When it was brought out to me it looked like a taquito ( a 1/3 of the size). A manager came over and was not happy when I told him that. He said that was their normal size chimi’s. To top it all off when I took my first bite It was shredded beef instead of ground beef. I put do NOT RECOMMEND and do not know what happened and now I cannot change it!!!!!!’“

“We recently placed a catering order from Tacos Mexico, and the experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The tacos were incredible—full of flavor, perfectly prepared, and truly authentic Mexican tacos. You can immediately tell the difference in quality compared to many other places. I’ve tried tacos from a wide range of restaurants, and this spot easily ranks as one of the best I’ve had.

Everything tasted fresh and homemade, which really stood out. The ingredients were well-balanced, the meats were cooked perfectly, and the toppings complemented each taco without overpowering it. It’s clear that they take pride in making everything in-house, and that attention to detail makes a huge difference.

Another big plus is the pricing. For the level of quality, portion sizes, and overall experience, the value is excellent. Catering orders can sometimes be hit or miss, but this one exceeded expectations in every way.

I accidentally ordered some food on my mobile app on Halloween day and called to speak to a manager to see how to go about getting my order canceled. Mr Jose answer the phone and had a better idea he told me to go inside the store speak to the manager and let them know that I've talked to him personally and see if they will help me get my order at the correct location in Chester. “I have been coming to Kahlo's for about three years now and I have to say that it is consistently the friendliest service in Church Hill.

It also has some of the best homemade Latin-inspired food in town. I love that they make so much of the food, including the chips, in-house. You can taste the authenticity!

The new Happy Hour is a very welcome addition. From $5 wines to $4 beers and always chips and salsa with it, you can't beat the deal.

The weekend brunch is some of my favorite food. Everything from the breakfast bowl to the breakfast burrito or just getting a side of California fries is all excellent.

And of course my favorite thing on the menu always is the authentic Lengua. Either in a torta, burrito or something else. It's slow-braised and cooked to perfection.

my girlfriend’s family have been coming here for years (she’s salvadoran) and she said the sopa de pollo tastes like home. everytime she eats here food she makes a “mmm” sound so it means she happy.

as you can see below we had a feast (wasn’t the first time) we got empanadas, queso de pupusas (wasn’t as good as her moms), horchata, torte de carne asada, and even sopa de pollo

the food was so good, the atmosphere is cool, the workers speak espanol, and the prices are reasonable. come here if you want a full belly

“When I tell you this place has the best tacos you’ll find within RVA! I came across this place by accident Thursday night & I say accident bc my (ex fav.) taco truck was closed. I ordered a carne asada torta, 2 lengua tacos and a pastor, my bf ordered carnitas and asada. The meat was seasoned and cooked perfectly! & they don’t skimp you on the meat either.
