Restaurants in Glen Allen

“We ordered a large amount of sushi for our Christmas Eve party. Everything was ready when we came to pick it up, very professional. The food was amazing as usual, the presentation was beautiful. Thank you so much for such a memorable meal.”

“My daughter and I had dinner there tonight and it was AMAZING!!! The food. The atmosphere. The staff. It was an all great experience.”

“Good customer service.”

“After lots of planning, we celebrated my sister's 50th birthday party here this past weekend.... it was a pleasure working with Kristin & Rachel as both were hands-on from start to finish. You two are ROCK STARS! The venue, staff and food exceeded our expectations. (bonus shout out to the all female staff on event day! #girlpower iykyk) And most importantly, my sister was happy as family and friends traveled near and far for a memorable experience for her special birthday. We are grateful. Thank YOU, Bartizan & team!”

“Sarah was our bartender tonight. Awesome !”

“Great food , great service”

“We stayed here in our RV through Harvest Host but we're only two hours from home and would honestly consider making this a day trip. It's a great spot that's very convenient to the highway. We each had a flight and really enjoyed the wine so we bought several bottles to take home. We sat outside at a firepit because it was an unreasonably warm March afternoon, but the inside has plenty of ambience as well. Definitely worth a stop!”

“Love this place ❤️ My son and daughter in law took me here for my birthday on 9/21. Had the shrimp stuffed with crabmeat. OMG It was delicious.”

“Great food and cocktails. Decent beer selection too.”

“My friend and I dined here tonight. We had a great experience. Cohen, our server, was outstanding! He made sure we had drinks, checked on us multiple times, seeing as how busy it was there. He had a smile on his face every time he came to the table. Our food was delivered to our table in a reasonable time no long wait at all.”

“Just EVERYTHING ❣️❣️❣️❣️ the staff are the BEST!!!”

“Great and friendly customer service! Great fusion pizzas. I had the Arabian Chicken Shawarma!! Tasty.”

“It was very good service was excellent and they do give you a lot for your money. It is not expensive at all. Go try them out”

“My daughter and I had dinner there tonight and it was AMAZING!!! The food. The atmosphere. The staff. It was an all great experience.”

“Great food, fun staff and live music!”

“Great food! Friendly staff! Guyanese food is the best if you haven’t tried it or don’t know about it!”

“We had a 6th birthday party on a Saturday around noon for about 30 people total. We were able to reserve tables with ease using the online form. They also provided party packages (for food) to make ordering easy for bigger groups.

The food came out hot and fresh (and on time!) The staff were incredibly kind and helpful.

I would highly recommend Intermission for your party spot!”

“Kevin was GREAT!! We called in advance about food prep and when we got there and he was our waiter. They were busier than usual Kevin kept us informed that was a plus.”

“I had seen an ad that they had a burger & a side for $10. I had to go check their lunch out. Normally I don't go to a steakhouse for lunch, but yhe price pulled me in. I ordered a half pound burger, and to my surprise I was able to add a side salad too! My server NATE was polite, professional, and helpful. He brought me out the best loaf of bread i've ever had at a steakhouse! The burger was out of this world good! The salad was large, with bleu cheese dressing that I ordered. It was fantastic! All of their dressings are made in house. There were plenty of chunks of bleu cheese in it. I could barely eat all of ot but I couldn't stop! All this for $10.99? You can't eat at any fast food place for that! They're my new lunch place!”

“Always a favorite and um 63!!!!”

“Omg!! The piano player (Steve), is amazing!!!! The shrimp quesadilla was greasy. However, Steve made up for it ?”

“We visited Sushi Kingdom last night AMAZING!! First of all, the building is beautifully decorated Alex, was absolutely THE BEST. He spent so much time at our table explaining the menu, And the fact that he laughed at Joe’s jokes all night? customer service 😂👏🏽 The food was delicious —Jah crushed his plate so fast I couldn’t even get pictures! That alone tells you how good it was. Great service. Great food. Great atmosphere. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!”

