So much potential here, portions were well sized, plentiful ingredients, prices pacing inflation but better value than most fast food. 💪
The ingredients lack flavor, this is becoming a common trend across many food establishments though so minimum blame on the cooks. I can’t explain it other than to say my morning burritos were on the bland side.🤷♂ The plantains were spot on.

Carnitas Michoacan is a mainly takeout restaurant with a charming booth that seats two people, plus outside seating and a drive-thru. The food is delicious and amazing, with a great selection that is well seasoned and fresh. Meals include Carne Asada Fries, Barbacoa tacos with dipping broth, pork tamales with plenty of pork, Tortilla soup, Al Pastor tacos, birria tacos, and breakfast burritos like Machaca, Rancho, and the Burrito Tampico. The homemade salsas are spiced nicely without being burn your mouth hot. The staff is friendly, polite, and professional. Service is fast, with a wait less than 10 minutes. Prices are good, reasonable, and offer good value. It is a little hole in the wall spot that is easy to pass, but the food beats all Mexican restaurants in the area.
