“I have been a patron of this establishment for over 30 years and in all that time I have never been asked to pay a gratuity fee. I have had birthday parties , baby showers and rehearsal dinner. I realize there was six in my party. Paying by two different checks. The owner whom my kids played with growing up tells me its on the menu that the its up to the server degression to use it or not. You know where it is on the menu???? All the way down at the bottom paste the food items. In smaller print. Sad to say I will no longer be a customer here thanks to the sever Miranda“

“We ate at the Mechanicsville location on our way home from out of state. I always order a chimichanga every time I have Mexican, which is often. I ordered one today with ground beef. When it was brought out to me it looked like a taquito ( a 1/3 of the size). A manager came over and was not happy when I told him that. He said that was their normal size chimi’s. To top it all off when I took my first bite It was shredded beef instead of ground beef. I put do NOT RECOMMEND and do not know what happened and now I cannot change it!!!!!!’“

The food is great and that’s reason enough to go back, but their mission of community support and visible and heartfelt recognition of the humanity of others in our community will have us going back again and again. “Food was average at best. Out of everything including a cook. Actually closed the kitchen for about 30 minutes because cook was at end of shift and no one there to replace him. They are listed as a Priority Pass discounted restaurant and when asked, they looked at me like I was crazy. No clue.“

They were very attentive and accommodating with regards to my treenut allergies and I was still able to enjoy several menu items. Get the Bundt Pirate dessert if it's on the menu. “Took my German client to this amazing restaurant and she was blissful! I’ve been many times and try to share this phenomenal dining experience with others whenever possible. High quality ingredients, all dishes are made to order and fresh and hot and delicious, generous portions and the bread is to die for! The server was delightful and so was the gentleman running the front. I can’t say enough good things! Go, enjoy!“

-To me it's an intimate venue as you are close to the stage.
-They do have a bar on both levels.
-Parking can be tricky. Suggest arriving early to secure a good parking spot around the area.
-Staff is nice every time.“

“For someone who really doesn’t like salad, Jackie completely changed my experience! She took her time to explain everything calmly and patiently. There was a couple walking up the stairs in front of us as we went in, and when we got to the door, a waitress said “I need that cup” and yanked it out of the woman’s hand as she walked off. She was the same waitress that sat us, but not who took our order. The waitress who took our order was extremely rude almost the entire time. A couple of times she brought food out and put it on our table AS she’s walking by. I stopped her once, to ask if we could have our bread warmed as it was cold. She barely stopped as she said “no.” And continued walking. The waitresses were rude and made me feel so uncomfortable with their terrible attitudes. Atmosphere is a little cramped but it was fine. The food was AMAZING though. It was really hot, and the pasta portions were GENEROUS.“

“They have freshly made corn tortillas chips that are delicious. Ordered the tortilla chips with a red salsa and white queso dip. Everything was tasty. I ordered the Mi Rey platter that comes with the ribeye steak, grilled shrimp, and the piri quarter leg chicken. Got a side of avocado and the Jamaica drink. Everything was five stars: the food and the service. I will definitely need to return and try some desserts.... 😋“
