“I’ve been wanting to check this place out for awhile. We stopped by this past Friday night to grab dessert on the way home after having dinner in shockoe bottom. Felt welcome as soon as we walked in. I could see this is a spot locals love. I let her know my son only wanted dessert and she didn’t hesitate to recommend Momma Doc’s. He ended up ordering the brownie sundae. Let me tell you, it must’ve been delicious cause he scarfed it down like he hadn’t eaten all night 😂. We will definitely be back. The menu was extensive, and the vibe was chill.“

“My family and I took my Mother there for her 91st birthday. In all there were 14 of us. The staff took great care of us. We ordered from the brunch menu. Everyone one of us had a wonderful time. The food was tasty, chef (AJ) even came out to say Happy Birthday to his Grandmother! Several of us said we will return again. The dinner menu looks amazing I wanted to stay for dinner but I had to head home and I was too full from brunch. I wish Sweet P's much success!“

“As it says in the name, they have burgers and they have brews. And both are phenomenal. The loaded tots and truffle fries were both delicious, great portion sizes and were a great start to the meal. Our burgers were all stacked high, every bite made me want more. A boozy milkshake for dessert completed the experience, so creamy and smooth, the PB&J totally hit the spot. The owners came in and treated the granddaughters to pom poms, books, and bubble-maker sets, because everyone wants to be a cheerleader, books are priceless, and bubbles are fun. Great value. “I ordered the Sicilian pizza for take-out, so service and atmosphere are really not important. However, as part of service, when I called in the order, it was very cheerfully taken, and they called me when it was ready. I like Sicilian pizza very much, but it's usually rather dry. This was anything but. The cheese is great, but the sauce is fantastic. I'd say it's the BEST Sicilian pizza I've ever had. I'm from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania originally, home of pan-fried Sicilian (which is a different thing altogether). But for lovers of very traditional Sicilian, I'd highly recommend this!“

“We had never been here before, but we gave it a whirl. The dining area was very clean. The service was very nice. Logan was our server, and was polite and smiled. We asked about their food and he took time to help us with it. The manager also was very nice when we asked go talk to him. To his surprise, we took time to tell him we enjoyed the place. He made sure we got our employee’s name so we could mention in the review. We did not buy the shakes, but if I could have eaten and drank that much, I would have. The price was also very good.“

“Went for lunch and my experience started out shaky. My sister and I ordered the $15.99 special, I started with riblets and coleslaw and my sister had boneless chicken and fries. My riblets were burnt and hard and nothing but grissle, I could barely cut them with a knife, my sister's chicken looked like fried rocks. I asked the waitress Leone for the chicken and not make them too hard and my sister asked for riblets no sauce. The second came and was much better than the first. The manager Imani came and spoke to us and we told her our concerns, she suggested we try the shrimp and they were the best thing we had all day. If not for our waitress Leone('who was great btw) and manager Imani I would have given 1'star, but those two made my dining experience enjoyable.“

“My husband and I just ate here for the first time this evening and it was amazing. I had the taco salad with chicken and it’s one of the best salads I’ve ever had. My husband really enjoyed his bacon cheeseburger and tater tots. The portions are huge, neither one of us could finish. Everyone needs to come eat here. I need this place to succeed. The jalapeño poppers were stuffed full and super crispy.

“I am a DoorDash driver, and I’ve been to this location frequently. Every single time, it is spotless, everyone is so kind, and they are quick to bring out the food. When I was there today, there was an ENTIRE group of people with one singular order (I’d say around 35 people? All on one ticket.) and I had 2 DoorDash orders. Let me tell you, I have never seen ANY restaurant, regardless of if it was fast food or not, bring out such quality food in such a timely fashion. Not to mention they were so patient with the entire group, and me! They were so nice, and such troopers. Good job today, guys!!“

Kid friendly, but don't be a jerk- if you are ordering food (for yourself or your kid) rub the two neurons together that it takes to understand how unfair it is to the staff to order food on the balcony - it SUCKS to have to get food to there, (and, shockingly!) even more than it sucks having to go back downstairs to order food. Just be a decent person, order drinks at the bar (like a normal person), and get your food downstairs close to the kitchen.... that way it is still warm when you get it, and you won't sound like a completely entitled dumbass when you complain about how long it took/how cold your food is, when you were too lazy to even try to go downstairs without the burden of an order.“

Which if you’ve been to Hardee’s before then you should know that they most always cook the food to order so I knew that I had to wait and didn’t mind doing so if it insures that I will receive hot food 🥘.
