After Hungry Dragon closed on Lauderdale, I was pretty down in the dumps on finding a good replacement Chinese takeout go-to in Short Pump (I am too far away from Cheng Du). Then, one day, a flyer for Yu's China Bistro shows up in the mailbox. Hmmm. Something new. Worth trying? Later that week, my son said he was tired of Friday Night Pizza Night, and why don't we go for Chinese takeout? So, that's what we did. This was my second visit within one week. The food was absolutely amazing! I ordered the Lo Mein with Beef BOTH times I visited. The egg rolls are divine! I cannot say enough about how great the food was!!! The service was quiet, but that's perfectly fine. This is not a chain restaurant, so the food will knock you out -- and the price is really low for the amount of food you will get. I have lived here for years and regret I have not patronized Yu's Bistro before. Shame...read full review
