“We had dinner at Chef's Kitchen tonight, Feb. 21st. Our waiter Ben was amazing, as was the food. We started with the Burrata and Dumplings, both of which were mouth watering and glorious. My greatest fear is that those dumplings will haunt my dreams forever. I could probably eat them daily. I am telling you it was a religious experience. If not a religious experience then possibly a spiritual experience. I believe if Anthony Bourdain ate here he would have something pithy and wonderful to say. Something cultured and refined. For an entree we both had the braised duck gnocchi which was pillowy, creamy, and delicious. We paired the meal with a Cab Franc from barboursville which was decently priced and absolutely sublime. Give this place an opportunity. Eat here. My wife and I both agree that it is the best meal we have shared together in many years. Oh and ask for Ben and tip him well. He's the man.“

“I ran across the Maple Street Biscuit Company quite by accident. Great breakfast place! The menu is well laid out and the food is very tasty. This is a fast casual set up with orders taken at the counter and you are given a number. Food comes out quick. Things that standout are the vegetarian mushroom gravy, iced coffee on tap right next to the sweet and unsweetened tea, and the strawberry short cake. My only problem is there is not one in the Raleigh area. Message to management: COME TO RALEIGH! I am looking forward to my next visit.“

You can stop by, quickly pickup items, and take home for heat and eat. I was tasked with making backup Thanksgiving holiday meal in case a planned gathering didn't pan out. You know how you might get a holiday invitation and you're not sure how it will work out. So, I decided that do it myself. I made my signature dish for the carry along to the planned meal, but I left the extra back home, and I got the 3 lb smoked turkey to go from Honey Baked Ham, and make a few sides at home. After buying a pie and ice cream, I was set. No fuss, no stress. Great way to de-stress for the holiday and have a backup in case your Thanksgiving Invite Destination folks CAN'T COOK! You can show up, he cordial, bring your plate, then go home and have your meal, your way, and everyone is happy. Just my thoughts.“

Due to my schedule and my time in Richmond to see my son and his family, I’m always heading to Joe’s Out to grab amazing food and of course their fabulous Ice Cream! 9 out of 10 times I’m greeted by Austin, the young man that always smiles and provides you with great conversation and service. I can honestly say that I have never had better food and service from an establishment that caters to those of us that want to get hot tasty take out than Joe’s Out!

“Our party of six enjoyed a lovely mid-afternoon lunch on the patio. Service was prompt, very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed several excellent appetizers including ahi tuna tacos, shaved octopus and the best mussels on the planet! Entree’s we enjoyed were Tuna Poke Bowl, Fried Grouper Sandwich with pickled pineapple just to name a couple. All of us enjoyed our visit and look forward to going again!“

“In town for a soccer tournament this weekend and ended up at Daddio’s tonight. Had an awesome time. Great burgers, great bartenders, and my drink was never empty. We played Singo for a while and then karaoke started and the place really got going once the younger crowd came in. Everyone was singing, laughing, and just having a good time. Really fun vibe all around. If you’re around Henrico and looking for a fun place to hang out, definitely check it out. We’ll be back next time we’re in town.“

“We recently had my mom's Celebration of Life with family at Capital Ale House and I was blown away by the service, food and friendliness of the staff. We decided to go with a gatherings menu and the food choices did not disappoint! Everyone was commenting on how great the food was. It was hard to narrow down the items because everything sounded so great(we had never eaten here before). We had plenty of food and the our family were more than happy to take home leftovers. I would highly recommend Capital Ale! I do want to thank our wonderful servers Frances and Keira...y'all were rock stars keeping up with our crew! “Great Dive Bar and prices are pn the less expensive side. Liked the regulars I met and bartender was kind. I was just killin' time on my wat to grab my dogs fro. the groomer, but I'll be back. “Sedona is definitely a go to spot for us… service is always good with some mishaps sometimes. But always minor enough to keep us coming back. I celebrated my sister’s birthday tonight with a party of 7 and our server Jaeda was on point. She was excellent with her timing for returning to our table for drink refills and our food came out at a good time. She was prompt with check-ins and excellent with service overall. Very calm and personable and made the birthday dinner quite enjoyable.
The only negative thing I have to say is I ordered a Gorgonzola salad to go with no walnuts and I didn’t look at it until I got home. It is very soggy looking even though dressing was on the side and hardly any lettuce.. It was so finely chopped it looked like it belonged as a taco topping and reeks so heavily of onions.
I had seen a customer order it in restaurant before and it looked delicious and full but this takeout just looked sad. Still will be coming back and am going to reach out tomorrow for a potential refund or gift card credit for the salad. Sedona is still a favorite of mine and service is definitely good and I’m thankful this salad mishap has truly been the only negative experience I’ve had of years of patronage to the establishment.
Aside from my ramble if y’all visit definitely ask for Jaeda because her service is stellar. There is also a food runner, I don’t remember his name, seems to work a lot there, always remembers me and my baby and comes to say hi to her and there’s Logan, a host there—always warm and excellent at greeting customers!“
