About Stanley's

Stanley's offers a unique dining experience with a range of delicious dishes. The Monday night "Nina's" dinner menu features Spanish white wine and creative cocktails. The fresh fava bean salad and rainbow trout are exceptional choices. The chicken cheesesteak is a standout favorite, along with the cheese fries topped with pickled red peppers and bacon. Known for their authentic cheesesteaks, Stanley's also impresses with fantastic specials like the Reuben sandwich. The cheesesteak is considered one of the best, with amazing quality, flavor, and generous portions. The cozy atmosphere, reminiscent of the 80s in a comforting way, along with top-notch customer service, make every visit enjoyable.

The staff is kind and attentive, providing a welcoming experience. Customers praise the flavorful food, particularly the Ted Hanson smoked turkey sandwich and the Philly cheesesteak. The bread is substantial, holding up well without becoming soggy. While some customers noted mix-ups with orders, the service remains generally friendly. The restaurant's proximity to the VMFA makes it a convenient option for those exploring the area. Many highly recommend trying the roasted pork as well, and the fresh, crisp lettuce wedge adds to the appeal. Overall, Stanley's is a place to enjoy great food in a relaxing setting.

Stanley’s might be inspired by the Philly Cheesesteak, but they have grown that Cheesesteak up and today when the power went out without warning, this very cool crew went into action (while giving Dominion Power a very needed piece of their mind) and did not miss a beat. Thank yaul for the mood light and the hot and delicious cheesesteak!

Few things are STILL this good in RVA!
I always stop here when I’m in town. They have a limited menu but that just means there’s no fluff; you really can’t go wrong with any of the sandwiches on the menu. The hoagie rolls are the best I’ve found in the city, the wedge is a must order and the interior makes it worth eating in. My favorites: the Ted Danson and the chicken cheesesteak.
Best cheesesteaks in Richmond! I love the cheesesteaks over a salad and over fries. They also have gluten free bread.
