“We were taken to Carytown Indian Cuisine last night by our kids. We were so impressed with our experience! The food was amazing. I requested a specially prepared curry vegetable dish, and the chef/owner was happy to create it for me. Several of our party enjoyed tikki masala with chicken. We also enjoyed lentils, cooked to perfection and wonderful chocolate lava cake for dessert. The service was impecable. Our waiters were so attentive and responsive, even though it was a very busy night. The ambience was warm and classy. The chef/owner was so gracious and even visited us at our table. I can't wait to return to CIC.“

“We had a private dinner served to us by the 2 partners of Tulsi. They came to Vinnie and Rebecca’s beautiful yard and gave us a cooking experience we will all never forget. They cooked up some speciality meals that were perfect. Chicken, fresh vegetables from the gardens, very spicy mushrooms and of course nam . Everything was perfect! “Holy cow, this is my new favorite place for matar paneer, my favorite Indian dish. We also got the lamb biryani and plain naan and it was so fresh and tasty. The mango lassi was perfect, too. And the little free dessert for picking up was a sweet surprise! We just picked up our order to go, but the inside was very cute and I would dine in too. The location is pretty convenient since I was able to pick up some quick groceries at the Kroger while I waited.“

“We went to Richmond Honest on our way to Outerbanks. It was our first time trying out Honest outside of NJ. Growing up in Ahmedabad, India; honest was part of our our regular outings. I must say it was probably the best dining experience. From the quality of the food, freshness, flavors and on top of all these SERVICE was top class. We probably ordered half the menu items for our group of 12-14 and every single item was delivered right on time, taste to perfection and left us with wanting to get more. Compare to all other Honest outlets, Richmond location WINS hands down. I’m about 100 miles away but I’d love to visit this place specialy for their food and service. We had someone in group with dietary restrictions (Jain Food) and in fact their Jain food items were ridiculously awesome. Their on site manager is so friendly and all about service. This place runs because of people who work there. Go for it...!!!“

We had food catered for three different events, with a wide variety of dishes served throughout the celebrations, and every single meal was absolutely delicious. “Just discovered the most WONDERFUL Indian vegan restaurant: GOVINDA. Super delicious. Super cheap. A little hole in the wall off the beaten track with food made from a scratch by priests of the local Hindu Temple. And they donate and personally distribute food to the homeless in Richmond!
