You want great food in a small, home town setting then this is a must have!!! The food is wonderful! Fresh, made to order and always good and hot. I love the fact they hire local teens and young adults as servers too. And if you need an ice cream fix, they have great shakes, cones and sundaes with lots of flavors to choose from. 5+ stars 100 % YUM!Kid-friendliness: 100% Yes!
Sandston bistro & shakes are amazing and it is a staple in the community. I've scheduled after lunch ice cream parties for my co-workers and colleagues. There are a few picnic tables outside the store when it's nice weather. They just recently remodeled the interior. It's legitimately the best ice cream in town and the food is also handcrafted. If you haven't tried the Rib Eye steak sandwich, do so. I never ordered before because I thought it wouldn't be tender. It was so tender and good. I got fried onions and mayo on mine.
