​I used to be hesitant to order fried chicken because I hate when the outside is crispy but the inside turns out dry. bb.q Chicken completely smashed those fears. I got the Korean garlic fries chicken, and it hit every single point perfectly: incredibly crunchy on the outside and impossibly juicy on the inside.
​Honestly, it’s so good it completely ruins standard American fried chicken for me which is usually expensive and dry anyway. The quality here makes the price 100% worth it.
​I’m already planning my next trip to try a half-and-half box (definitely getting the garlic glaze again!). If you want actual perfection and a satisfying meal, this is the spot. Highly recommend!“

“Wife wanted to slide by the ice cream place and then the Short Pump location here for dinner. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. I saw the “Red Beard’s Ghost” sauce and was contemplating it on some wings. The guy at the counter gave me a sample, and it was smooth with just a little heat. Flavorful. The ghost lured me in. I thought, no problem, I can handle this. I was wrong. So wrong. At home, I bit into a wing and suddenly I wasn’t in my kitchen anymore. I was on the deck of a pirate ship in the middle of a hurricane. My tongue was battling a flaming cutlass, my eyes were crying mutiny, and my soul was begging for mercy. Somewhere in the distance, I swear I heard a pirate laughing. This sauce didn’t just sneak up on me……it cannonballed into my mouth and raised its flag on my taste buds. Within minutes, I was sweating like I owed Red Beard back taxes in doubloons. 10/10 staff. 10/10 wings. 15/10 chance of seeing visions of pirate ghosts in your living room if you order this sauce. “Professionally: I found this establishment on a chance. But once I entered it was a complete vibe. Owners are genuinely nice & treats everyone with dignity & respect. Place makes you feel like you're welcomed home. Servers at this point remember my drink order and you can't forget about mama. I started off saying professionally, but this place really is like a family. Not to mention the food is banging. You gotta try mama Lo's seafood salad. I'm from bmore and its my starter!!

“I wanted some real spot fried chicken, not the uptight mama kitchen 2 pieces for twenty dollars and other so called hipster spots.This joint is in a gas station, so it's scares the local cary town polos and yoga pants away. I'm a hypocrite cuz I rock Lululemon sometimes too ?.I ordered chicken, biscuits, cornbread, fries. All were awesome. Fries were soggy yet still bangin like some subs in an 87 Cutlass. Chicken is 9 out of ten. Clean, not greasy. Biscuits and corn bread 7.5/10. The manager Francis held me down and was on top of his customer service game. Def recommend as a dope spot. It's a franchise too for those scared of the gas station. Word life.“

“Haven't had bone in wings in a while, wanted to give WS a shot. Reddit told me compared to BW3s, WS wings are better but BW3s has better sauce. For sauces, I like BW3s Nashville Hot, and Hot - some kick, but not nuclear. I usually opt for naked wings, well done for extra crispy and sauce on the side, here I got a 15 piece with Cajun on the side. My order included 3 flats and 12 drummies, which i thought was in my favor. Drummies > Flats but to each their own. The quality of the wings was as good as any I've had anywhere that weren't smoked first. Zero of my 15 had any kind of gristle or fatty yuckness I might set aside on a BW3 wing. Rarely do I get wings of high enough quality that I leave only a pile of bones, with these I did.

I dunked the first wing in my side of Cajun and thought I got a comparable Nashville Hot sauce. Coated the rest with and tossed. By wing 3 I was underwhelmed by the sauce. It was ok, but not enough flavor or heat. I'm not into chicken so hot I have to sign a waiver, but I like some heat.

Some TVs in here, but small no beer, and not really a dine in vibe. If you're ordering to go like I did, I recommend getting your sauce on the side to preserve the crisp.

If you want to sit, watch sports, have some wings and beer - B-Dubs wins. If you're willing to take your wings home, Wingstop by a mile.“

“I came in for a pickup at around 8:50pm on 3/24/26. From where I was standing, it looked as if they only had two people on shift…a young lady on the fryer and a young man in the front taking orders. I didn’t like the fact that they were or appeared to be short staffed on this evening. Shame on the company/manager for not assisting on such a busy night. My food was hot and fresh and I want to thank the employees that were working this evening for all that they do. I see you and I appreciate you for your hard work.
