“The taste and food quality surprise me! Everything we order was delicious and the thickness of salmon is not like the chef trying to win the thinnest contest. We order 4 rolls for 2 adults and they all delicious with good quantity (got like 1-ish roll to bring home!) We order nuggets and fries for kids and they were delicious too! Very crispy. Better price than the other sushi places around here. I think this will be my sushi spot. The only thing that Im not impressed (apart from the atmosphere is a bit too dark) was the miso soup, not from the taste which was delicious but there was no seaweed at all and barely tofu.“

It is a small and quaint atmosphere with some touches of Japan decor with lovely portraits of the majestic Mt. Fuji. Their hand rolled sushi was exceptional and their presentation was on point. We would definitely recommend.“

“There’s rust on the buffets, the food was room temperature and the bathrooms look like they haven’t been cleaned in years. There is so much build up on the faucets and there is dried human waste smeared in the stalls. I left an entire plate of food sitting there because there was no way I was eating food prepared there after I saw the conditions presented to the public. I don’t even want to think about what the kitchen looks like.“

“The hibachi shrimp [and chicken] is out of this world! The cooking sauce they use is absolutely delicious. Big portions! I just picked up a takeout moments ago. Call ahead to order. Mine was ready well before time. To my other Chesterfield natives, you MUST GO SUPPORT this small family restaurant. Their two young daughters you may often see, doing their homework at a table in the dining area while their mom and dad are in the kitchen. Go help them when you will become a regular customer like me!“

“I just moved into this area & I love the entire shopping center the family that Own this are very friendly and patient .. everything is fresh the smoothies and the ramen and sushi are my favorite good portion size for the price ! “Kabuto’s is my favorite restaurant! But, my last experience was very disappointing. Part of the experience is to watch the show. But because there was a couple at the other end of the table (not with us), who brought babies with them, they did absolutely nothing. No fire, no volcano, absolutely nothing. Apparently they had asked the waitress if “the cook” could be quiet. I feel in this case, either don’t bring the infants, or sit alone at a table. This was not fair to the other customers. It was our 35th anniversary and I feel like we missed out on our experience.“

“We tried the teriyaki chicken, beef, and shrimp. The chicken was the most flavorful; however, the other two were still delicious. We watched them cook all our food fresh and service was great. They also give you large portions. If you like teriyaki flavor and rice, you'll love this place. They also have sides and deserts, but unfortunately we didn't try any of those. We'll be back for sure.“
