“Out of all the choices that exist in this area (so many), we decided upon Lickinghole Creek on our way back home from vacation. What a great choice! Beautiful country views, nice bartender who let us try several samples, and a delicious food truck (Wumami) with top notch wings and smash burgers. We lucked into a special reserve new edition and took a bottle home. Loved the location , logo Tshirt (kudos to your label and logo designer), beer options, kids play area, and the overall experience.”

“I was in Powhatan so looked for Mexican food restaurants. I tried Rodeos. I have to admit that the outside almost made me turn away. It was a little scary looking for a single woman. Fortunately I was there at 1 on a weekday for lunch, so I gave it a try.
The food was better than average, but not the best Mexican that I have had. The salsa they give you when you sit down was very mild. I prefer medium heat. I judge Mexican restaurants by their Chile Verde. So I ordered it. I was served a red sauce instead of the verde sauce. The pork was very tender and the seasoning on it was good. The red sauce was too bland. But then I was expecting the verde sauce, which is spicier. They did bring me their homemade hot sauce. It had a good flavor, but was too hot for me. I mixed it with the mild salsa and it was perfect. The refried beans were well seasoned. The service outside of the mixup in what I ordered was good.
There is a better Mexican restaurant in the area, so not sure I will be back, but I might.”

“We discovered this Wonderful Italian treasure on our travels. The Best Italian delicacies I have had in years. We live about 40 minutes from Goochland. Wish we were closer, but the food is worth stopping whenever we are in area. Most Authentic, true tasting Italian sauce, meatballs, steak rolls etc. Owned by great friendly people, you will think you are in Italy!!”

“It's a small restaurant, and even though there is low staff they finish the sushi very quickly considering! I got a Caterpillar roll, it was really good, and the people who work here are friendly. It was clean and tidy inside as well. Most people seem to do takeout but there's plenty of seats if you want to sit down with a group of 4 or 5, dining is more on the casual side.”

“It was a beautiful day to sit outside. The lunch menu had plenty to choose from. The portions were great. They are K-9 friendly inside or out.

We were there today. Sat outside again with the K9. Service was great. The lunch menu with plenty of choices and reasonable prices. Try the shrimp me fun or beef and vegetables. Whether eat in or take out same great taste. I think the eat in portions are larger than take out portions.
Plenty of parking any time of day.”
