Waffle House in Fredericksburg

“Late night food heaven. One of the Waffle Houses that still have their dine-in area open late Friday and Saturday nights. How can you go wrong with pecan waffles, cheesy grits, and smothered hash browns. Went late Friday night and it was probably the best grits I’ve have had. Seasoned and cooked perfectly.“

“I love Waffle House, but live a **minimum** of two hours from the closest location. We happened to be at Quantico Marine base, and imagine my exhileration at discovering we were close to this WH location. Upon entering, I noticed that the dining area and bathrooms were VERY clean. Our server, Devan, was attentive and set us up with silverware and waters as soon as we sat down. Last night I decided to try something new and went with a Texas Toast BLT. I asked for crispy bacon and crispy hashbrowns. Oh my goodness, did I get the GREATEST meal I have had in a long time. Grill cook Dadrian cooked the bacon to a perfect crispy golden brown. My double hashbrowns were crunchy on the outside and still tender potato shreds on the inside. Utter perfection.

I reccomended that my husband try the new chicken protein bowl with scrambled eggs topped with chicken breast chunks, cheese, tomatoes, jalapeños, and onions, all perfectly grilled. He added an extra egg. He reccomends adding mushrooms if you like them. He ate it all!!

The service, the atmosphere, the food were all top notch, but it was the friendliness of the crew that made our dinner so lovely. Dadrian and Devan are great assets to your organization.

“This was my first time eating at a Waffle House and I was impressed. I got the all star special and the amount of food I got for $12 was crazy. I got my waffle with peanut butter chips and it was fabulous. My food came out fast. Honestly I’ve waited longer at McDonald’s. It was great and I would come back.“
