Great little tucked away spot with limited tables and a bar seating area. You can hear them pounding the schnitzel in the kitchen. Great selection of German beers, we went with the kolsch and the chicken schnitzel w mushroom gravy I choose German potato salad and sauerkraut as my sides and my partner got spaetzle and gravy. I am normally a huge fan of Cafe Rustika. I have been multiple times, and while I have not always been greeted with any charm, I have always been respected as a patron.Until tonight. I was greeted by the waitress by way of: "I will be with you in a few". After she passed by me several times, with no inclination to get my number, I was still waiting patiently. I was hungry for some bratwurst, but they did not have any when I randomly stopped into this cozy little bar. However, had bratwurst been available, I never would have tried the sauerbraten which was absolutely delicious! The German chocolate cake for dessert was also excellent!
