Extra props for the tortillas being made fresh and they were HUGE! I also saw that they have Pozole on Friday & Saturday so I will def be back for that as well and to try EVERYTHING else on the menu! The salsas were delicious. They gave us a smoky salsa, an avocado-lime, and a spicy salsa. All DELICIOUS!! Definitely an amazing hidden gem and I am sad that this was my first time trying it. I grew up going here for special occasions; in high school I went multiple times a month with friends; as a college student, I look forward to coming home and visiting here. Such a great vibe had dinner at Firebirds the night before totally underwhelming the bartenders at Park Lane worked in unison and absolutely friendly and engaging with the customers. Those three should actually own the bar. I will definitely be back next time. I travel to Fredericksburg.”

“We recently hosted my dad’s 60th birthday party here with a group of over 30 people. Hosting a large party can be challenging but the staff handled it flawlessly.

Our server, Jeffrey, was exceptional. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of! Jeffrey was friendly, attentive and his great service truly made the celebration even more special.

The food came out surprisingly fast, especially for such a large group and every dish was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. You could really taste the quality and authenticity in every meal.

If you’re looking for a place to host a large gathering or simply enjoy an incredible authentic Italian dinner, I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. Thank you for helping make my dad’s 60th birthday such a memorable celebration!”

“I am currently here now and once again they are amazing with customer service. I’ve posted my past review on google and forgot to post one here. It is rare to meet a family business who takes pride in their business in a good way. The workers also work so hard and will smile you all the way out the door. I just really love it here. My favorite is the fried chicken and hope cakes. Me being from Chicago and recently moving here, it’s like a piece of home that I have in those wings. I totally recommend 1k percent. If I had a group with me I would give the entire establishment a standing ovation. Keith Lee really needs to check this place out.”

We were coming from church and the party consisted of 5 couples. We had been there before with no issues getting separate checks. Was told it was a weekend policy implemented 3 months ago. We have been there within the last month and was not told this. No bad experiences prior. Assuming the manager just did not want to accommodate us.”

He discusses what drinks you want to be served and if you're not sure, has different packages and allowing you to either buy the alcohol/wine/beer yourself (to save a few dollars) or for his team to buy it. “Fish and grill really changed, since I last visited, some 5 years ago. The parking lot is kind of crowded- I didn't expect that to change in a strip zoned for businesses. But it's clean. They would do well to have one garbage can outside of the establishment but the sidewalk is narrow. The signage is visible. The restaurant is very open, airy and immaculate. We arrived, intending to eat in the car because we have a toddler with special needs: he's in keg casts. The restaurant had a separate area in the front, near the door that accommodated our needs. We are COVID conscious and wanted to be away from others. The food was fantastic. We had catfish meals and sides that were delicious, hot and arrived in a timely manner. My grandson was having a horrible time sitting and eating: he is in thigh high casts and he was not happy that he couldn't sit by himself or eat properly. He's very active and independent. While sitting in his mom's lap, he urinated through his diaper and down her leg. While we were ready to go back to the car to take everything "to go." Our server, Tiffany, came to the rescue. She went to the car and gave us a diaper he could fit and pants he could wear. I've never seen such a kind gesture at a restaurant. She is a gem. He's newly casted, so we had to buy new diapers (he's potty training but has to go back a few steps to a regular diaper. Tiffany saved the afternoon. I recommend Dish and Grill for the food (it's exemplary), for the ambiance and for kind people like Tiffany; people that really take pride in themselves and pass kindness to others. Thank you, Tiffany I hope and Fish and Grill recognizes your excellence!”

“The chicken and biscuits from Raise the Roost inside the 7-Eleven on Newtown Road and Providence are, by far, the worst I've ever had. The chicken was either overcooked and dry, with burnt outsides and —likely due to improper fryer temperatures or incorrect timer settings. The coating was thick and cakey, indicating poor preparation. Even the green beans had no seasoning or taste. I recommend not using salt if you decide to season. To top it off, the bathrooms were in horrible and smelly condition. I would've returned the food if I had time. Thumbs down! I took pictures but you cannot upload”

“I recently had a wonderful experience at the Denny's in Fredericksburg, Virginia. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff, who were quick to seat me despite it being a busy time. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting, making it easy to relax. My server was attentive, ensuring my coffee stayed full and offering helpful menu suggestions. I ordered the Grand Slam, and the food was fantastic—pancakes were fluffy, eggs were cooked to perfection, and the bacon was nice and crispy. “A Surprisingly Good Solo Lunch

Visiting IHOP is a hectic family trip with my 9 and 12-year-olds, but walking in solo today for a quick lunch felt a bit strange, and I honestly didn't think I’d enjoy it as much without the boys.

