“Splits the difference between "down-home cookin" and "haute cuisine" and does a masterful job of it. There's something for everyone on the menu, and all of it is great. Particularly pleased to see no "cruelty food" (e.g. fois gras) or baby animals (veal, lamb) on the menu. Thanks for that.”
“We arrived around noon on a Sunday in February. We were greeted promptly and were allowed to pick our own table. It was fairly busy but there were several tables open. It is deceiving from the exterior, because it’s actually a nice ambience with, by gosh, real tablecloths. There is a nice bar area and then a couple of separate areas with tables. Our waitress was prompt and friendly. Service was good and the food was delivered in a reasonable amount of time. For lunch, my spouse ordered the Sailor sandwich, and I ordered the Cuban. The Sailor came stuffed with pastrami, knockwurst and baby swiss on rye. The Cuban had slow roasted pulled pork, Virginia pit ham, smoked provolone, dill pickles and dijonnaise. Both were tasty but the Sailor was the winner – that knockwurst knocked it out of the park! The french fries were lightly breaded, and they were hot and delicious. Prices are average for the area. Highly recommend!”
“A small Chinese restaurant near Short Pump with take out and order in. Very large portions all served with steamed broccoli (love). The best Chinese food I have had in the area. I'll return. Returned today ..had lunchhot and sour soup delicious....the best. Hunan pork hot and spicy as requested......food here is ”
“Legit went to place an order. Dude gave me 10000 in cash for ordering the crunchwrap. Taco bell also sponsored Mt grandfather and his senior living home. Everything i have and have ever had is thanks to this taco.bell”
“I don’t normally review MCDs and this store was exceptional in the staff’s friendliness. Upon entry they greeted us warmly and made this store feel welcoming.”
“First time visiting Oceano, but it will not be our last. Food, drinks, and service were great. Lance, our waiter was excellent! Oyster Rockefeller was not on the menu, but the chef happily prepared it for us, delicious!! I think it may have been the best we ever had. We will definitely be returning.”
“Was told that i would like the chicken salad and it was true, it was best chicken salad i have ever had, also got the majestic smoothie (formerly the prynce) and it was also sooo good! The inside was beautiful and everyone was so welcoming and nice!!”
“I contacted Deep Run with a last minute request to cater for 130 people. They surpassed my expectations. I cannot thank you all enough. The food was amazing. Potato salad, mac/chz, BBQ, wings… all of it was delicious. And whoever answered the phone was helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I highly recommend. If you need catering or are just looking for some really good food… go! Thanks again Deep Run. Y’all delivered.”
“Finally a local place for when the cravings for chicken over rice hits. Food was excellent and the service made you feel genuinely welcomed, 10/10. Will be coming back.”
“Fantastic food. Extremely quick service. Best cooked shrimp tempura I've ever had. Delicious! I'm coming back many times!Dietary restrictions: I am fasting for lent so I can only eat vegan+shellfish and they had so many vegan options.”
“Probably the best brisket in the city. Tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Pairs up perfectly with any of the homemade BBQ sauces. Unforbidden Fruit BBQ sauce sweetened with apples is unique and is definitely a prize winning sauce.Burnt Ends were also very good. No sauce needed on those.More of a take out atmosphere, but there is some seating inside and a few tables outside. Worth staying on site to eat your food fresh and hot off the chopping block. Highly recommended when you need to get your BBQ fix.”
“I don’t know why this place isn’t more often in conversion about best Indian in Richmond! Idk about the Tandoori dishes but everything else is divine - get the paneer Makhani and lamb korma with a side of roti.”
“Great pizza. Sauce is awesome. Great Ceasar salad w fresh parm. And the owner was honest about delivery time to my hotel. He's an honest guy. This is a good place to order!”
“Devil's Lettuce is a fantastic all Vegan restaurant. The staff is friendly, the space is bright and cheerful (there is a pet picture photo wall which is adorable), and more importantly, the food is delicious. I am not a vegan, but this is the type of vegan restaurant that inspires a change in dietary preference as the dishes are so good that you forget you are eating vegan. I absolutely loved the dank nuggs with seasoned fries and the fajitas burrita (I got those to go for dinner) and the Fiesta fries for eating there. Portion sizes are good, and I had to stop myself from overeating my Fiesta fries and take a bit of them home. There are special events and menu items that appear over time - which is also really neat - like a taco bell menu recreation day. I highly recommend stopping in - vegan or not - and try something new.Vegetarian options: This is an all Vegan menuDietary restrictions: Vegan restaurantParking: Plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: This is a small space but can be navigated by wheelchair”
“Old school hot fo joint kind of vibes. Delicious hot dogs, highly recommend getting the chili and cheese. Staff was welcoming as soon as I walked in to the moment I left. Prices are phenomenal compared to similar restaurants.”