“Peter changs is the most authentic Chinese restaurant that I know of. a close second would be Full Kee on horsepin off of broad. but P.Cheng's is a combo of traditional grandma like made hot pots with a twist of today to some beautifully created food art type appatisers. the scallion bubble packed is a delightfully fun munch. we ordered peking duck for take-out tonight. my husband will drive across town to get it as we are in Midlothian. the online order menue is not working. the price listed is 35.00. However the menue will not allow me to even register or order. I called we were told the price of the dish is 65.00$$$! we have pking duck 1/yr on NYE and it's my favorite Chinese Dish . so we bit the bullet and ordered. when we asked about the price difference we were told something that y'all should know.... we were told ...oh. we rais our prices around Christmas! Well thanx PETER CHANG. This better be the Best pking duck I could even imagine. This is what you think of your customers SMH.. I'm not sure that I will continue dinning with you in the future. what a shame. such good food and during the Christmas season most places offer something special to show appreciation to their patrons. But your establishments behavior reminds me od a certain Character in Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. lol interesting that the Walt Disney version of this story Scrooge I'd played by a Duck... 😆😅🤣😂 I'll report back after my husband returns with this golden dinner.”

“Did online order pickup it took a bit before someone acknowledged 3 of us standing there to pickup our orders 5 workers passed right by the pickup area atleast let whoever is manning the area know instead of all the ignoring”

“Run, don't walk to Con Salsa! Seriously great food. Each order made fresh. The bowls are phenomenal and the arepas and empanadas are the best we've ever had. And the sauces...OMG the sauces. The garlic and the red sauce are honestly some of the best condiments I've tasted. Thankfully, they sell the sauces too! I do wish there was indoor seating as it is getting colder, but they were doing a brisk takeout business when we were there. Do yourself a favor and try Con Salsa. Everything we have tried is amazing.”

“Someone gave us a gift card to Crumbl so we tried it. Their oreo cream cookie is really good. It's a nice novelty to try, but kinda expensive. We got the 12 mini cookies for $30.”

“The pizza was great. Like it a lot. Only negative was that my pizza wasn’t fully cooked. Some of the slices were warm but underneath the melted cheese it was literally doughy. Other than that very good!”

“Great breakfast, lunch sandwiches are great!!”

“We ordered Q Barbeque from the Glen Allen location for my daughter’s graduation party. This restaurant has the absolute nicest most helpful employees. The food was phenomenal. Everyone raved about how good it was and the price was so reasonable for the large amount we ordered. We barely had anything left everyone devoured it. Thanks Q barbeque!”

“Delicious food & friendly staff definitely going to be a regular spot for me!”

“Amazing service and her customer service is by far the best. She make customers wanting to return.”

“Food is amazing and fresh!! We found our new spot!!”

“Was walking the pups in the area and looked up places nearby I could sit outside with them and eat. I had a panini which was excellent but they are known for their wraps. The owner recommended the philly wrap as his favorite but the chicken ceaser wrap went viral and is wildly popular. He is very personable and kind. Offered me water and bowls for my pups. All in all it's a great lunch or breakfast stop!”

“The food was amazing and friendly service!”

“Literally the best food around. Everything is always amazing and the staff is so nice!!”

“So good! I'm vegan and there are numerous vegan options. I've had a vegan minty Milkshake, vegan protein pancakes and a vegan taco breakfast meal. All were some of the best food/drink I've ever had. Cool vibes. One of my favorite restaurants 😍 I attended the location in Tysons Corner”

“The Sushi was delicious! The packaging of the to go order was thoughtful and there was A LOT of sushi!”

“Great & friendly service, amazing flavors. Extremely well run establishment as seen through the friendly staff and quick service.”

“This place is the absolute best in the Richmond surrounding area. The owner is really nice and his food is amazing. The amount of food you get for the price is another reason to come here. The cheesesteak is one of the bests I’ve ever had. I ordered an 8 inch and he gave me a 12 inch. I could easily split this up into 3 meals. Go support local business and enjoy 😍”

“We traveled from Midlothian to get breakfast, after seeing a post about this food truck. can I say so worth the trip.”

“My family ate here for the first time tonight! The food was wonderful and the servers were awesome!! We will definitely return!! Highly recommend!!”

“Food was excellent and so was the server Owner was very attentive as well”

“I ordered the Sicilian pizza for take-out, so service and atmosphere are really not important. However, as part of service, when I called in the order, it was very cheerfully taken, and they called me when it was ready. I like Sicilian pizza very much, but it's usually rather dry. This was anything but. The cheese is great, but the sauce is fantastic. I'd say it's the BEST Sicilian pizza I've ever had. I'm from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania originally, home of pan-fried Sicilian (which is a different thing altogether). But for lovers of very traditional Sicilian, I'd highly recommend this!”

