Heavenley Burgers Inc. is a great little lunch spot run by a super nice and friendly couple. The husband is a veteran of the navy, the army, and the marines, and he and his wife, the sweetest person in the world, run the place by themselves. The food is old school, made to order right in front of the customer. Items are named after the grandchildren. A chili cheeseburger and fries were perfect, and a cheeseburger is available at 8 am. The place has no frills and is incredibly nostalgic. Customers can get a burger and fries, and the couple will even cut up the food for safe eating and driving. The wife has a hint of a Cajun accent from 18 years in Louisiana. The restaurant has only a couple of counter stools, so customers should be prepared to wait or take food to go. Little burger stands like this are a dying breed, and this place is a little gem and RVA royalty. Customers should show up with respect and patience, as the owners sometimes have to shut down due to health issues.
