“The food was hi quality , I was impressed first with how fresh the corn tortilla chips were without a bunch off grease, the guacamole had a pleasant spice to it and the salsa was fresh. The star of my meal were the pork tacos , the marinade was amazing! The side of plantains had some sea salt and were cooked to perfection , I like the ends a little burnt !
What made the atmosphere was our incredible waitress ALONDRA. She was very pleasant , answered all our questions , and she had a deep knowledge of the menu which helped us decide what to order. Alondra checked on us throughout each course to make sure we had everything we needed and she made the entire meal an unforgettable experience.“

The medium sized margarita was giant and a fair price, and not too sweet. You can find better but you'll pay double.

“OMG show out to this place ! I am in town visiting my brothers in law and we got here late at Friday around 11pm and we ordered food from Mayas restaurant at DoorDash. The food was still warm when we ate it. The flavor was amazing !! I loved the pancho villa burrito it was fantastic. My husband got the birria quesadilla and my brother in law got the steak torta. Everything was delicious and I highly recommend this place.“

“We catered a welcome dinner for our wedding for 90 guests through Jalapenos in Carytown. The event was at a local brewery. We ordered a wide variety of items including tortillas, fajitas, steak, chicken, rice, quesadillas, dip, and other items. All the food was extremely fresh and tasty, with great portions! It came right on time, and was set up perfectly! We received so many compliments on all the food, and people kept going back for seconds. Carlos and his team were such a pleasure to work with, and cared so much about the success of our event. We could not recommend them enough.“

“Stopped by in the middle of the night around 230-330 am. when they have their limited menu. Ordered a carne asada burrito and an all pastor taco . The burrito seemed small at first, specially for the price, but they definitely load it up with the beans and had a fair amount of meat. Although I would say they over salt stuff. Both al pastor and carne asada tasted average/ normal. If you are hungry in the middle of the night for something other than. Cook out or waffle house give them a try, just remember their menu is limited from like midnight until like 8 am .“

“Frida's is small, but they maximize the space, and it's very comfortable. Food is extremely fresh, portions are generous, and prices are fair. The margarita was strong, and I appreciated feeling like I got my money's worth for it. The tortilla bowl they make for salads is far better than the tortilla bowls at many other Mexican restaurants - you want to eat the entire bowl in addition to your salad. I only have two minor complaints. One, the chips are a bit thicker than many Mexican restaurants. I prefer the thinner ones, but that's just a personal preference, and Frida's chips are still very good. Two, the fajitas are huge, but they only give you two tortillas and charge you for additional. I don't mind being charged for additional tortillas, but when they only give you two to start with, it stings a little. Even three would be great. But, this stuff is minor compared to how good everything was. This was our first visit to Frida's, and we will definitely be back!“

“Let me just by far the best Birria tacos I’ve ever had. I’ve been there 3xs now and the consistency is amazing. Over the summer was my first experience and they had a homemade watermelon drink that was out of this world. Each time I go I get the Birria tacos and the broth is made perfect. Also, the rice is served in the broth which is very tasteful. No complaints and I’ll definitely continue to dine here.“