“Went for the 1st time tonight with a group of friends and I had a great time ! The Karaoke was very entertaining ! The owner has done a great job ! I will definitely be back and I will let other friends know as well !!!”

“Give the is tavern your business. Seriously impressed with our waitress tonight and the entire team. We walked in at 8pm after a soccer game with 20 people. We were welcomed in, sat and out by 9:30pm. Just amazing service overall and the food was great! Next time we are back for Jeff Cup we will be back. Thank you for taking care of us tonight!”

“Good food and friendly staff!”

“Got the Hawaiian BBQ Mix. Absolute homerun. Takeout was done in 5 minutes”

“Great food and incredibly friendly people!! Love this place!!”

“We came here all the way from Fredericksburg, VA to try out this place and it did not disappoint. The service was speedy and it’s a friendly environment and it’s decorated for fall. We will definitely come back for more.”

“Went to Chen's for lunch today and the food was excellent as usual. Haven't been in years as I live in Chesterfield, but while working in Innsbrook ordered from there for years. It was nice to be greeted warmly, service was prompt and attentive and my Moo Shu Pork was a walk down memory lane. Delicious. Will definitely go again soon.”

“Gyros were delicious Service was excellent !”

“The food here is excellent.”

“My son and I love it here. The food is great! Our burgers are always delicious, unlimited fries is awesome, añd the shakes are yum! service can be a bit slow bringing refills but overall, I highly recommend it.”

“We visited this place on Thanksgiving Day Nov 27, 2025. The meal was AWESOME, food well prepared and service was quick and proficient. We like the atmosphere, everyone was very friendly and helpful. We plan to pock another date and go back for breakfast as the breakfast menu was great with much variety. Well worth anyone trying and we know you will be back!”

“Place was not good, Burger 🍔 was tasty but expensive. Recommend to those people who wants to try for once.”

“In love with this restaurant 🤤🤤🤤”

“Saira and Brenda and The Entire Staff is Amazing! The Food was Hot, Correct, Additional condiments were provided, and the Vanilla Cinnamon Cafe AU Lait was sooooo good.
Hospitality by far the Best I’ve seen in Richmond during breakfast time and they were busy.”

“Amazing owner and staff!!! Most delicious Italian food!!! 10 out of 10 for Jeff and I. Family owned, can't wait to try the Hillsboro, NC location!”

“Food, service, and atmosphere at the Glen Allen location (only one I have experienced) is outstanding! Best Mexican meals we have had anywhere!!! Lola was a fabulous server!”

“Aubrey and Cyrus were amazing! Aubrey was very patient with all of the mix-ins I asked for, and the smoothie was perfect. I also witnessed them serve an order of what had to have been 15-20 smoothies/bowls for a large group (who were very appreciative!) and I was impressed with how well they handled it! Very pleased with my experience today”

“Oooooooo. Mmmmmmmmm. G!! This pizza is amazing. I met the boss lady today. Told her this place is amazing because of Victoria!! Great person, pizza maker, customer service connoisseur, etc etc. The Queen strikes again. Ty for always being a shining light and giving out great experiences. Bout ready to dive in!!”

“Love the food and the service”

“This is one of my go to Mexican restaurants in RVA. The chips and salsa are delicious. Fajitas are one of the best. Portions are a lot and in high quality. One fajita is enough for two. I highly recommend this restaurant.”

“Yum! The Rocket is a must.”

“Great salads prepared quickly with very fresh ingredients. The staff is great; friendly, quick service when you are in a hurry.”

“Amazing food and service! Definitely my go to spot now for cheesesteaks and wings! Strawberry lemonade is a MUST!”

“great atmosphere, friendly servers, food was worth every penny and dollar. The lamb chops and spinach 😋 we will definitely comeback.”

“Great fresh food! Will be back.”

“The best Peruvian chicken I've had at any restaurant so far”

“All I can say is we're visiting less and less as the prices at Five Guys have gone up significantly across the board. No complaints on the food. Just be prepared to pay a premium, in case you aren't already aware.”

