“I stopped by Mu Cha after walking about 10 minutes from Riverside Park, and it was 100% worth it.

My boyfriend got the mango shaved ice, and I ordered the vanilla ice cream waffle cone with strawberry topping. Both were delicious, and the portions were satisfying.

The shop itself has a really nice vibe. It wasn’t overcrowded, so we were actually able to sit, enjoy our dessert, have a conversation, and leave without feeling rushed or squeezed into a packed space. The aesthetic is clean and inviting, and I especially appreciated the oversized menu displayed at eye level on the wall across from the ordering counter. It made deciding what to get so much easier.

One feature I loved was the self-service ordering kiosk. It’s perfect for anyone who just wants to order without having to interact much—my fellow introverts will appreciate that. 😂 The view through the shop’s windows is also a nice bonus and adds to the overall atmosphere.

The only thing that was a little confusing was finding the entrance. Mu Cha shares the building entrance with a noodle shop downstairs, while Mu Cha itself is upstairs. There are actually two entrances into the building: one near the noodle shop and another closer to the staircase. If it’s your first visit, head to the entrance closest to the stairs on the right—that’ll get you to Mu Cha more easily.
