We decided to stop here for lunch and we are pleased!
We ordered the jalapeño poppers and two burgers.
The jalapeño poppers were stuffed full and super crispy.
Both burgers were cooked to the perfect medium rare temperature.
Madelyn was super friendly and attentive.
Great prices.

“Went to Hooked for the first time for my birthday. My husband and I went in a literal hour before they closed and we didn't feel rushed. Destiny was our waitress and so sweet and attentive. The drinks were strong, the food was awesome and fairly priced and I didn't feel rushed as I sat there and ate my 360 tower. We will definitely be back!“

All I want for my birthday is some of the delicious pub grub from The Cask Cafe, and a growler or two of selections from the world’s (and Richmond’s) greatest brews. Unfortunately, this will be via touch-free curbside pickup. I’d much rather sit at the bar and chat about the role of diacetyl in English pub bitters, or the varieties of Bohemian or Moravian hops available in commercial Czech lagers...but not this year. “I really love Harlym Blue’Z. It’s a smaller spot, which gives it a nice intimate and laid-back feel. The staff is friendly, the drinks are good, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. I especially love the music...they play a lot of 90s R&B, which is definitely my kind of vibe. They also keep things fun with karaoke and different activities throughout the week, so it’s not always the same experience every time you go. I’ve been more than once and I always end up having a good time. Definitely a nice little spot to relax, have a drink, listen to good music, and enjoy yourself.“

“I got the fish sandwich and it was hot and fresh. However, the lettuce was wilted and I am not a personal fan of shoestring fries because the get cold and limp to quickly. It was strange to find no Samuel Adams beers on tap at a Sanuel Adams establishments.

My server, Tabbi, was friendly and attentive she even took the opportunity to help me before the pushy customer that came in after me.

The music was a bit loud and only ESPN on all screens. I guess that's the usual for an airport bar.“

“Went here for an espresso martini, and maybe I had high expectations because it was a vodka bar, but it simply was not good! Tasted like vodka with plain coffee and that’s it. I didn’t even finish it, even though it came in a very small glass. Very disappointed.“

“We had a small wedding reception at OCB and while I would recommend it as a venue, I’d also recommend writing down exact details of what you want the event to go like. I don’t know if we ended up with inexperienced staff or just an odd night, but nothing really went like it should have. We were told two bartenders but there was only one, they didn’t seem to know when to bring out the food even though we said it was an open buffet, we asked them to serve slices of a cake from the back and instead they just placed it on a tray in the front and our guests had to slice and serve themselves. Every time we met with Bill he reassured us they’d done so many events and wedding there that they had it down pat, but it definitely didn’t seem like they did. On the whole, I’m still glad we had our reception there. The venue is awesome and the food is amazing! I’ve always heard great things about people using them as catering at other venues.“

“It's a dive bar where most people know each other's names. That's what makes it a staple in the community over there. One pool table so if you want some competition, go at night. Not really known for their food, it's a dive bar 🤷🏾. Nice people but if you're sensitive, just don't go lol“

“Emerald Lounge was our favorite food stop of the entire weekend. The decor is moody and tropical, the staff looked effortlessly cool, and honestly, I felt a little sexier just walking through the door. What a vibe.

We ordered the crab Rangoon empanadas, pork lumpia, and Baja fish tacos, and every single thing was delicious. But those empanadas deserve a moment. Two beautifully golden empanadas with a sauce so good I wanted to dive in and swim around in it. Give me a spoon and a bowl of that sauce and I would be perfectly happy. Paired with the crispy pastry and creamy crab filling? I’ll be dreaming about them.

The fish tacos had generous pieces of crispy fish on little corn tortillas, and the pork lumpia with chili sauce was another winner. Everything looked as good as it tasted, right down to the dishes it was served in. The portions were just right for us to share and try several things.

Two Miami Vices with a little coconut rum floated on top had me feeling very good about our decision to start the weekend here. We enjoyed it so much that we seriously considered coming back for dinner the next night.

Beautiful space, delicious food, and drinks that encouraged us to keep the night going. Already planning my next visit and my next order. Although those empanadas are absolutely coming back to the table.“

“My husband asked the bartender/head mixologist, Steve Yang, for a gin based dealer's choice and he made the most wonderful drink I've had in a long time. He called it "Some kind of wonderful" it had dill, yogurt, and some other stuff and tasted like some hard to find European candy. Awesome!“

The wonton soup was the best my mother has ever tasted…keep in mind, she’s traveled all over the world. The ginger dressing was so delicious, I asked the server if they sold it in bottles.
