“Visited Charred for the first time yesterday and I will definitely be back! Sarah C was an awesome server, her drink rec for the Watermelon Breeze was perfect. Fried green tomatoes and fried pickles were so good. I have struggled to find anywhere that has shrimp & grits, to my particular liking, since Lady Nawlins closed--I have to say, Charred's version really put me in the mind of my old fave! It was excellent! We got a hot Hawaiian pizza to go and that was super tasty, also! I will be back often, this might become my new lil go to spot based on the awesome cocktail variety! Sad it took me this long too check it out.“

“We ordered Q Barbeque from the Glen Allen location for my daughter’s graduation party. This restaurant has the absolute nicest most helpful employees. The food was phenomenal. “OMG! Their Harvest Season Wine Dinner was amazing! Manager Tony and staff were so friendly and helpful. The food and wine was delicious. I am so grateful to have participated in this budget friendly event. I now have a new favorite wine, Migration Pinot Noir. The little rubber duck on the delicious Pumpkin Espresso Martini was such a cute ending to an amazing meal. I highly recommend attending these events and I look forward to their winter event.“

“Good was delicious and plentiful. I was able to eat left overs for dinner today. The atmosphere was vintage but clean. The waitress took long breaks before checking on us. The food made up for the lack though. I will definitely be packing. The seafood pancake was yummmy!!! And so was the bulgogi and my bestie had bimbo which she loved. I and the kimchi was a lil spicy for me but bare able.“

Yet when we visited with our Moms on Mother’s Day, she went above and beyond to provide excellent service. From drinks, to food and extras, she was on point with a GREAT attitude! We are asking for her upon our return on July 4th.
Excellent waitstaff, and the management at this location is superb! We always have a wonderful fresh meal (with incredibly good pizza!!) One time the kitchen made a minor mistake with our order, and the manager went above & beyond to correct it promptly! Highly recommend! We frequent this location“

“Very good high quality sushi. The service was stellar. Very attentive while giving your desired space to explore their food at your own place. It is a small and quaint atmosphere with some touches of Japan decor with lovely portraits of the majestic Mt. Fuji. Their hand rolled sushi was exceptional and their presentation was on point. “The food was called in and had to wait, no big deal the phone had been off hook for 30 minutes prior. Once ordered went to pick up, had correct food on ticket but got home the fajitas had no rice, beans, toppings or tortillas to go with just the chicken and vegetables and my sons tacos i asked for hard shell plain with nothing but chicken- again, when opening them at home and they had cheese melted all in the chicken no way to pick it off. Had to take order back up there and they had left the sides ou and apologized for them not making it to the bag and said that they would remake the tacos (which took 20 more minutes after having to go back out to get this all fixed). Left a hefty tip the first time for a takeout order and was very upset my family and kids were at home waiting for dinner and i had to go back out and get everything fixed because we set down to eat and realized none of the food was correct. They act like thats not inconveniencing and laughed it off as a simple mistake. Make sure you check your orders and open all the containers, as well, otherwise you could find yourself out of dinner, gas, and an extra hour of time in the end.“

“The taste and food quality surprise me! Everything we order was delicious and the thickness of salmon is not like the chef trying to win the thinnest contest. We order 4 rolls for 2 adults and they all delicious with good quantity (got like 1-ish roll to bring home!) We order nuggets and fries for kids and they were delicious too! Very crispy. Better price than the other sushi places around here. I think this will be my sushi spot. The only thing that Im not impressed (apart from the atmosphere is a bit too dark) was the miso soup, not from the taste which was delicious but there was no seaweed at all and barely tofu.“

“First off the waitress who waited on us was nice and courteous. 2nd the complimentary salsa was not good at all. Didn’t get choice of red and or white. The food when it came was ok except for the lunch special number 8 and what ever special my daughter got. The mole sauce was just “awe full” and not like I Re breed from my days in CA. The tortilla that was fixed with my combo was corn and I don’t remember seeing that in the description but could of been. Chicken in side was dark meat though well done was a disappointment. Then before we left we order a order of the white dip and chips. We paid extra for them but the waitress brought us the dip to pay when we paid. When checking dip bag before leaving no chips so we asked the waitress took the left over chips from our table and put in a container and handed it to us. Final straw was hours later that evening I got really sick. So we won’t be back. And Mexican (authentic ) is my favorite. We do love El Patron and Casa Grande so to say that I was disappointed is exactly how we felt.“

“Sedona is definitely a go to spot for us… service is always good with some mishaps sometimes. But always minor enough to keep us coming back. I celebrated my sister’s birthday tonight with a party of 7 and our server Jaeda was on point. She was excellent with her timing for returning to our table for drink refills and our food came out at a good time. She was prompt with check-ins and excellent with service overall. Very calm and personable and made the birthday dinner quite enjoyable.
The only negative thing I have to say is I ordered a Gorgonzola salad to go with no walnuts and I didn’t look at it until I got home. It is very soggy looking even though dressing was on the side and hardly any lettuce.. It was so finely chopped it looked like it belonged as a taco topping and reeks so heavily of onions.
I had seen a customer order it in restaurant before and it looked delicious and full but this takeout just looked sad. Still will be coming back and am going to reach out tomorrow for a potential refund or gift card credit for the salad. Sedona is still a favorite of mine and service is definitely good and I’m thankful this salad mishap has truly been the only negative experience I’ve had of years of patronage to the establishment.
Aside from my ramble if y’all visit definitely ask for Jaeda because her service is stellar. There is also a food runner, I don’t remember his name, seems to work a lot there, always remembers me and my baby and comes to say hi to her and there’s Logan, a host there—always warm and excellent at greeting customers!“

“We had a large party meet there for dinner after a sports event. Paul did a great job helping us coordinate the event and timing. The staff that helped us - Paul, Keira, and Frances - were so friendly and patient! The food came out fast and was delicious. All around great experience. We were not disappointed!“

“We ordered carryout via Grubhub, ONLY because their website apparently only allows 3rd party online ordering. (Note to restaurant: set up ordering using your own website or use Toast, which is way better. ) We arrived at the time when GrubHub said the order would be ready. The hostess said it would be done in 5 minutes. 15 minutes LATER, we found out the order hadn’t even been sent to the kitchen yet. In the end, we got our food more than 1/2 hour late. To his credit, Jack (owner or manager) comped the entire order. I would have be satisfied with 50%, so I appreciate the full refund. I wish he hadn’t attempted to throw his employee under the bus first. She’s only as competent as her training. Food was delicious. So there’s that. I’ll go back, but probably only when I can eat in.“