“The Grapevine is my favorite restaurant in the Richmond area. Their food is absolutely amazing and their staff goes out of their way to ensure a wonderful dining experience. I highly recommend coming to the Grapevine to experience the fantastic atmosphere that the Trak family has created, and definitely enjoy their outstanding rolls!”
“First time here, had a doc appt nearby. Stopped in and it made me a tad late but PHEW was it worth it! The latte syrups are phenomenal and the service was 10/10. I could tell they were very busy but someone brought me a little plate of watermelon with a smile while I waited. So sweet! Def try the cheese grits!!”
“First time here at Katana Sushi. The reviews were awesome so we had to try it out. The wife ordered Kenny and Tuna Love. I ordered Tuna Love, Melvin Roll and 2 pieces of fatty tuna. Service was just as amazing as the sushi. Food was extremely fresh and delicious. Service was quick and very friendly. We will absolutely be back again soon!”
“Old Richmond steakhouse. Not the fanciest restaurant in Richmond located in an older strip mall with that said it's an institution. Been here forever. Good service great food and old Richmond atmosphere. Make sure I get reservations tables are hard to come by.”
“One of the best dining experiences we had in Richmond! Get the torte--your taste buds will thank you. Everything we tried was delicious. We really enjoyed talking to the owner, he is really friendly and helpful.”
“This is the most authentic underrated gem Mexican restaurant in Richmond. So next time you want real Mexican taco, quesadillas or other Entrees, this is the place. They do not spoil Mexican authenticity to impress customers. In case you love Americanized Mexican food, they still have that as separate 'tex-mex' option. So in short, if you love Mexican food, whether authentic or not, you will get both here. You can collect your sauce from buffet counter, so you can take as much as you need, do not need to ask again and again. The available sauces are so delicious. Can't wait to visit again.Parking: Free empty parking lot. Always you will get parking.Kid-friendliness: Yes, family friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes accessible.”
“I love coming here, they’re efficient and I love the option of Hot Pot and BBQ…it’s the best! The waiter/waitress explains everything so you’re comfortable in your food decisions.”
“Great French food if you have the money! Sorry, the only pictures I took we the sorbet and the apricot tart!Vegetarian options: Available but not featuredDietary restrictions: GF, GFO, and V clearly labeled.Parking: Lots of free parking!Wheelchair accessibility: Easy wheelchair access”
“This is an awesome little find on Midlothian Turnpike. All of the pastries were outstanding, and the coffee was amazing. To make the experience even better, the staff are very warm and welcoming. Most definitely will back again.”
“Always delicious and amazing! Love that the rangoons are just cream cheese. It's so hard to find the non fake crab ones and I'm allergic to that. So I love this option! The bowls are to die for. And the mochi donuts are everything.”
“Excellent food with great service, but I couldn't figure out how to get the jukebox to work. The milkshakes were stand out, but the portions were enormous. We were both absolutely stuffed after having a burger and shake a piece, and my wife couldn't quite finish her fries.”
“Super cute place with great tea! I branched out from my usual for a strawberry milk tea and strawberry jelly, which the staff let me try (and I'd never had before). They were so friendly and it was delicious! REALLY fresh tasting. We got recommended this place by the owner of Poke Me upstairs (they promote each other) and he said they cut fresh fruit every single day for their teas- I could tell! Definitely worth a visit if you like bubble tea :)”
“The food is so delicious. The staff are incredibly kind and patient. The drinks are also now my favorite here in Richmond. 100% recommend. Thank you for the good food!!!”
“Such a great experience at A Kitchen, service was top notch, food was so tasty, large portions, and great prices. My son and husband also enjoyed the Boba tea. So happy to have found this little gem.”
“Part of me wants to lie and say it was horrible to avoid not being able to get a table for future visits. Staff was absolutely amazing, service was top notch and the food was amazing!”