“The restaurant staff was nice, and the food was decent. The reason for the 3 stars is due to them being out of coleslaw, but this was understandable as we arrived at 11pm. I would still recommend this restaurant if you want some Canes. Again the staff was so helpful and apologized for the wait time and lack of coleslaw”

“We stopped in for an ice cream to cool down after shopping. There are only 2 tables indoors. Luckily we came at an off time so we walked right in, got our treats, sat down and enjoyed!”

“Nice place met the GM… nice guy”

“Wonderful catering and food. LOVE the staff!! Highly recommend!”

“We love Domoishi! The poke bowls are super good - with all sorts of choices to make your fave.”

“I went there for the first time. I The food was delicious! A young lady named Sammy was my server, she did a fabulous job! She’s the reason why I would gladly go back.”

“DAMON TRENT AND JAMES TRICE ARE THE WORKERS WE NEED THERE THEY ABSOLUTELY TURN THE PLACE AROUND AND I LOVED THE FOOD NOW AFTER YEARS OF BE DISAPPOINTED I MUST SAY THE FOOD COMES OUT HOT FRESH AND WELL SEASONED!!!! Definitely what we all been waiting for and missing good job guyssss”

“Great dinner last night on their soft opening. Chicken wings excellent, pizza bowl really good too, very friendly, great customer service”

“Amazing design AND taste!! Kelley made 3 golf-themed cakes for our birthday weekend. The large cake was a 3-tier golf "Caddy Shack" cake. EVERYTHING was edible, including the gopher ;). I hope Kelley will post a photo of the cake/s, since it won't let me do it here.”

“Perfect performance venue with the best audience on the planet.”

“2 pepper spicy Kao Pad Basil is 🔥! Staff was friendly and my food arrived about 10 mins after ordering, piping hot. I will definitely be returning.”

“The food was just about the best I've ever had at an IHOP, so kudos to the chef. The service was also exceptional. Allen was attentive without being constantly in your face. Truly exceptional.”

“everytime I come to this location they're so incredibly nice and welcoming. one lady always makes me laugh at the drive thru. today they were super kind and made me feel very special for my birthday! wish I had caught everyone's names! thank you all!”

“Muy rico todo 👍🏼😉 y no esperamos mucho tiempo eso me gusta Las personas son amables por ser mi primera ves en este lugar me quedaron ganas de regresar”

“It's 5 starts relative to fast food, but that's not talking down to it. Go get yourself the barbeque tray with slaw and hot sauce. Rotate your sides around to try everything out, but getting a corn dog as a side is a must. Don't sleep on the Cheerwine float either. Thank me later.”

“Grabbed dinner here by myself on a Monday evening (in town for work) and it was empty so service was friendly and quick! I got the combo platter with chicken and lamb with spicy sauce (which was soooo good - great kick and flavorful without being so spicy that it interferes with your meal) and did two half sides of a salad and hummus - but these were both plentiful for being halves. Pita bread also comes with it. The meat flavor was excellent- great flavor on its own and elevated to the next level when dipped in the hot sauce. Loved the hummus as well with a little hit sauce mixed in.

And they had an NA beer from Egypt which I have never seen before at a restaurant that didn't have a liquor license but it was a great pairing!

All of this for $26 which is not much more than a meal at Chipotle runs you these days, and so much better. I'll definitely be returning when I'm back in town.”

“I've said this before, but I'm not a huge fan of crowds. That being said, a live dj and line dancing is fun. All the bartenders have been here a while and know what they're doing. Definitely coming back later.”

“Very good food and staff is so friendly!' will be back!' Thank you for the delicious food and excellent atmosphere!!' And always consistent with their food always good!!☺”

“The customer service was outstanding.”

“The crew here is consistently warm, welcoming, and helpful. I ordered a couple sandwiches recently and when I got the bag (freaky fast) I realized I ordered the wrong size for one of them. They not only read my reaction but fixed it for me, on the spot at no extra charge even though it was completely my fault. That is S Tier service right there!”

“We got our first cake here for my daughter's first birthday and it was beyond amazing! The cake was beautiful and it tasted so good! Heather is so talented and we will definitely be going here every year! Highly recommend!!”

“I wanted a specialty cake made. I sent Marie a picture and it was even better than the picture. The cake was absolutely delicious. I love to support small businesses.”

