Everything about this plane is amazing! Atmosphere, service and the food! Best crab cake I’ve ever had and the ribeye was delicious and then the dessert! Wow the cheesecake our group had was mouthwatering! Can’t wait for the next visit!
Great service, nice decor, pricey and 2 of 4 small plates were tasty. We stopped in for appetizers and drinks. The brioche small plate and the scallop small plate were just ok. Brioche and butter/? toppings did not pair well. Only one scallop on small plate although delicious it was still just one scallop. The potatoes with chalky powder under the scallop were meh. The bleu and kale salad and pork belly small plate were both good. Overall ok. Will try for dinner at some point.
Food and Service was top notch!
Our server, in his senior year at local Mary Washington College, was attentive and all around outstanding. The wedge salad, crab cakes were very tasty and the BLT was one of the best ever.
The entire experience was impressive.

Based on the reviews, Five Chophouse offers top notch food and service. The wedge salad, crab cakes, BLT, and hanger steak were tasty, with the hanger steak described as better than high end steaks at steakhouses. The filet cooked medium with house steak sauce was cooked correct and thick, while the dry aged ribeye was very good. The roasted sweet potatoes with pumpkin seeds were amazing and caramelized. The cucumber lime mocktail was very tasty. The service was amazing, attentive, and outstanding, with helpful and personable staff. The ambiance was great, setting the tone for a romantic and elegant evening. A bourbon cocktail pairing dinner exceeded expectations and was a 5 star dining experience, with the chef explaining each dish and the Master Distiller explaining the cocktails. However, some dishes were lack luster, including pork belly bites that were tough, poached beets and pears with unpoached beets and unripe pears, and a filet that was no more impressive than an outback filet. The bill was over $200, and while service was stellar, the meal was not the best for an anniversary.
