“We arrived around noon on a Sunday in February. We were greeted promptly and were allowed to pick our own table. It was fairly busy but there were several tables open. It is deceiving from the exterior, because it’s actually a nice ambience with, by gosh, real tablecloths. There is a nice bar area and then a couple of separate areas with tables. Our waitress was prompt and friendly. Service was good and the food was delivered in a reasonable amount of time. For lunch, my spouse ordered the Sailor sandwich, and I ordered the Cuban. The Sailor came stuffed with pastrami, knockwurst and baby swiss on rye. The Cuban had slow roasted pulled pork, Virginia pit ham, smoked provolone, dill pickles and dijonnaise. Both were tasty but the Sailor was the winner – that knockwurst knocked it out of the park! The french fries were lightly breaded, and they were hot and delicious. Prices are average for the area. Highly recommend!”

“Probably the best brisket in the city. Tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Pairs up perfectly with any of the homemade BBQ sauces. Unforbidden Fruit BBQ sauce sweetened with apples is unique and is definitely a prize winning sauce.Burnt Ends were also very good. No sauce needed on those.More of a take out atmosphere, but there is some seating inside and a few tables outside. Worth staying on site to eat your food fresh and hot off the chopping block. Highly recommended when you need to get your BBQ fix.”

“Devil's Lettuce is a fantastic all Vegan restaurant. The staff is friendly, the space is bright and cheerful (there is a pet picture photo wall which is adorable), and more importantly, the food is delicious. I am not a vegan, but this is the type of vegan restaurant that inspires a change in dietary preference as the dishes are so good that you forget you are eating vegan. I absolutely loved the dank nuggs with seasoned fries and the fajitas burrita (I got those to go for dinner) and the Fiesta fries for eating there. Portion sizes are good, and I had to stop myself from overeating my Fiesta fries and take a bit of them home. There are special events and menu items that appear over time - which is also really neat - like a taco bell menu recreation day. “Super cute place with great tea! I branched out from my usual for a strawberry milk tea and strawberry jelly, which the staff let me try (and I'd never had before). They were so friendly and it was delicious! REALLY fresh tasting. We got recommended this place by the owner of Poke Me upstairs (they promote each other) and he said they cut fresh fruit every single day for their teas- I could tell! Definitely worth a visit if you like bubble tea :)”
