“My wife and I went last night and had a terrific anniversary meal. Our server Eric was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable of the entrées and even made suggestions. We had the shrimp cigars as an appetizer. Very tasty. My wife got the surf and turf. It was excellent I got the beef short rib a wonderful choice, so flavorful. And to top it all off the peanut butter pie was a great closer to an excellent meal would highly recommend.”

“I have been to several boba places all over the east coast. Nothing, and I truly mean nothing, comes in even close to the service, taste, and feeling of this place. My fiancee and I were able to stop by the highest rated boba place in New York City, and upon tasting the boba, we were left disappointed that the quality wasn’t as good as BubbleBee. Literally THE BEST bubble tea place on earth. You must must must try this place. The vibes are incredible with the lofi music, and it’s so secluded above everything else. Truly a one of a kind boba place.Parking: A little difficult to find parking as street parking isn’t always available. There is a nearby lot that we usually park in and we just walk the .25 miles to this place. It’s highly worth it.”
“My fiance and I drive all the way from Culpeper just to have this fried chicken and each time we come, we never get let down. We always order the same mealthe fried chicken wings, baked mac and cheese and french fries. The chicken is crispy, flavorful and juicy! The baked mac and cheese is seasoned well and nice and cheesy and the fries are perfectly seasoned and crispy as well. It's worth the drive and I have to say the best chicken wings I've had in Virginia so far. ? I have to add that the service is great and the staff is kind!! Go get you some!!”

“We had a fantastic Iftaar! The spacious setting was perfect for our family, and my kids loved the variety of dishes. But the real star of the show was the food - every bite was bursting with flavor and left us all wanting more. The Afghani food were plentiful and expertly prepared. Highly recommend this place for a delicious and satisfying meal during Ramadan or any time of the year!”

I made the mistake and bought pre made ones from Wegmans this past week... and had to order this to recoup from the disappointment. I also ordered the lobster bisque which is amazingly thick and creamy. I haven't tried the cake yet, but I know it's going to be tasty!”

The salsa tasted like jar salsa and the queso also was basic. I give the birria tacos a 3/5! They were good but I’ve had better. The enchiladas were extremely bland and flavorless. The rice however was delicious!! The margaritas were also pretty decent. Their house hot sauce was bomb!!! Overall it was a good spot but there’s so many other great Mexican places in the area that I think raises the bar even higher.”

“We stopped by the other night and so glad we did! Everything was fresh and very tasty! It's the ONLY place I can find that makes Sope's and it was so good with the Chorizo Chicken! Everyone else tried the tacos: fish, shrimp, carne asada and Chorizo Chicken and they were really good and fresh as well! The chorizo rice and Chorizo beans were very tasty! My son had the Horchata to drink and my husband tried the pineapple mango and he liked it as well! We will definitely be back for tacos and my sopes again soon!”

He provides a great shopping list so you know how much he to buy for your event. His team setup the bar and ensured guests were served drinks as needed. I booked reservations for my boyfriend's birthday because we enjoy food and wine pairings and I had found this place on the internet and thought it was right up his ally. The ambiance is clean and modern. The food is off the chart. And the service was okay... with the most cordial person being the chef who brought one of our meals out and chatted with us a bit. I would normally enter in to a long drawn out review here, but I am reading others' and they say it best. I will say that the Salmon and Ginger was actually one of the best morsels of food I have ever put in my mouth! And I despise Salmon. LOL”

I love the no-waste policy, which forces you to moderate your own eating in a buffet, but it's how things should be.Some of the food lacks a bit of flavor, but if it's authentic Asian, maybe it's like that? I don't mind, because I will keep coming here since I can deal with some food being a little less flavorful since the rest certainly is great! I can get takoyaki, ramen, sushi, sashimi and more in one sitting without fear of missing out.Even their desserts are good. Great Oishi sweet donuts and creamy ice cream.I only took off one star for the food, which I explained and one star for service. Their service is excellent and prompt, they are attentive, but sometimes there is a language barrier which can make it a bit frustrating to deal with until another server can help. I don't mind this as much either, since eventually they will learn more of the local language, but when you're hungry and want to get food fast, it can get in the way.”

