“The food was great. My husband had the beef brisket. I had the chicken and brisket dinner combo, with mac n cheese and cole slaw as my sides. The sweet tea was definitely homemade and yummy. The meat was perfect, tasted fantastic, and portions were more than enough. The service was wonderful and we felt welcomed. They made sure we were good and checked to see if we needed anything.”

“This was a great place to get a late meal, very friendly service with a spotless dining room. I had spaghetti carbonara that came promptly and was a huge portion. The food delivery robot is a little weird but it added something different. I’ll definitely eat here again whenever I have the chance.Kid-friendliness: There was a birthday party while I was there and they had the robot sing happy birthday, kinda neat kinda nerdy.”

“Stopped by on a Sunday morning. It has a bar like atmosphere, but the food is absolutely amazing. Everything was made from scratch and cooked to order. We highly highly recommend the pancakes. They were the best we’ve ever had. Great food and friendly attentive staff.”

“I’ve lived 5 minutes from this restaurant for just over 10 years and am just discovering this gem. The facility is immaculate, the ambience is romantic, and the food is superb! The teriyaki wings are a MUST Have! A lot can be inferred by the cleanliness of the restroom of any business, especially a restaurant. The women’s restroom here was spotless and smelled so pleasant that I searched for the air freshener, but soon discovered … there wasn’t one! They maintain their restrooms that well! WOW! That’s a rarity! I’m so glad to have discovered this jewel. Hats off to the management and staff! It was a flawless experience, also a rarity. We will be back very soon!”

“Reviews are spot on. Service fast and friendly. Chips were warm and had right amount of salt, the salsa while it's more tomatoe base it had a kick.My soup one word, delicious.The fajitas salad was different from what I'm used to, it didn't come in a shell, but different is good and I'm hooked, I'll skip shell at other Mexican restaurants. Had mix chicken and steak both cooked good and came hot.”

“I had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant during lunch. And it just so happened that it was Taco Tuesday! Beef tacos that are authentic and not skimpy, $1.50 each. I had the chili rellenos that came with a side order of Spanish rice refried beans soft tortilla shells and of course tortillas and salsa, before my meal came. I had iced tea which has free refills The service was impeccable! Very attentive! Checked at my table frequently, to see if I needed anything else. Gave me a to-go cup of iced tea as well as some tortilla chips and salsa to go for free. Highly recommend this restaurant! “Poor girls was super busy and was all alone...noone helping but she rocked it...kept apologizing for the delay we all told her no worries we werent in a hurry. She killed my order and the big family in front of me...AWESOME”

“This was my first time staying at this hotel, and despite its proximity to the airport, is very quiet inside and out. The room I had was impeccably clean, comfortable, with everything in sound working order. The room furnishings were great, and I really liked the bedside connectively, including conventional power outlets and USB ports on both sides of the bed. I did place an order at the Bistro, the in-house restaurant. And the food I ordered was excellent. The location is nice enough, and within walking distances to several restaurants. However, the only parking lot entrances are the two street sides ones off of Williamsburg Road, and there isn't one that is off the road that leads to a couple other hotels. It would be nice if there was. It's just a minor quibble though. As for the hotel staff, they were courteous and helpful. Overall, I was impressed with the hotel, and can see myself staying here again in the future.”

“Had the special, Chori Steak, and it was fantastic! Cooked well, and everything was tasty. House salsa was great and two kinds of El Yucateco hot sauce on every table. Will keep in mind for this area of Richmond (airport area). Delicious!”

“Customer service was nice, the staff was in a great mood, singing Xmas songs, laughing with others in the restaurant. There was great music playing inside the establishment. It was beautiful energy in the atmosphere.The Service was quick! My food was standard Waffle House quality.My only complaint is that I think the grill needed to be cleaned because my meats had this black charcoal smear and very salty taste from the grill. Other than that it was a great experience e since I was feeling a little anxiety this morning. This experience really put me in a better mood!”

“Tonight was just our latest amazing dinner at Blue Atlas! It was Vegan Takeover night and we tried every dish but one … as usual, the flavors were anything but boring. They were bold and surprising and our two non-vegan guests ate every last morsel and then some. The non-vegan nights are equally as extraordinary! Friendly, professional staff (Bas was out server tonight and he was great!) and just a fabulous experience!!! I love the fact that the head chef is a woman (as an aside)!”

