“If I could give the food a 6 I absolutely would. Its not often that I'm blown away but today I was. I drove out of my way to try Taco Bamba and it was well worth the effort. I could make the argument that two of the three tacos I ordered were arguably the best tacos Ive had. The fried chicken and the catfish were absolutely exceptional. The carnitas had a sweeter profile than I like. Good but I was expecting savory so just didnt wow me. The others though had A LOT going on and was hitting on all cylinders.

“Absolutely phenomenal! Coming from NYC and being latino myself, I didn't think I would find much to be noteworthy. I have been proven completely wrong by this food truck. Had the quesabirria tacos and started off with one order but ended up taking 3 with me! I will definitely be coming back.“

“One of the most fresh and tasty Mexican Food Truck in the VCU area. Friendly service, everything is made with fresh ingredients. The line moved very quickly and credit card is accepted. I have tried Shrimp Salad and it was delicious; the salad came with good amount of large prawns. The Chipotle Chicken Wrap has so much flavor. Chicken quesadilla served with guacamole, sour cream, and salsa. If you don’t have time to wait in long lines, this is the place for you.“

“Despite a Doordash delay, all of my food still came out hot. The Birria Quesadilla was pretty good, and my lady's burrito was even better. The only downside was that our churros were just straight up burnt. Other than that, this is a pretty good spot.“

Overall, the service was excellent—the staff was very attentive and friendly. We also thoroughly enjoyed the warm chips, very fresh salsa, and the rest of our food, which was delicious. The only item everyone at the table agreed they did not enjoy was the shrimp.

“Today was my first time enjoying their tacos after walking my dog on the canal. I asked homegirl to give me her two favorites, and to jazz them up like she liked them. She went with the Mexican and the J*** with sautéed peppers and onions, and OMmmmmmmmG! Life changing experience! Hands down the best tacos I’ve eaten this side of the Mississippi River.“

“This is one of the few places in town that you can get breakfast lunch or dinner to go at 5 AM in a choose from a buffet in the kitchen type of setting. The prices are very reasonable. I walked out with plates all the time that should be $30 and I pay $10-$15. Also, they have a variety of Latin foods.“

“Its a taco bell. Its gonna be very good, or very bad depending on who is in the kitchen. Its bad when they give you just the bare minimum on meat/cheese. You all see it. You've all been to a taco bell like this. When they do that, that is what the corpo thinks it should be... not even joking.“
