“This was my first time trying Cookout and I enjoyed the food and the vibes. They have an extensive menu and 40+ milkshake flavors. The prices are also very reasonable. My only complaint is the service could have been better and when I came in there was an old couple that were complaining about their food and held up the line.“
“Drive-thru was very friendly and accommodating but I had to correct them last night more than three times. When I finally got home my order was still slightly incorrect. I loved the friendliness respect I was shown but attention to detail was quite lacking.Dietary restrictions: I am on a low-carb diet and askwd for some conies with no bun. Their menu is not diet friendly, customers have to be creative about their own diets when ordering.“
“Hadn't had Five Guys in a minute. This ? was delicious & super fast considering its made fresh. ✔ I would visit again. Only thing, is that 2 cheeseburgers, 2 drinks, & small fry was $40.00. So, if you have a large family, be prepared for that expense :). Still, was nice to enjoy some good food and sit down at the restaurant/eat it. I feel it was worth it. I had forgotten how good their burgers are. They remind me of Roy's ...a little. Yum.Parking: Parking similar to any strip mall - type parking. It was easy to get in & out. Not sure if it would be the same if both Five guys & Chipotle were busy. But it was easy when I went.“
“I had not been to Trackside Grill for about 2 yearsBack then it was "meh" so wasn't rushing back with the other local options HOWEVER I love the new menu! Chili was superb clearly homemade! My special request for cheese and sour cream and were taken with a smile. Fries were good yet when iI started dunking my fries in the amazing chili, I couldn't help but wonder what some nice gloopy cheese on top would be like?!Although they have a bar, you are not getting typical barfood. My brothers burger was cooked beautifully and just as he asked. Lettuce was crispy and tomato was good.We are picky about our tomatoes in Hanover. My brother thought his wild wild west burger was supposed to jave BBQ sauce yet he enjoyed it without it.The decor has changed into more of an Ashland Centric theme. The enlarged photographs on the walls were beautiful. As an equestrian and prior racehorse owner (the racehorse history is deep here) with Eagle Point and a few other successful racing stables within 5 miles, and the new Secretariat monument coming to the center of town it w ould be nice to see win photos from Colonial Downs from local people.I imagine quite a few will travel here off 95, 1 or 54 to see the monument. Perhaps something secretariat themed would be a nice for tourists to take home. A cup, a ribbon, coin or something. With another locally owned business across the street Changing Reins. People com from near and far (Short Pump, Chesterfield. Montpelier..LOL) so I would not loose the equestrian theme. If only in the foyer restrooms or some history on a page in the menu. If you do a little research about the racing industry in Ashland, Hanover and surrounding areasyou might be very surprised about what you find !Sorry for rambling. Just my thoughts...Parking: Free sp“
“Amazing! I got the Friday special of turkey wings in gravy, yummy! The sides were also tasty-collards, green beans, cabbage, Mac & cheese, spoon bread, and the okra...we were stuffed and couldn't stop eating! (Other people got the porkchops that just fell off the bone, seafood platter, and sides with rice) I can't believe I didn't go before, but I sure will be back again and again. The staff was incredibly friendly, too!“
