“I have been a patron of this establishment for over 30 years and in all that time I have never been asked to pay a gratuity fee. I have had birthday parties , baby showers and rehearsal dinner. I realize there was six in my party. Paying by two different checks. The owner whom my kids played with growing up tells me its on the menu that the its up to the server degression to use it or not. You know where it is on the menu???? All the way down at the bottom paste the food items. In smaller print. Sad to say I will no longer be a customer here thanks to the sever Miranda“

“I’ve been wanting to check this place out for awhile. We stopped by this past Friday night to grab dessert on the way home after having dinner in shockoe bottom. Felt welcome as soon as we walked in. I could see this is a spot locals love. I let her know my son only wanted dessert and she didn’t hesitate to recommend Momma Doc’s. He ended up ordering the brownie sundae. Let me tell you, it must’ve been delicious cause he scarfed it down like he hadn’t eaten all night 😂. We will definitely be back. The menu was extensive, and the vibe was chill.“

“We ate at the Mechanicsville location on our way home from out of state. I always order a chimichanga every time I have Mexican, which is often. I ordered one today with ground beef. When it was brought out to me it looked like a taquito ( a 1/3 of the size). A manager came over and was not happy when I told him that. He said that was their normal size chimi’s. To top it all off when I took my first bite It was shredded beef instead of ground beef. I put do NOT RECOMMEND and do not know what happened and now I cannot change it!!!!!!’“

“This was my first time at Waffle House last week at 1:40 am after my flight came in from Richmond, the breakfast sandwiches were fire and the lady that worked the walk up counter was very sweet.

It was so good I decided to get it at 3pm before my flight home today. The biscuit and gravy was on point. 10/10 I NEED WH in the PNW. Make it happen WAFFLE HOUSE!“

The food is great and that’s reason enough to go back, but their mission of community support and visible and heartfelt recognition of the humanity of others in our community will have us going back again and again. “I got the fish sandwich and it was hot and fresh. However, the lettuce was wilted and I am not a personal fan of shoestring fries because the get cold and limp to quickly. It was strange to find no Samuel Adams beers on tap at a Sanuel Adams establishments.

My server, Tabbi, was friendly and attentive she even took the opportunity to help me before the pushy customer that came in after me.

The music was a bit loud and only ESPN on all screens. I guess that's the usual for an airport bar.“

This was the best latin food we've had since moving to the East Coast .

“We recently placed a catering order from Tacos Mexico, and the experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The tacos were incredible—full of flavor, perfectly prepared, and truly authentic Mexican tacos. You can immediately tell the difference in quality compared to many other places. I’ve tried tacos from a wide range of restaurants, and this spot easily ranks as one of the best I’ve had.

Everything tasted fresh and homemade, which really stood out. The ingredients were well-balanced, the meats were cooked perfectly, and the toppings complemented each taco without overpowering it. “First time at Edo’s last night. There was a couple walking up the stairs in front of us as we went in, and when we got to the door, a waitress said “I need that cup” and yanked it out of the woman’s hand as she walked off. She was the same waitress that sat us, but not who took our order. The waitress who took our order was extremely rude almost the entire time. A couple of times she brought food out and put it on our table AS she’s walking by. I stopped her once, to ask if we could have our bread warmed as it was cold. She barely stopped as she said “no.” And continued walking. The waitresses were rude and made me feel so uncomfortable with their terrible attitudes. Atmosphere is a little cramped but it was fine. The food was AMAZING though. It was really hot, and the pasta portions were GENEROUS.“
