“Took my German client to this amazing restaurant and she was blissful! I’ve been many times and try to share this phenomenal dining experience with others whenever possible. High quality ingredients, all dishes are made to order and fresh and hot and delicious, generous portions and the bread is to die for! The server was delightful and so was the gentleman running the front. I can’t say enough good things! Go, enjoy!“

“My wife and I had a delicious meal here for their Wednesday date night special - an appetizer, two entrees, and a bottle of wine for just $75!! This is a fantastic value because the two entrees and appetizer would surpass that amount alone so the wine is basically free 😊

The cheese and meat board appetizer was great with local cheeses and a delicious jam and mustard that paired beautifully with the grilled sourdough.

The entrees we ordered - the chicken schnitzel and the dorado (fish) with clams were both fantastic! Don’t expect your traditional German pub schnitzel (and go to cafe rustika downtown for that). This plate of food was a different but absolutely phenomenal take on the classic with a perfectly breaded and fried piece of chicken with a slightly spicy romesco and a super fresh pesto sauce and then some crisp endives on top - really really delicious.

The fish and clams were also cooked perfectly and nestled in a heavenly broth. I don’t knew what else to say other than the bowl was scooped clean with the side of bread.

The servings were certainly enough to satisfy us - and we walked in hungry - but we didn’t take any leftovers home (it was too delicious to not finish lol)

The restaurant itself is cozy and comfortable and we both appreciated the playlist they had going!“
