“I was hesitant to go, but it's been 4 years since I had an awful experience there. My granddaughter wanted to try it, so we went. Wow!! The food was fresh, and the burgers we big and juicy and cooked to perfection. The waiter was awesome, and I wish I had remembered his name, but his personality was outstanding. We will definitely be back again. Thank you !!“
“Had to stop to take a break from driving in the snow squalls, from NY to NC. Being #carnivore everyone was accommodating. Waitress was friendly, chef was on point.Dietary restrictions: They're accommodating. My zero carb life was not negatively affected. I was able to mix menu selections to remove carbs and plants.“
“Doordash app would not let me add a review that does this place Justice. The Burger Den is fantastic. I just received my burger and my fries through doordash in a timely manner, but it's not about doordash, it's about Burger Den and the quality of the food that I just received. This is top notch, this is unbelievable food. I will order from this place again.“
“Denny's is a part of the Flying J gas station, the food was amazing, service was really great. Tori did a really great job helping us with our order and serving us, she was very attentive to us. It was a great experience as we were passing through Virginia.“
“I(41) took my son(20) to The Heist during a weekend road trip from OH through VA. Our intention was to experience more local stops than chains. We visited several local places along our way, but The Heist really stood out as a fantastic place to chill, enjoy great food, and just enjoy an intimate musical atmosphere. The moment you enter The Heist, you're immediately aware of the experience you're meant to have there. It's intimate (read: smallish) but not uncomfortably packed. There's seating directly in front of the stage but also around the perimeter of the venue & at the bar, allowing you to choose your concert/dining experience.Appetizers are delicious and decently-sized, as are the entrees. I had 2 mixed drinks- a fall seasonal drink and a classic gin martini- and both were well-made and accurately priced. The staff felt like family but treated us as guests- we didn't feel neglected or overly hassled at all.The sound is beautiful. The vertical space offers acoustic advantages and disadvantages alike but the crew have it covered. The music and vocals were clear and volume was not a problem; my son and I had no trouble engaging in conversation over our meal.Overall, I'd return to The Heist in a heartbeat. In planning our trip, I had read several comments from folks startled at the prices in contrast to the location- but this isn't some diner, it's a premier music venue. It's a great opportunity for beautiful little Bowling Green to stretch its legs and see what the town is capable of.Thanks for making our little road trip even more special!“
“The food is amazing! A real culinary experience! Chef Denis Calliman designed the entire menu and his team makes everything from scratch! Our party of 8 sampled the entire menu! Our favs were the battered shrimp on a kabob, the roasted chicken that is ginormous, ALL the sides, and the fry bread is a party in your mouth! His knowledge of fair food, flare, and fun comes together for an adventure for your pallette! Also, the bartender Barbara makes the most delicious drinks in the park! The staff is friendly, professional, and you can tell, works as a family! We will definitely be back!We loved it and Chef Denis taught me a thing or 2 about my teenage goofball boys! Thank you for an amazing experience! Much love!Mrs. Sara“
“Honestly great BBQ for an amusement park. The portions are decent and we really enjoyed the KD BBQ sauce. We had the 1/2 smoked chicken, pulled pork, and chicken tenders. The chicken tenders were huge and moist. My daughter said they were some of the best chicken tenders she has ever had in her life. The pulled pork was really tender and had great flavor even before putting the sauce on it. Smoked chicken also wasn't dry, and had great smoky flavor to it. The mac and cheese was surprisingly good as well. Potato wedges were, well, potato wedges so I think its hard to screw those up. Overall, we bought three platters for two adults a teen girl and tween boy and everyone was full. Now, the prices are still amusement park prices so with the food and drinks it was seventy dollars. So, take that into consideration. But that was our one meal in the park so we were ok with it. We go to KD every year and I will definitely go back for food at The Pit.“
“This place exceeded my expectations. The food was hot and what I had was tasty. The dessert left something to be desired but I didn't really need it anyways. The service was delightful.Kid-friendliness: My kids loved all of it. I had to draw the line at cotton candy!“
