“We were taken to Carytown Indian Cuisine last night by our kids. We were so impressed with our experience! The food was amazing. I requested a specially prepared curry vegetable dish, and the chef/owner was happy to create it for me. Several of our party enjoyed tikki masala with chicken. We also enjoyed lentils, cooked to perfection and wonderful chocolate lava cake for dessert. The service was impecable. Our waiters were so attentive and responsive, even though it was a very busy night. The ambience was warm and classy. The chef/owner was so gracious and even visited us at our table. I can't wait to return to CIC.“

“We had a private dinner served to us by the 2 partners of Tulsi. They came to Vinnie and Rebecca’s beautiful yard and gave us a cooking experience we will all never forget. They cooked up some speciality meals that were perfect. Chicken, fresh vegetables from the gardens, very spicy mushrooms and of course nam . Everything was perfect! Please go to Tulsi and tell them we sent you!!“

“Maybe I need to try dine in. I've seen great reviews. I ordered the salmon saag to go, mild. There could be more salmon in it, but it is very tasty. A larger portion would have been nice to have a second meal or to share. The order was ready to go when I arrived and pleasantly handed over. No utensils, and perhaps that should be asked about in their ordering system. I was going straight home so it wasn't an issue but just wanted to let others know to ask for it if needed. I won't grade on atmosphere. It didn't look fancy like Jannat, but it's conveniently located to Firehouse Theater and I will be back.“

“Came here with my family, 5 of us. Got chicken 65, pepper chicken, chicken majestic and one veg starter (some spicy peanut thing, forgot the name), all of them good. The chicken tandoori is a must, don't skip it. Then chilli naan with chicken curry, and the chicken dum biryani. But the one you have to get is the Vijayawada boneless chicken biryani. I eat biryani all the time and I've never had one that good.

They have a bar too. Tried the chilli guava drink and ended up ordering a second one.

Went back the next morning because they do a weekend buffet - breakfast if you go early, lunch buffet after that. I did breakfast. Live dosa, poori, bunch of other stuff. And the masala tea - I was a little hungover and one sip basically fixed it. Not joking. Best tea I've had.

“We went to Richmond Honest on our way to Outerbanks. It was our first time trying out Honest outside of NJ. Growing up in Ahmedabad, India; honest was part of our our regular outings. I must say it was probably the best dining experience. From the quality of the food, freshness, flavors and on top of all these SERVICE was top class. We probably ordered half the menu items for our group of 12-14 and every single item was delivered right on time, taste to perfection and left us with wanting to get more. Compare to all other Honest outlets, Richmond location WINS hands down. I’m about 100 miles away but I’d love to visit this place specialy for their food and service. We had someone in group with dietary restrictions (Jain Food) and in fact their Jain food items were ridiculously awesome. Their on site manager is so friendly and all about service. This place runs because of people who work there. Go for it...!!!“

“Just discovered the most WONDERFUL Indian vegan restaurant: GOVINDA. Super delicious. Super cheap. A little hole in the wall off the beaten track with food made from a scratch by priests of the local Hindu Temple. And they donate and personally distribute food to the homeless in Richmond!
