Now Ms. Lita, the Chef is a one of a kind and the crown jewel of this restaurant. Her food is just amazing and we always look forward to seeing her. “It is a little hole in the wall place that TOTALLY SOLD ME. I ordered sashimi (this is why we go, right?) wow! let me tell you. The presentation alone will want you to take a picture of the plate. My combo came with an orchid in the center. Sashimi was delicious! Their staff was SUPER efficient. The Atmosphere... quaint and comforting. I would go back there as soon as I go back to that city. “This is a hidden gem! I understand this restaurant has been open for many years. Maybe due to the locality, I’ve overlooked it. But, today I stopped in and was SO pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is meticulously clean and decorated very nicely. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was great! I got the crabcake and flounder platter with yams and asparagus. The only complaint I have… is that I didn’t stop in here sooner! I will definitely be returning to Fish n Grill. Thank you!“

He was amazing, I wish I could remember his name! We ordered various dishes from salmon to the steaks. The food was cooked perfectly, the brussel sprouts and potatoes were delicious.“

“My husband and I are new to the area and have been trying different restaurants every week. We recently tried Firebirds and, in our opinion, the food was just ok. However, the server was phenomenal and the atmosphere was wonderful.My husband and I each had a steak, his was the Cajun and mine was the NY strip. The cut of each steak was perfect and thick. Each steak was cooked to perfection. The flavor was lacking and the seasoning was basic. There wasn't anything that made this steak really standout from other restaurants we have been to. In all honesty, the steak tasted better after my husband and I took home the leftovers, and cut the steak up, and put it in a salad.We will definitely try Firebirds again, but it won't be for the steak. We truly appreciated our server who was extremely busy, but was very attentive to our table. She filled out drinks, checked on our table numerous times, and was very sweet. As I said earlier, the Firebirds atmosphere was on point! As a result of these two important factors, we will definitely try another meal at Firebirds.“
“I wish I had more time to write this review. We meet some friends here that we hadn't seen in a few years and besides the great company our server read the table very well all night. His timing on taking our orders blended perfectly with our conversations. Then his dinner reccomendations were the highlight, the dishes we all decided on where based on his descriptive explanations of each dish and they were spot on when our food arrived. This place deserves 6 stars.“
“The food here is pretty decent but it was really loud in there and even though I told the guy behind the counter I couldn't hear him and verified which burger I wanted TWICE he rang me up for a burger that cost twice as much as the one I ordered and when I told him he gave me a $5 coupon for "the next time you're in". I understand that they might have been busy and it might be policy not to refund or anything like that but it was pretty frustrating after I'd tried to communicate it beforehand and it was more then a $5 difference. Oh well...the burgers aren't bad and the place is really cute ?“

“The food was surprisingly good. I’ve never been to one, but it exceeded my expectations. One thing I do admire is the staff. The staff here was 10/10. They deserve raises all around or appreciation because they went above and beyond. Not only did they provide excellent service.. “Wayward travelers wanting something (ethnically) different.... a change. WE GOT IT ! ! We walked into what we thought was either a restaurant or a fast food take-out place. WRONG ! This was both, in-house and take-out in AFGHAN colorfully themed items with pictures, AFGHAN memorabilia, and an obviously proud - hard working man (the owner) greeting - educating - AND making us feel like we were 'APPRECIATED". Selections made he disappeared into the kitchen to FRESHLY prepare the most wonderfully seasoned KABOB PLATTERS you could ask for. “The service was really friendly and quick. The place is fun and kid friendly vibe like your typical Mexican restaurant. The food is where it fell short for us compared to other local spots. The salsa tasted like jar salsa and the queso also was basic. I give the birria tacos a 3/5! They were good but I’ve had better. The enchiladas were extremely bland and flavorless. The rice however was delicious!! The margaritas were also pretty decent. Their house hot sauce was bomb!!! Overall it was a good spot but there’s so many other great Mexican places in the area that I think raises the bar even higher.“
