She truly made us feel at home, and her charismatic energy did not go unnoticed. Items are clearly labeled gluten free and the staff was very knowledgeable regarding allergy questions. We went for an early lunch on a Saturday and had no problem getting a table. Service was incredibly fast and the food was fresh and hot. Their lunch menu had some great deals on it, and the overall prices were reasonable for the quality. My only complaint is that the soda is from cans, but our server checked in multiple times offering refills, so it wasn't horrible!“

She not only was knowledgeable about the menu, but she handled my frazzled phone call with the best customer service I’ve experienced. “The chicken bacon cheddar ranch calzone was a culinary home run, while the chicken cheesesteak played it safe on second base. The true curveball, though, was the sandwich's presentation—a veritable Jackson Pollock in a hoagie roll. It was such a hot mess, I didn't even clock that they subbed in chicken for the steak I ordered until the whole thing started to disintegrate. I'm willing to step up to the plate again, though. Next time, I'll either skip the cheez whiz or actually verify what's buried beneath that cheesy, topping-laden mound!“

“We were looking for a place that serves fish because of a Friday during Lent. And we were very happy. Portions were HUGE and the flavor matched. Fish sandwich was more like a platter size and the fish and chips was way more that could be eaten. Service was great and the atmosphere was as to be expected.......a diner during afternoon lunch. “We had a table of 10 with some seating issues at first but were quickly accommodated by the manager. Our server Sarah P. was AMAZING and handled our large party professionally and patiently. She has such a friendly personality. The food was very delicious. We had burgers, chuckawalla chicken, grilled chicken, steak and mahi mahi across the table. The devils pass dip, chicken wings, bruschetta and truffle fries were a great start to our dinner. The chocolate decadence is a MUST dessert. It just melts in your mouth. “River City Diner is the real deal! The staff is friendly and helpful, the vibe is 100% diner, the food is great, and they have a full bar. Memorabilia is everywhere, there are TVs to provide some entertainment, and the staff is top notch. I looked at this place from the outside for years, with no desire to go in. “Great place to grab food or have apps and wait for to go. Also perfect for an impulsive pizza night when you're not up for cooking. Only downside is that it can get very busy at times which leads to longer wait times and a noisy environment - which is to be expected for a popular family-friendly spot.“

“No fancy ambience here. Just a really good pie! I went with the thin crust as my judge of this pizza. Service for pickup was fast. Between 20-25 minutes when I walked in. It was well done and the ingredient proportion was very good. Crust was light and crispy. I went with pepperoni, mushroom and green olives. The flavors were well mixed and not heavy from one area to another. In town for work and will definitely be back to this establishment!“

“This is a secret find. The staff is so lovely. I came here with my kid for lunch and the staff was really nice. The food was great too! I always love seeing employees and owner's that care about their buisness and I can tell these folks work hard. “What a great surprise brewery. Extremely friendly beertender (Gregory) with some great recommendations for brews. They also have seltzers and wine. We are not IPA fans but Gregory gave us 2 samples of their IPA's that were very very flavorful and not overly grapefruit flavorish. Blame it in Basil and Acid Rain. Both excellent. We had the Festbier and the Swift Creek Light Lager. Both excellent again! Great family atmosphere. Dog friendly outside due to no wall separating brew area from drinking area. “I had the opportunity to visit the Boathouse in Midlothian, VA. with my girls this past Saturday. It was a wonderful surprise, the food, service and atmosphere was excellent. We started off with appetizers, the New England Clam Chowder, Jalapeno Hush Puppies, and the Crab and Artichoke Dip. The waitresses were quick and very courteous. The food was hot, fresh, and very appetizing. The main courses was the Fish & Fries, Rock Fish and the Shrimp Platter. The dessert wasthe Bread Pudding, with Caramelized banana's, pecans, and caramel sauce. The atmosphere was looking out at the water. The beautiful couples were coming in to dine,. They were all dressed up for the Junior & Senior Prom. It was a steady flow of spectacular gowns and tuxs. It added that Special touch to the evening. I was concerned that it might be too rich but not at all. It was light and creamy. The crunchiness of the nuts was just right. The brownie is served with ice cream and whipped cream. The ice cream was ok. It had an ice texture and wasn't very creamy. I wish I remembered the name of my server. He was fantastic. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and dining experience.“

“Service is prompt and properly attentive to the little extras when requested. The pasta came with a large spoon for twirling. I did not have to ask. I had chicken Francesca. It was just perfect. There was pasta liquid in the dish which watered down the sauce which was too bad. I would think a couple of extra shakes will eliminate that water in the pasta bowl. There was a generous amount of chicken in this dish. My husband had the lasagna. He says it was among the best he has had. Be forewarned the serving looks bigger than it is due to the shallow bowl it is served in. My husband said the serving size was just right for him. The bread is yummy. I had a glass of house white wine. Best taste for an affordable price. All in all a very good experience. The wood is well prepared and the serving sizes just right for the price. This is a once a month destination for us.“

They have a huge selection of self-serve salsas which is a unique experience in a Mexican restaurant setting. “We just happened upon the adorable restaurant. The whole place is alive with color and personality. The reviews are right! Excellent food, quick service, and a sneaky frozen margarita. (You can't taste the alcohol, but it will sneak up on you). A huge menu with almost everything you could want. We tried the taquitos and pollo feliz and totally enjoyed our meal. Great flavors,seasonings,and salsas. If you're a spicy kind of person, no worries. They have a nice and spicy salsa as well. We will definitely put this restaurant in our Sunday rotation.“

“What can i say. It's a bar. I'll be honest, the bars in that area may just not be for me tbh. The music was literally SO LOUD, I couldn't hear the person I was with that was literally yelling at me. When I went to order a drink, there was a long wait, and not that they were busy, but the staff at 2 bars inside the establishment must have decided I was invisible, after returning to the side where the dj was to try again to order a drink, another long wait for no reason, and when I was served, it was like I was wasting their time. And to make it even worse, I'm not sure if the beer was skunked or I literally just had a bad taste in my mouth from the whole experience. I'm not one to make complaints on businesses, but I most definitely will never return. Best of luck folks.“

“Many menu options and the prices are reasonable. he sauces for their wings are delicious and put Buffalo Wild Wings to shame. I will say the only down side recently is that if you go during the weekend around lunch time it is pretty difficult to find parking due to a First Watch opening up in the same shopping center. “Had the pleasure of eating here on 4/21 for brunch. Parking was good. We had a 15 minute wait. Very nice atmosphere. They also have a really nice outdoor area. Our server Sophie was very nice and attentive. We ordered the donuts which were recommended and they were hot and delicious. I had the breakfast burger and my hubby had the B.E.L.T and both were really good. Prices were good too for the portion. We paid $42 for the both of us before tip. We will definitely return.“

There were people at our table that had a 7:00 res. CRAZY! The wait was the most frustrating part and the manager or owner took care of a table that had a VERY short wait and offered them a free round of drinks and only had a 20 min wait for a hibachi chef, but didn't even acknowledge our table that had waited over an hour for one. It would have been nice for him to stop by and say "apologies for the wait", "they will be here in X minutes ", or just something to acknowledge us since our wait had been so much longer than that table. We are grateful our small kids had the patience for this...surprisingly enough...because it would have been painful otherwise.“