“This is the single best place to eat in all of Fredericksburg. My wife and I moved to the area a year and a half ago but only discovered this place a few months ago. We wish we had discovered it earlier because it instantly became our favorite place in all Fredericksburg.The food is absolutely AMAZING. They have a wide range of traditional Indian food options, all well priced and large portions. My wife is a vegetarian so we were worried about limited options, but were surprised when we learned each dish can be made with Paneer! A wonderful Indian cheese that carrier so much flavor in each bite. The Paneer Korma became her favorite dish but the Paneer Masala was also amazing. Personally, I tried the: Korma, Masala, Butter Chicken, Vindaloo, and the Goan costal curry. All were AMAZING!But what truly sets this place apart from the rest is the Naan bread. Freshly made in house, generously portioned with each order, it is heavenly. The Bread Basket is our 100% recommendation as it comes with 3 pieces of regular, garlic, and stuffed naan! Our favorite combination by far is the garlic naan and butter chicken as the sauce is truly divine.I 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting or staying in Fredericksburg. You will leave fully satisfied with leftovers that are even better the next day.”

The atmosphere was great as we visited on st. Patrick's day brunch. The service was top tier. We had a large party and they brought out family style sides and I mean all the sides. And they were truly endless as we were giving to go sides as many of whatever we wanted. The FOOD. When I say I have never tasted the most perfect seasoned food in my life. Needed nothing. Everything was seasoned and flavourful. If you like savory food this place is it. Not for a sweet tooth person. I had the marinated roast beer. And sheaperds pie. And man. Wonderful. The desserts are the downfall but who cares. The only regret I have is not visiting this place sooner. I will be taking the wife again soon. As it's not really a place for picky eating children or adults. You will not be disappointed.”

Solid salsa too!Now the soup: Tried the tortilla soup. DELICIOUS!The Tacos: You get TWO per order. I messed up the first visit and got WAY too many. They have a choice of flour or corn tortillas. I have not tried the corn option but the flour is big enough that two tacos will FILL you up!The Rice and Beans: I need to figure out how to make pinto beans the way they do. They serve a lot of their platters with a side of rice and beans. These are not smashed beans, these are delicious, homemade pintos. The beans and rice are seasoned perfectly and come out HOT!The Burritos: Seasoning is great! Like on POINT! Not the most gargantuan I have ever had but they are PACKED with fresh ingredients and the flavor is fantastic.The servers are attentive as well.We will be back for sure!”

“Umi Japanese Cuisine is my favorite place for sushi in town. I wish I could say that my four years of being stationed in Japan lend credibility to this review, but unfortunately, they don’t—I don’t remember the taste of anything from 20 years ago. However, I want to offer a helping hand to those of us who want to explore the various sushi rolls but don’t know what they look like. Here are my top three favorites so far: The Charles Roll, The Surf & Turf Roll, and a roll that was on special. I also picked a sake that has the letter ‘G’ in its name, like my name. I had no other basis for choosing a sake, other than the fact that I don’t like it too sweet. The owner, Chen, and the team were efficient as always. My family and I also spend every Christmas here for lunch.”

I ordered a large vanilla cone, and 3 burgers (1 for me, andv1 for each of my dogs). They were hot and fresh, and the cone was cold and fresh! We got 3 pupusas (revueltas which is a mixture of pork and cheese I believe, and loroco which is a plant and cheese) and the grilled shrimp platter. Great portions. I also had the horchata. It's decorated with beautiful latin American arrangements. It's a mom and pop business it seems with more of a diner atmosphere which makes it homey.”

