If you haven't tried the Rib Eye steak sandwich, do so. I never ordered before because I thought it wouldn't be tender. It was so tender and good. I got fried onions and mayo on mine.
Always come for ice cream and milkshakes. Can be a little slow if they are busy but the milkshakes are well worth it.

I love the fact they hire local teens and young adults as servers too. Sandston bistro & shakes are amazing and it is a staple in the community. I've scheduled after lunch ice cream parties for my co-workers and colleagues. There are a few picnic tables outside the store when it's nice weather. They just recently remodeled the interior. It's legitimately the best ice cream in town and the food is also handcrafted. Every time I go I either get a cheeseburger with my son or I'll stop in for lunch and grab a hero. This is a family-owned business and it's amazing.

It was an experience to come here. Yesterday we got subs and ice cream. The subs were delicious made to order and exactly as advertised. I got the foot long and the other 6 inches were just as good the next day as the first day (unusual because second subs are usually soggy). The ice cream was great and tastes homemade. The cashier was knowledgeable and very helpful. This place is a gem.
Cheese steak was dry but fries were great even though Cheese fries were just fries with a tiny cheese container. I'll try a shake next
