“Had an early lunch at Laurita’s chicken. It was our first time. The place was VERY clean and the food was DELICIOUS!! We both got carne asada tacos and the chicken tacos and they were 10/10. Extra props for the tortillas being made fresh and they were HUGE! I also saw that they have Pozole on Friday & Saturday so I will def be back for that as well and to try EVERYTHING else on the menu! The salsas were delicious. They gave us a smoky salsa, an avocado-lime, and a spicy salsa. All DELICIOUS!! Definitely an amazing hidden gem and I am sad that this was my first time trying it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It is in the Breezewood shopping center off of Courthouse Rd. Where Big Lots and Starbucks are.”

“Was staying in the Holiday Inn nearby? Just passing through saw it had a great rating stopped in. It was some of the best Tacos and Quesadilla I've ever had. Beans and rice were killer and the customer service was top notch. Thank you for a delicious meal. Next time we pass thru we know where to stop.”

“This place is literally my favorite Mexican restaurant on the planet. I grew up going here for special occasions; in high school I went multiple times a month with friends; as a college student, I look forward to coming home and visiting here. Friendly staff, AMAZING food, and really low prices. Could not recommend more.”

“This has become my coffee shop when I work in Fredericksburg. The staff are all super friendly and helpful! I usually get espresso or a cortado/macchiato. Their breakfast sandwiches are good. They change up the offers on the sandwiches frequently.”

Such a great vibe had dinner at Firebirds the night before totally underwhelming the bartenders at Park Lane worked in unison and absolutely friendly and engaging with the customers. Those three should actually own the bar. I will definitely be back next time. I travel to Fredericksburg.”

“By far the most impressive, delicious, and caring restaurant in the Fredericksburg region. I walked in late with my family not expecting to be accommodated but Juan and the staff were wonderful. The food was the best Italian food in downtown by far, speaking as someone has had genuine Italian food. Juan made sure we were all attended to and was what I believe to be the best server I’ve had the experience of knowing in all of Virginia. I can’t put it into words how kind and hardworking he was, it was incredible to see him work. I was stressed that my lateness would ruin my birthday but they accommodated to our needs more than any other restaurant I think would. It was already 30 minutes past close and he allowed me to get Tiramisu as a birthday dessert. The staff and Juan quite frankly deserve to have an award. Don’t even get me started on how the outdoor experience was impeccable. Whenever I bring international friends to Fredericksburg, I will absolutely bring them here. This is a World Class restaurant. Excellent food. Excellent service. Excellent atmosphere. We will be back, and many times at that.”

“I am currently here now and once again they are amazing with customer service. I’ve posted my past review on google and forgot to post one here. It is rare to meet a family business who takes pride in their business in a good way. The workers also work so hard and will smile you all the way out the door. I just really love it here. My favorite is the fried chicken and hope cakes. Me being from Chicago and recently moving here, it’s like a piece of home that I have in those wings. I totally recommend 1k percent. If I had a group with me I would give the entire establishment a standing ovation. Keith Lee really needs to check this place out.”

We were coming from church and the party consisted of 5 couples. We had been there before with no issues getting separate checks. Was told it was a weekend policy implemented 3 months ago. We have been there within the last month and was not told this. No bad experiences prior. Assuming the manager just did not want to accommodate us.”

“The chicken and biscuits from Raise the Roost inside the 7-Eleven on Newtown Road and Providence are, by far, the worst I've ever had. The chicken was either overcooked and dry, with burnt outsides and —likely due to improper fryer temperatures or incorrect timer settings. The coating was thick and cakey, indicating poor preparation. Even the green beans had no seasoning or taste. I recommend not using salt if you decide to season. To top it off, the bathrooms were in horrible and smelly condition. I would've returned the food if I had time. Thumbs down! I took pictures but you cannot upload”

Now the Banana pudding 9.8/10 nice thick pudding not watery at all the wafers were perfect bringing my total score to 27.8/30. the portions are well balanced!! They give you such large portions I will have enough for dinner tonight, too!! Thankfully, the store opened back up again with NEW management, menus, employees, environment and aura! Everything including the interior was aesthetically pleasing, and the staff were super friendly. I am happy this shop will now be given the proper glory needed! The rustic charm with music playing was perfect after a long drive. We had the steamed shrimp and potato skins that were excellent.”

“We ordered take-out online. The ordering app was easy enough to use, but the final payment process had some issues transitioning to the payment input. It took several page refreshes to get to the input screen. The option for pick-up at a later time did not work at all. There is an online ordering fee! When arriving at the restaurant, discovered that our order was not ready; in spite of being there 10 minutes after agreed pick-up time. The person at the front had NO clue about our order, I had to show my order / payment verification email. Person says "5 more minutes" and disappears into the kitchen. Now I am envisioning the kitchen staff dashing around to put this overlooked order together. Fifteen minutes later, same person emerges from the back with bagged order, but no apology. That said, the food was delicious! We enjoyed it all (despite a surprise substitution from someone else's order) and still have leftovers for later. We will likely patronize again, either in the dining room or from the online menu.”

This time, it’s definitely a positive one. We visited this spot with all-you-can-eat service, and the experience exceeded all expectations. One of the highlights was a little robot that came out to deliver our food. It was both cute and really cool, adding a fun and unique touch to the meal.

The meats presented were absolutely amazing. Each cut was perfectly fresh and flavorful, grilling right at our table to perfection. The variety and quality made the all-you-can-eat experience feel truly special.

Our server, Amirah, deserves a huge shoutout for being the best we’ve encountered in a long time. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout our visit.

“This is the cafè where beans are roasted by celestial beings and every cup is brewed with the precision of a divorcé assembling a midlife crisis kit car. The air is a perfect blend of espresso and existential peace hugging you like a cashmere blanket. The barista crafted the dankest coffee I have ever tasted and was probably imbued with the power to summon good luck. 2026 update: it's still the best coffee shop in oldtown. And I've had tons of good luck, which is probably attributable in part to my patronage.”

“I was browsing for chicken places near me and this popped up. It was 9 miles away. And I usually won’t drive that far for food. And I typically stick with mom and pop restaurants. I thought this was a chain was I first looked at it. But I figured I’d give it a shot. I walked inside and it is a very clean establishment. I was greeted and told it would be a few moments. No big deal seeing as I’ve never been there before and needed to look over the menu. A very polite gentleman took our order and apologized for the wait. Which to me was not an issue at all. Our food was out a short time later. We got the fried chicken, baked Mac and cheese and creamed spinach. Good sized portions. And it was very good. Come to find out it is a family owned business as well. I will definitely be coming back.”

“Coffee was delicious but quite a wait. Not noticably busy, but just one person handling the coffee and the register (she hustled as fast as she was able solo, and that was appreciated) Reccomend ordering your coffee immediately and then spending some time looking around or shopping. It was tasty tho! Next time I'll plan accordingly and maybe grab some food too!”