The music from Cheeky's could easily be heard in Casey's which was kind of weird. This is definitely an upper scale place, and just found it weird.The food though.... Was amazing. We were there during happy hour time so most apps were half off and our teas were $2. I hate paying a ton for iced tea, and was happy to see the cheap price. We ordered 4 different appetizers because why not? The cauliflower, brussel sprouts, artichoke and duck wings. Everything was really good and had interesting textures and flavors. Definitely upscale appetizers. None of us really liked the artichoke appetizer but it was very pretty looking. Haha.For dinner we had a Cesar salad with chicken and salmon, short rib pasta (lots of ingredients that worked together but was somewhat bland. “This place is PHENOMENAL! Went to Foode on "first Friday" Arrived without a reservation, and despite being pretty busy was seated right away. Hostess and my server (Kat) both recommended the confit duck leg (it was the feature entree) but as you can see I went a different direction (I had reviewed the menu before I got there). Kat was a great waitress, attentive, yet not over the top attentive. Started with the local sourdough boule which came warm with soft butter and olive oil (because I love bread and I knew how well it would go with the entree). Off to a great start. For my entree I had the shrimp and grits with a side of the roasted root vegetables. The shrimp and grits was really good, there's a flavor in there I could not identify but added not only flavor but a very interesting bouquet. Shrimp were relatively giant and were perfect. Roasted root vegetables were, again, perfect....a nice variety of vegetables and a surprise of candied walnut mixed in which added a whole new flavor dimension. I did take the hostesses recommendation and had the chocolate chip cookies for dessert. Here's where they go from 5 to 4 stars. Yes, the presentation was awesome (I mean, haven't we always said to ourselves if a restaurant would just serve some milk with dessert?) and the cookies were warm and giant. But...they aren't really chocolate chip cookies. They're more like a spice-oatmeal cookie with some chocolate chips added in. I was disappointed, not because they didn't taste good (they did) but because they weren't really chocolate chip cookies. Foode is housed in an old bank building, nice decor. I didn't see much of the space but what I saw was pretty cool. I will definitely be back. Pricey? Not really. Yes, my bill was $62 before tip....but I did take my leftovers with me, so 2 meals for $62? Ok.”

He never got an attitude or made me feel that my feelings were invalid because I waited and we needed to see what was going on! “My friend and I were late diners after a fun mall shopping day, and we were very hungry! Even though we were late comers, the staff receptions were courteous, friendly and welcoming! The service was very professional and accommodating. The restaurant was quite busy, but our food was served surprisingly promptly! And the flounder and shrimp were beyond delicious! Looking forward to when we can return! My favorite Red Lobster.Parking: Parking was available, and very convenient to the mall we visited. Everything was ideal.”

“The service here is great. I've never come in on a full day though. I've looked at other Chinese restaurants and ambiance always matters because I normally come with my kids. I like that you are sectioned off nicely with the booths and feel like you're having privacy. The food is good. I normally get the sweet & sour chicken and orange chicken, which come with steamed rice. I usually get some sushi too. The "spicy" sushi actually isn't too spicy which is great because I don't eat very spicy food. I can handle mild and medium. None of the dishes seem to surpass that tastebud threshold. One of my favorite sushi dishes is the creamy crab roll. Tasty! Their steam dumplings are also yummy. I normally order a soda but realized they have a few draft beers so I got a Blue Moon. I've only been here twice but will continue to return because I'm always satisfied!”
“This is a hidden gem! I understand this restaurant has been open for many years. Maybe due to the locality, I’ve overlooked it. But, today I stopped in and was SO pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is meticulously clean and decorated very nicely. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was great! I got the crabcake and flounder platter with yams and asparagus. “This is the first time we have been here. The inside is decorated very nice. There is a good variety of smoothies. It is only one size on the smoothies but they are very tasty. They have a good variety of pastries as well. All of them looked delicious. The staff was friendly and served us quickly. We will give a four for now, but we will come back more and try different smoothies and pastries.”

“My wife and I went last night and had a terrific anniversary meal. Our server Eric was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable of the entrées and even made suggestions. We had the shrimp cigars as an appetizer. Very tasty. My wife got the surf and turf. It was excellent I got the beef short rib a wonderful choice, so flavorful. And to top it all off the peanut butter pie was a great closer to an excellent meal would highly recommend.”
