“My family and I took my Mother there for her 91st birthday. In all there were 14 of us. The staff took great care of us. We ordered from the brunch menu. Everyone one of us had a wonderful time. The food was tasty, chef (AJ) even came out to say Happy Birthday to his Grandmother! Several of us said we will return again. The dinner menu looks amazing I wanted to stay for dinner but I had to head home and I was too full from brunch. I wish Sweet P's much success!“

“I’ve been wanting to check this place out for awhile. We stopped by this past Friday night to grab dessert on the way home after having dinner in shockoe bottom. Felt welcome as soon as we walked in. I could see this is a spot locals love. I let her know my son only wanted dessert and she didn’t hesitate to recommend Momma Doc’s. He ended up ordering the brownie sundae. Let me tell you, it must’ve been delicious cause he scarfed it down like he hadn’t eaten all night 😂. We will definitely be back. My only complaints are that my burger had A LOT of onions on it, but it's easy to pick some off and some folks probably love the excess of onions...and that some of the outdoor tables have benches that don't have backs to them, which is a little uncomfortable.

Ambiance was great; the building is an old school movie theatre. Both the food and service we're amazing; Jessica was handling her business!“

“What a great spot. I am a big believer in the smallest of places having the biggest of flavors and personalities.

This is it, Pop’s Dogs were just that great dogs. Walked in and immediately I was greeted by the folks inside and the barstools within reach of the door. I popped a squat, placed my order and had great conversations while Pop himself (unsure if it was himself) but watched him bend and stretch and dance around the tiny layout with the grace of a swan. Grabbing dogs, frying fries, pouring teas and lemonades.
Alas it was my turn to dig in and I sat outside with a local artist and his terrier and took it all in.
I enjoyed the food, was brave enough to have the seal broken on the pickle jar on the counter for a huge dill and was not disappointed.

Great ambiance of old medical devices, toys, papers and memorabilia. The 1920’s shock machine was my favorite and I need one to use as a Tens unit.

“This place is one you have to order out, but when I tell you the pizza is delicious, I mean it. To me, it is honestly one of the best (if not THE best) pizzeria in Richmond. The ingredients are fresh and the red sauce is perfection.

My only critique would be for a crispier crust, but that's just me. I have ordered their Greek pizza and have had both my aunt and grandmother try it and both agreed it was one of the best slices they've had since moving down here from NY (hence why I like a crispier crust, lol).

“We had never been here before, but we gave it a whirl. The dining area was very clean. The service was very nice. Logan was our server, and was polite and smiled. We asked about their food and he took time to help us with it. The manager also was very nice when we asked go talk to him. To his surprise, we took time to tell him we enjoyed the place. He made sure we got our employee’s name so we could mention in the review. We did not buy the shakes, but if I could have eaten and drank that much, I would have. The price was also very good.“

“I ordered the Sicilian pizza for take-out, so service and atmosphere are really not important. However, as part of service, when I called in the order, it was very cheerfully taken, and they called me when it was ready. I like Sicilian pizza very much, but it's usually rather dry. This was anything but. The cheese is great, but the sauce is fantastic. I'd say it's the BEST Sicilian pizza I've ever had. I'm from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania originally, home of pan-fried Sicilian (which is a different thing altogether). But for lovers of very traditional Sicilian, I'd highly recommend this!“

“Nice little joint. Ambiance is counter service. One whole counter is devoted to Ice cream. Seats and posters are no drill.

Both of us got two hotdogs. Loaded or chili cheese dogs are $3.99. most sandwiches. Also run $7-9. Add $5.49 to make it a combination with fries and drink.
The hot dogs were all beef and perfectly cooked. The fries were fine but nothing special. Good portion size

Ice cream is Hershey's which is good stuff. $3.99 per scoop is a decent price. Fancy ice cream dishes can get more expensive.“

“I went to the Holly Philly foodtruck located on Midlothian turnpike at the BP gas station. The customer service was outstanding and it was hands down the Best Philly sub I have had in a long time. I ordered their #7 12 inch combo and it was enough food to split for two people. I will definitely be returning!“

“Loved it. Great views, amazing cocktails, perfect for late spring/early summer w a lovely breeze. Kid friendly, but don't be a jerk- if you are ordering food (for yourself or your kid) rub the two neurons together that it takes to understand how unfair it is to the staff to order food on the balcony - it SUCKS to have to get food to there, (and, shockingly!) even more than it sucks having to go back downstairs to order food. Just be a decent person, order drinks at the bar (like a normal person), and get your food downstairs close to the kitchen.... that way it is still warm when you get it, and you won't sound like a completely entitled dumbass when you complain about how long it took/how cold your food is, when you were too lazy to even try to go downstairs without the burden of an order.“

“Have not been to an Applebee's in almost 4 plus years. Honestly, wasn't expecting. Had apps, dessert and the O M Cheese burger. I have to say, it tasted like it looked, in a very good to have eaten there way.... eating out isn't what it used to be but, I appreciate what is being done. The price wasn't bad, about $50 for two at lunch.....to include dessert....sooooo not mad at all..“

We ordered the jalapeño poppers and two burgers.
The jalapeño poppers were stuffed full and super crispy.
Both burgers were cooked to the perfect medium rare temperature.

“I am a DoorDash driver, and I’ve been to this location frequently. Every single time, it is spotless, everyone is so kind, and they are quick to bring out the food. When I was there today, there was an ENTIRE group of people with one singular order (I’d say around 35 people? All on one ticket.) and I had 2 DoorDash orders. Let me tell you, I have never seen ANY restaurant, regardless of if it was fast food or not, bring out such quality food in such a timely fashion. Not to mention they were so patient with the entire group, and me! They were so nice, and such troopers. Good job today, guys!!“

“Stopped by here today and got the lamb and rice and fish with mac n cheese and greens. Everything was delicious but i wasnt fond of the mac n cheese.. alot of people coming in to get food very busy place. The guy that was taking orders and working the register was very friendly and seem to know all his customers that frequent regularly. Definitely recommend this place. Prices were good 👍“

Our server Susan took the time to make sure the kids pancakes were exactly how they wanted them. The food came out quickly and Susan was a kind and attentive server. “I have a severe gluten allergy and ordered my food at a very super busy time and Keith from the store jumped up immediately and made sure it stayed gluten free. As someone who travels for a living this made me feel so safe since my entire bill of health is based on this allergy. Being able to find somewhere like this while traveling and someone like Keith makes a world of difference and I wish every person with an allergy or with celiac can find someone like Keith. He needs to be promoted!!!“

This place used to be old Dunes BBQ bldg if that helps to know where they are. Mechanicsville Turnpike. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get.
