Chef Daniel creates the most delicious dishes rivaling that created at many Michelin starred restaurants. Likely the best tasing food in Fredericksburg coupled with impeccable service. I’ve travelled the world doing business and can truly say the Lovacore has set a new high bar for Dining I Fredericksburg. We will definitely be dining there again!
Lawrence was amazing. Very private rooftop vibes. Amazing orange crush and the appetizers were quick and so so tasty. Fresh and local. Will be back on the regular.

Locavore is a favorite restaurant in downtown Fred, offering Michelin star quality food and beverages. The Chef's Seasonal Prix Fixe, a three-course meal for about $48 per person, is a great choice, featuring dishes such as kalbi beef skewers, bread & butter with whipped pork butter and pepper jam, strawberry gazpacho, tuna, strawberry gochujang pork chop, tiramisu cheesecake, and polenta cake. Brunch is also delicious, with unique twists on southern favorites like Biscuits and Gravy with chorizo and an Apple Bellini. The staff and managers are kind, making the atmosphere welcoming and relaxed. Locavore is a great option for special occasions or a nice dining experience, with fair value for the quality of food and service. The restaurant has become a lovely addition to the downtown FXBG food scene, and many visitors plan to return, including to try the rooftop. Overall, Locavore is a highly recommended gem in downtown Fredericksburg, with amazing food, service, and atmosphere.