It turned out to be a great, peaceful break. The restaurant was clean and the temperature was toasty inside—actually a little too warm for me, but that was my fault for wearing two shirts.

I ordered the Fish and Fries. The menu calls them fries, but they’re really thick-cut fried potatoes rather than traditional steak fries.

Still, they were hot and good, and the fish had a nice, satisfying crunch.

The highlight was the new Pineapple Strawberry Lemonade. It paired well with the fish and fries.

The staff was awesome and hook me up with extra pineapples and strawberries without charging me extra. It’s a great flavor combo that cut right through the fried food.

The best part? Enjoying a hot meal without managing any messes. The staff here were friendly, and they even gave me 10% off the bill for Memorial Day. Couldn't have asked for much more.”

When I came in I usually use the kiosk because nobody is ever up front but Kamari stopped what he was doing to take my order. He was very polite and nice . I have a disability and he took the time to help me . It truly meant the world. The counter was clean , as well as the cooking area and bathrooms. 5 out of 5 exp!!!!”

Now the Banana pudding 9.8/10 nice thick pudding not watery at all the wafers were perfect bringing my total score to 27.8/30. the portions are well balanced!! “My husband and I have been coming to Eileen’s since we moved to Fredericksburg. We visit most weekends, and any time we have friends or family in town. They always ask to go back when they visit!

Today we brought some friends who were in town for a visit and everything was amazing as usual! I had the turkey pesto croissant, my husband had the croque monsieur, and my friend got the pistachio roll. We ended up going back up for another pistachio roll. It was incredible.

Hours after we left my friend realized she had left her purse behind. Unfortunately her keys were in her bag, and the bakery was closed, so we had no way of retrieving the bag. She was supposed to drive back to Pennsylvania, so we reached out to the owner, fully expecting her to say they would be happy to give us the purse when they opened the next day.

Much to our surprise, the owner (Trista) drove back to the bakery to meet us and give my friend her purse. She was SO kind and lovely. Went way above and beyond.

Eileen’s is already a beloved spot for us, but now they have customers for life. Thanks again, Trista!!!”

They give you such large portions I will have enough for dinner tonight, too!! The last owner of this store never did well with very poor customer service among distasteful things, with ultimately led to its closing. Thankfully, the store opened back up again with NEW management, menus, employees, environment and aura! Everything including the interior was aesthetically pleasing, and the staff were super friendly. I am happy this shop will now be given the proper glory needed! The rustic charm with music playing was perfect after a long drive. We had the steamed shrimp and potato skins that were excellent.”

“We ordered take-out online. The ordering app was easy enough to use, but the final payment process had some issues transitioning to the payment input. It took several page refreshes to get to the input screen. The option for pick-up at a later time did not work at all. There is an online ordering fee! When arriving at the restaurant, discovered that our order was not ready; in spite of being there 10 minutes after agreed pick-up time. The person at the front had NO clue about our order, I had to show my order / payment verification email. Person says "5 more minutes" and disappears into the kitchen. Now I am envisioning the kitchen staff dashing around to put this overlooked order together. Fifteen minutes later, same person emerges from the back with bagged order, but no apology. That said, the food was delicious! We enjoyed it all (despite a surprise substitution from someone else's order) and still have leftovers for later. We will likely patronize again, either in the dining room or from the online menu.”

“I was browsing for chicken places near me and this popped up. It was 9 miles away. And I usually won’t drive that far for food. And I typically stick with mom and pop restaurants. I thought this was a chain was I first looked at it. But I figured I’d give it a shot. I walked inside and it is a very clean establishment. I was greeted and told it would be a few moments. No big deal seeing as I’ve never been there before and needed to look over the menu. A very polite gentleman took our order and apologized for the wait. Which to me was not an issue at all. Our food was out a short time later. We got the fried chicken, baked Mac and cheese and creamed spinach. Good sized portions. And it was very good. Come to find out it is a family owned business as well. I will definitely be coming back.”
