The Sonora Taco is INCREDIBLE and my go-to is the Cochiloco burrito (really good portion for that one). The red and green sauces are both incredible and I’ve dipped most every menu item in both of them; you can’t go wrong at Cochiloco.“

“Casa del Branco was such a gem! The location right on the canal is adorable — I sat inside, and the space was beautifully decorated and full of charm. It’s definitely a cute spot for a date night or dinner with friends.

That said, the real highlight was the food. I ordered the margarita flight and had so much fun trying their specials — 10/10 experience if you can’t decide on just one flavor.

We started with the traditional queso and chips. It was good overall, just a little thick in consistency for my preference, but still tasty.

The absolute star of the night was the carne asada fries — perfection. You could truly taste the char from the grill on the meat, and the flavors were incredible. Easily my favorite dish.

We finished with the dynamite shrimp tacos and steak tacos, and both were so good. Every bite was packed with flavor.

The portions were generous — we ordered for two people and still had plenty left over. I truly enjoyed the entire meal and will absolutely be returning. Highly recommend!“

“It’s not much really to say other than Mexican Margaritas Bar & Grill is the real deal! From the amazing service down to the delicious food and tasty drinks, we had a very enjoyable experience. The arroz con steak is so good! The tortillas literally melted in my mouth. Even the chips and salsa are good. Two things to note: serving size is smaller than usual and it’s a little on the pricier side for TexMex but worth it. Will more than likely become a regular.“

The waitress check on us several times to make sure we ordered and received everything before the kitchen closed at 9:45pm. I do not normally enjoy the white sauce at any restaurant in Virginia. Although I am proud that it's a Virginia thing, so I at least try it. I loved the white sauce there! I believe I fell in love with white sauce that long ago Every white sauce I have had since then has been a disappointment and caused me to not like it. But I'm back home and I promise you that this is the best white sauce in Richmond!“

“The tacos are delicious, the service is friendly and the restaurant is clean. From the outside it looks bleak but I come for the food not the atmosphere. Try the Tripa, Lengua, or Carne Asada tacos and ask for the corn tortillas which are made fresh.“

“We catered a welcome dinner for our wedding for 90 guests through Jalapenos in Carytown. The event was at a local brewery. We ordered a wide variety of items including tortillas, fajitas, steak, chicken, rice, quesadillas, dip, and other items. All the food was extremely fresh and tasty, with great portions! It came right on time, and was set up perfectly! We received so many compliments on all the food, and people kept going back for seconds. Carlos and his team were such a pleasure to work with, and cared so much about the success of our event. We could not recommend them enough.“

I accidentally ordered some food on my mobile app on Halloween day and called to speak to a manager to see how to go about getting my order canceled. Mr Jose answer the phone and had a better idea he told me to go inside the store speak to the manager and let them know that I've talked to him personally and see if they will help me get my order at the correct location in Chester. If it wasn't for Mr Jose's quick thinking and his wonderful customer service skills I don't think I would have been able to have qdoba's that night because I really did not want to ride all the way back to Richmond. “La Milpa has delicious authentic Mexican cuisine. The food is well seasoned and served quickly. Ordering maybe a bit of a challenge for a non-native Spanish speaker but the staff is friendly. The atmosphere is very rustic but that is part of the charm.“

“I have been coming to Kahlo's for about three years now and I have to say that it is consistently the friendliest service in Church Hill.

It also has some of the best homemade Latin-inspired food in town. I love that they make so much of the food, including the chips, in-house. You can taste the authenticity!

The new Happy Hour is a very welcome addition. From $5 wines to $4 beers and always chips and salsa with it, you can't beat the deal.

The weekend brunch is some of my favorite food. Everything from the breakfast bowl to the breakfast burrito or just getting a side of California fries is all excellent.

And of course my favorite thing on the menu always is the authentic Lengua. Either in a torta, burrito or something else. It's slow-braised and cooked to perfection.

“Let me just by far the best Birria tacos I’ve ever had. I’ve been there 3xs now and the consistency is amazing. Over the summer was my first experience and they had a homemade watermelon drink that was out of this world. Each time I go I get the Birria tacos and the broth is made perfect. Also, the rice is served in the broth which is very tasteful. No complaints and I’ll definitely continue to dine here.“