“I am so serious when I say the BLT I just received from here is the best BLT I have ever consumed. It genuinely moved the benchmark for me in what I should expect from other sandwich places. Rhi, thank you for your service + skill behind the counter!”

“I have ordered from Potbelly so many times, and I can tell you they have not disappointed me even once. Their salads are amazing, as are their sandwiches. I have ordered the farmhouse salad multiple times and it is always perfect. My favorite sandwich is a toss up between the chicken club and the sweet heat bbq. I honestly cannot recommend them enough!”

“Great place to eat nice staff great food good choices of food”

“I loved this place!! I love coming to local restaurants because they always have the best food!! I came for my 15th birthday on vacation and it was just so so yummy!! 5 star!”

“Great food and great service.”

“assistant manager there Austin is awesome”

“It’s incredible...probably the best Indian food in Richmond. Maybe some of the best...period. Chicken 65 and butter chicken are insanely good.”

“I really enjoyed my self there first time being there.i will go there again.”

“Very friendly staff, they show kindness and patience with my young daughter who is learning to order herself and making their shelves a little less organized as she makes her selection”

“Over all a good experience and fairly priced. On a busy weekend the tables get a fair bit sticky and there can be a mess, but it's understandable with the volume of people passing through with kids.”

“Unfortunately this location is very inconsistent. Shame on us for continuing to order after several inaccurate orders that were reported through surveys and acknowledged, but we had hope that those were one offs. When they are good, they are good. But when they are bad, it's so random as to how bad they are. I've had the occasional sauces (paid extra) forgotten all the way to ordering a vegetarian pizza only to have it arrive with chicken on it. I then even let them get me two times back to back where I ordered the heavily advertised hot honey (also paid extra for this extra) and didn't get it either time. The last straw, ordered at 10:30pm, received a notification at 11:15pm (email) that my pizza was on the way. At 12:18am it was delivered. I am completely aware that it was obviously a very busy night. However, my food rode around in a car for at least an hour, and it showed. That's a problem. I confess that we have ordered once since then but it was going in knowing that it would likely suck. And while it came as ordered, and in a timely manner, it's no where near the quality it was when this location first opened and hasn't been in a very long time.”

“Fast and friendly service. Our waitress was great!”

“Went in earlier for a sammich and they told me it would be a 2 minute wait for the bread because they ran out. They apologized a bunch...but I am SO okay with waiting 2 minutes for fresh bread straight from the oven! Hell yeah! So I sat down happily to wait and they insisted on giving me a free drink for waiting. I even tried to turn it down because I don't mind waiting at all, but they insisted...so awesome! I grew up a mile from the Jersey Mike's in Bon Air and ate there at least twice a week from the day they opened. I was ALWAYS more than happy there and I still go back occasionally when I go to my grandparents house...the Short Pump location is every bit as excellent. I'm 25 minutes away so I don't eat there as often as I'm used to, but until one opens in Montpelier I will make do with the Short Pump location. Thanks guys!”

“Just had to make this review after pulling out the drive thru. They seriously beat Chick Fil A speeds during morning rush! There were like 6 or 7 cars in front of me and we all got through in 3 minutes. That was incredible lol.”

“EMILY WAS A QUEEN!!!! a huge group of us came in and she was so on top of everything and didn’t even mess anything up!!!! will be returning because of her!!!!! ice cream was great too but emily was better! def will be back”

“yummy food fantastic 👏 great staff”

“The biggest downside is the traffic surrounding these restaurants. I'm surprised no one has been hurt. If you want to find in it's usually getting past a gamut of impatient drive thru customers. I like the food and service is great but I've chosen elsewhere many times because of the traffic that you have to get through especially with a couple of young kids. I think this has been the same at every chick-fil-a, I'm sure too much traffic is a good problem to have.
UPDATE: THE TRAFFIC SITUATION WAS FIXED! I no longer feel as if I'm placing mine and my kids lives into jeopardy just walking into this place. They rerouted the drive through traffic and the entrance is clear of traffic. Very nice! Thank you.”

“They will always get my money for that delicious iced white chocolate mocha I literally go nowhere else for it. It’s that good every single time. Service can be a little slow, but hey… you can’t rush deliciousness. Totally worth the wait! ☕️”
