“We had such a great time at trivia night at Väsen. The questions were actually fun and well thought out, probably some of the best trivia we’ve played in terms of variety and challenge. This spot is also my husband’s favorite for non-alcoholic options, which means a lot since he doesn’t drink. It’s one of the few places where he still feels totally included in the vibe while we’re out having fun. Great beer and great energy.“
“Trivia Night. Made it through Dragons & Fictional Places; was thoroughly disappointed in myself & hubby. In our defense we were a team of 2 everyone else had 6 + teammates. The food was so yummy. Great place.“

“We catered a welcome dinner for our wedding for 90 guests through Jalapenos in Carytown. The event was at a local brewery. We ordered a wide variety of items including tortillas, fajitas, steak, chicken, rice, quesadillas, dip, and other items. All the food was extremely fresh and tasty, with great portions! It came right on time, and was set up perfectly! We received so many compliments on all the food, and people kept going back for seconds. Carlos and his team were such a pleasure to work with, and cared so much about the success of our event. We could not recommend them enough.“

“Visit today 7/18/25 at 5 pm , party of 3 people. We felt welcomed from the moment we walked in the door! Food was great, atmosphere felt authentic. Our lady who served us was so sweet and kind. Empanadas and pork dishes highly recommend! We will definitely be back and recommend! Parking lot and easy to find.“

“Solid cheese steak hoagie. Love the sesame roll. We ate at the bar, I enjoyed a crisp topochico, while my partner had a hazy IPA. We split the cheese steak hoagie (minus pickled peps). Classic fries and delicious potato salad. Looking forward to coming back and trying the tomato pie.“

“This place was delicious! I got a vegetarian spring roll and a bowl of Pho Tai and it was fantastic. The place was hopping on the inside and it seemed like a place that locals know to go to since the food would be good. Pricing was good too!“

“Moving from the west coast I was worried I wouldn’t find good Mexican restaurants. Thank god I found this gem! They smoke their meats fresh everyday and it’s amazing! Pastor, asada and chicken are all absolutely delicious! Highly recommended! Staff are great, environment is authentic and welcoming! If you’re looking for a great meal stop in and try it!“

“I’ve lived in the neighborhood for two years. Union is a classic and always hits, s/o tempeh bahn mi and the pimento cheese with Route 11 chips, but what compelled me to write a review is the vegetarian smash burger I had last night! THANK YOU GUYS FOR HAVING THIS OPTION. I love a black bean/veggie patty, but sometimes just want that “meat” experience and not a ton of places in the neighborhood have that. It was so, so good after running the half yesterday.“

I know if I want live entertainment, Harlym Bluez will have something going in each night thy are open….be it, be it karaoke, live band, line dancing, game night whatever…the owners and the staff strive for excellence, and want you to bring any issue you have to their attention….I LOVE IT!!! I will continue going back and introducing it to my friends!!“
