“We stayed the night here as Harvest Host guests. We knew we were going to be cutting it close to their closing time so we called ahead and ordered 3 bottles of wine to pick after arrival. We got there just minutes after closing and Blair greeted us with kindness and asked if we would like to purchase any snacks to go with our wine or to swap out one of the bottles for one that was already chilled. We were reluctant because we knew that they had just closed and they were trying to finish up for the evening. She reassured us that it was fine and we were able to get some delicious local made snacks to go and a chilled bottle of wine. What excellent customer service! We truly enjoyed the bottle of rose’ that evening with friends we made that were also staying as Harvest Host guests. Thank you James River Cellars and Blair for your wonderful hospitality!”

I only want this flatbread, and no other.

Hearty strips of red bell pepper, green bell pepper, and sweet onions.

On the most robust fire roasted tomato sauce I’ve ever had.

Oh, the cheese was melted perfectly, and there was plenty of it.

All on top of a crisp flatbread that was seriously just the right thickness.

It paired beautifully with the chilled red blend I enjoyed with it.

And my husband was thrilled with his flatbread as well. He ordered the Italian sausage variety, with a Potter’s Petite Cider - chilled nicely, of course.

From the moment we walked into Intermission Brewery, we were made to feel welcome by the bartender. He was also our server, and he was fast and friendly. I didn’t catch his name, but he was joking with us, which we appreciated.

As for parking, it was simple and straightforward. We parked right next to the entrance. There was a larger group of people at one table when we arrived. I know that Intermission holds meet-ups for groups, which is great.

There was also a family with an elementary school age child. They were playing some sort of cards or board game. I thought it was wonderful that this establishment was family friendly. There’s such a chill atmosphere, I think people just enjoy themselves here.

My husband and I can’t wait to go back! Intermission holds a “Date Night” special each and every Friday this summer. Be sure to check out their Facebook page. They keep it updated frequently with events and news.”

“I dont write many reviews and if I do its because it was really bad or really good, this place is the BEST hotdog place I ever been to, ive eaten a many hotdogs in backyard bbq and whatever events and those are always the best but joeys tops it off, i see why they have been open for so many decades. I got the joey dog and bratwurst, the dogs themselves had such a good taste you cant find anywhere else and the toppings (chili, mustard, kraut) were fresh and tasty, the place itself is as I would say “fun” it reminds me of an old diner, you have the cooking going on right in front with barstools to eat and some small tables, the staff are very nice and welcoming it felt like I knew them for over a hundred years. Overall delicious and great place to go will recommend and return.”

“I’m born and raised in Philadelphia. While growing up I made cheesesteaks and hoagies at many places in Philly. Ive been to every legit cheesesteak shop in Philly. (No, Pats and Genos are not legit cheesesteaks) A friend asked me to come here and give it a review. I got the cheesesteak and Italian hoagie. Let’s talk about it, the cheesesteak is by far the best cheesesteak I’ve had in Richmond and this is coming from a Philly food snob. This cheesesteak gets a 9/10 for Richmond. The Italian hoagie was solid and gets a 6.5/10 for Richmond. The only weak link is the hoagie rolls. While they get Philly rolls, it would be impossible for them to get them fresh daily. Most cheesesteak/hoagie shops here in Richmond wouldn’t stay in business for a month in Philly, but this place would compete. And with a fresh Amoroso or Sarcone’s rolls they would be in the discussion of being among the top spots. I highly recommend this cheesesteak if you’re in Richmond.”

“While visiting the area, I wanted to try something we don't have back home. Alohahola was great choice! The website was easy to use and the pictures/descriptions were helpful when selecting items. After ordering online, I headed to the restaurant where my food was ready in the most adorable bag.
The snow coconut chicken was delicious and the rice and macaroni salad made for tasty sides. I also ordered the crispy spam musubi - fabulous!
I should also mention that I only ate about 1/3 to 1/2 of the meal because there was SO MUCH!

It’s always tasty and hot and the staff always takes such good care of us :) We can honestly say we have never had a bad meal here in the almost 3 years we’ve been going. “It's a hole in the wall restaurant in a strip mall. No atmosphere to speak of. The food presentation gives the impression of a few steps above fast food. They have hit the bulls eye! The food is delicious and plentiful. I got the felafel platter; enough for 2 meals. It wasn't the lunch special, so maybe the lunch portion is smaller. The desserts seem to be standard Sysco fare. It filled up quickly during lunch, so it's a popular place. I will definitely go back when I'm out that way.”

“Chuy’s in Short Pump is awesome, the food was hot and very delicious. Both myself and my wife really enjoyed our lunch. About a week later we ordered and had it delivered to our house and the food was hot when it arrived. The $33 6 taco deal had a lot of food and is well worth it.

Shame on us for continuing to order after several inaccurate orders that were reported through surveys and acknowledged, but we had hope that those were one offs. When they are good, they are good. But when they are bad, it's so random as to how bad they are. I've had the occasional sauces (paid extra) forgotten all the way to ordering a vegetarian pizza only to have it arrive with chicken on it. I then even let them get me two times back to back where I ordered the heavily advertised hot honey (also paid extra for this extra) and didn't get it either time. The last straw, ordered at 10:30pm, received a notification at 11:15pm (email) that my pizza was on the way. At 12:18am it was delivered. I am completely aware that it was obviously a very busy night. However, my food rode around in a car for at least an hour, and it showed. That's a problem. I confess that we have ordered once since then but it was going in knowing that it would likely suck. And while it came as ordered, and in a timely manner, it's no where near the quality it was when this location first opened and hasn't been in a very long time.”

“We hadn't been to an IHOP in a while and were very effectively lured in by the promise of $5 all-you-can-eat pancakes. We ended up getting a round of coffees and doing "2 x 2 x 2" meals; two eggs, two pancakes, and your choice of two sausage links or bacon strips. As breakfast combos came with free pancakes, it was more of a "2 x 2 x ?" meal, which was nice. The bacon was crispy and wonderfully flavorful, the eggs were a glorious heap of deliciously cheesy fluffiness, and the pancakes were a beautiful golden brown and served piping hot with a generous dollop of honest to God butter on top. That they have four types of syrup you can choose from didn't hurt either (old fashioned kept on the table and blueberry, strawberry, and butter pecan by request). Our server was training another gal and they were both very polite, friendly, and attentive. They did a great job of making sure we had coffee, and creamer, and refills on our pancakes. It was a great experience and, as much as they lived up to their name and I came for the pancakes, I have to say that those eggs were just fantastic. We will be visiting again.”
