says everything is made in house!! AND THE FOOD!!! Y'all I'm vegetarian and my boyfriend eats normal so I was scared they wouldn't have anything for me but they did!! I got breakfast for dinner (Wich was amazing that they had that) and even though I just got some eggs and a bagel and applesauce it was the best I ever had!!!!! You could really tell it was made with love the bread pudding that we split for dessert was amazing as well. The cutest part was that they had food prayers on the back of there menus and that in itself is beautiful but the fact that they had the Jewish prayer for food too made me almost tear up !! (I'm Jewish lol) I'm so sad I can come back everyday!!!“
“Piedmont is my regular Culpeper stop. Their steaks are perfection, service is great, drinks are delicious and they have a nice bourbon selection. You have to come in and enjoy their Tomahawk steak its the best!Thanks Nikki, Duck and everyone on your staff for making dining at Piedmont an awesone experience every time!“
“Our first time here. Great dinner. Beautifully presented. Creative menu. Some unique wines included on the wine list. Very attentive service - server made some good recommendations. Restaurant as generally filled but not too loud. We look forward to returning.“
“The food is very good. (I have only ever gotten 3 things in all the times I've been there.) However, it is quite short staffed so the wait for the food is usually around 1 hour. I love this place but sometimes I wish it was faster. Come if you want great food, but not if your in a rush.“
“The food was excellent. We had tacos and our son loved his Philly. The margarita flight is definitely worth trying. The staff was friendly and accommodating. At one point a different waitress came over and gave our daughter some crafts to make bookmarks. We are definitely planning on returning to try more food.“
“Our AirBnB host recommended Grill 309 during our stay near Culpeper. We loved it so much that we came twice- once for dinner, once for breakfast. We both enjoyed our dinners- I had a yummy fried chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun, while my husband enjoyed his "Greek Burger" which featured a layer of gyro meat (what's so wrong about topping meat with meat?). Anyway, he loved it even if his arteries did not. We returned a few days later for brunch. Honestly, my Greek Omelet was one of the best omelets I've had. I'm not a big egg eater, so often leave a portion of my omelet uneaten. Not so here. The egg was closer to a crepe, and it was filled to perfection. My spicy Bloody Mary was the perfect accompaniment. My husband felt the same about his Western Omelet.... and his pineapple Mimosa. And the best part? We were able to bring our Border Collie to the brunch with us. It was just warm enough to sit on their patio. They brought him water and lots of love. Needless to say, if we are near Culpeper in the future, this will be the first place we go.“