“Having been a server for almost 10 years, it is very difficult for me to be blown away by service I recieve while dining. Susan absolutely put it down! Not only was she completely on point with timing of everything- drink almost done? She's there asking if you're ready for another. Just finished your last bite of bread? Here she comes with more for the table- but she is EXTREMELY knowledgeable about the menu, helping guide you through the flavors present and explaining not only what features in a dish, but how it will taste and feel. I CANNOT say enough about how professional and amazing she was. Then, not only was the service top-notch, but every single bite of every dish absolutely DELIEVERED! We ordered the venison carpaccio, and Susan was able to describe all the sauces and flavors on the dish, so we were able to try the venison with each, knowing it would tweak the overall flavor in different ways. It came highly recommended by a friend and did not disappoint. I got the waygu stuffed quail for my entree and my husband got the sea scallops catch of the day, and the portions were amazing for both- giant scallops, a half a quail that perfectly filled me up, along with amazing waygu cheek stuffed in the quail. Not only were the proteins perfectly cooked and flavored, but even the sides to each dish complemented the proteins beautifully and were DELICIOUS. Not a single thing could I or would I want to change. 100% worth every penny spent for an amazing date night, and we will absolutely book another reservation to return!Parking: Go early to ensure you can find parking, or catch an Uber or Lyft”

“Dinner at Alewife was the highlight of our five-day visit to Richmond. First off, it was a relief to get out of downtown Richmond with its huge empty parking lots, boarded up storefronts and deserted streets. The historic Church Hill section, with its 19th century row and other houses and interesting looking restaurants and shops, was such a pleasant change. Parking near Alewife was a bit of a challenge, but we quickly found a spot just a block away.The restaurant itself has a fascinating vibe, part friendly neighborhood spot and part disarmingly upmarket dining room. You just knew the food would be interesting, and it was. We started with a gin and tonic and a non-alcoholic beer. The menu is fairly short and apparently changes nightly, or at least frequently.I would never in this world think that I would enjoy an appetizer of raw oysters, bright green pickle juice, creme fraiche and fresh dill. But it was an amazing flavor combination. My partner's appetizer was equally interesting -- lox on thick, toasted rustic bread.As mains, we had the arctic char, with grilled carrots, and the skate, both perfectly prepared and delicious. Service throughout the meal was just right -- friendly, attentive but not overly so. Our charge for two, including tip, was around $150, well worth the price. Thank you for a great meal experience!”

“We had a great evening at Penny's Wine Shop - we enjoyed the full flight of featured wines by the glass and paired them with several of the shared plate selections. Oyster mushrooms conserva and potato dauphinoise were our top favorites with the Bolet Cava and Patience Blanc white blend, but everything we tasted was delicious – oh that Basque cheesecake! “I came here for a work event and we were directed to the event space. I got the short rib and a couple others got the salmon. Both were wonderful.Drinks were a little slow but heavily poured and made for a lively evening.The night was made by the service given by Rylee. Atmosphere, character and ambiance of the bar and dining room were old-school comfortable and welcoming.Dinner included wedge salad and seared tuna, Arugula salad and simply prepared blackened salmon. “We google searched "restaurants near me" while we were in Richmond. The results displayed a long list of restaurants and after reviewing several we found Elegant Cuizines and I knew this was the perfect spot. We made a reservation for 8:30pm But we were running late so we call the restaurant and they assured it wouldn't be an issue. When we arrived we were greeted by Charles and seated by the waitress. The menu host a variety of foods that is dairy, free and gluten-free food. The food was beautifully plated and was to die for. Chef Theresa is making art in plate form. The ambiance was amazand the service was incredible. Elegant Cuizines can get my money any day. Charles and Theresa, thank you for making our night special, and we will be back soon”

“Attended the Wade Cellars wine tasting hosted here by Chef Mike Lindsey and it was phenomenal.The restaurant is on the smaller side, but very well put together, inviting, and has charm.I haven't tried menu items from Jubilee yet, but after this experience, we will definitely be back!”
