“Absolutely phenomenal experience at CHIC’N CRAVE in Petersburg! I placed a large order just 30 minutes before closing—four chicken sandwiches, a 20-piece chicken tender meal, and their amazing honey biscuits—and everything was fresh, hot, and made to order. That kind of care and quality, especially so close to closing time, really impressed me. The food? Top-tier. The chicken sandwiches were perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the tenders were juicy with a golden crunch. But the honey biscuits stole the show—soft, buttery, and just the right touch of sweetness. What really stood out, though, was the service. ​I used to be hesitant to order fried chicken because I hate when the outside is crispy but the inside turns out dry. bb.q Chicken completely smashed those fears. I got the Korean garlic fries chicken, and it hit every single point perfectly: incredibly crunchy on the outside and impossibly juicy on the inside.
​Honestly, it’s so good it completely ruins standard American fried chicken for me which is usually expensive and dry anyway. The quality here makes the price 100% worth it.
​I’m already planning my next trip to try a half-and-half box (definitely getting the garlic glaze again!). If you want actual perfection and a satisfying meal, this is the spot. Highly recommend!“

I saw the “Red Beard’s Ghost” sauce and was contemplating it on some wings. The guy at the counter gave me a sample, and it was smooth with just a little heat. Flavorful. The ghost lured me in. I thought, no problem, I can handle this. I was wrong. So wrong. At home, I bit into a wing and suddenly I wasn’t in my kitchen anymore. I was on the deck of a pirate ship in the middle of a hurricane. My tongue was battling a flaming cutlass, my eyes were crying mutiny, and my soul was begging for mercy. Somewhere in the distance, I swear I heard a pirate laughing. This sauce didn’t just sneak up on me……it cannonballed into my mouth and raised its flag on my taste buds. Within minutes, I was sweating like I owed Red Beard back taxes in doubloons. 10/10 staff. 10/10 wings. 15/10 chance of seeing visions of pirate ghosts in your living room if you order this sauce. “Not much on atmosphere, but the food is absolutely delicious. Ordered fries late on Wednesday and they were nicely seasoned. Came back Friday, July 3rd 2026 for a chicken shawarma platter and had it with tabbouleh and hummus (also ordered baba ghaoush) . Pita was hot and very good… they were out of markouk bread. Hope they have it next time. Everything is super fresh and flavorful. The tabbouleh is like 1% grains and the rest herbs and tomato and chopped lettuce… very good and refreshing on a hot day.

They never look full or busy, but I hope this changes. Or they do a bang-up takeout business. This is a great addition to the neighborhood!!!“

“Haven't had bone in wings in a while, wanted to give WS a shot. Reddit told me compared to BW3s, WS wings are better but BW3s has better sauce. For sauces, I like BW3s Nashville Hot, and Hot - some kick, but not nuclear. I usually opt for naked wings, well done for extra crispy and sauce on the side, here I got a 15 piece with Cajun on the side. My order included 3 flats and 12 drummies, which i thought was in my favor. Drummies > Flats but to each their own. The quality of the wings was as good as any I've had anywhere that weren't smoked first. Zero of my 15 had any kind of gristle or fatty yuckness I might set aside on a BW3 wing. Rarely do I get wings of high enough quality that I leave only a pile of bones, with these I did.

I dunked the first wing in my side of Cajun and thought I got a comparable Nashville Hot sauce. Coated the rest with and tossed. By wing 3 I was underwhelmed by the sauce. It was ok, but not enough flavor or heat. I'm not into chicken so hot I have to sign a waiver, but I like some heat.

Some TVs in here, but small no beer, and not really a dine in vibe. If you're ordering to go like I did, I recommend getting your sauce on the side to preserve the crisp.

If you want to sit, watch sports, have some wings and beer - B-Dubs wins. If you're willing to take your wings home, Wingstop by a mile.“

“I came in for a pickup at around 8:50pm on 3/24/26. From where I was standing, it looked as if they only had two people on shift…a young lady on the fryer and a young man in the front taking orders. I didn’t like the fact that they were or appeared to be short staffed on this evening. Shame on the company/manager for not assisting on such a busy night. My food was hot and fresh and I want to thank the employees that were working this evening for all that they do. I see you and I appreciate you for your hard work. The general manager had no clue of what professionalism and courtesy is and customer service the poorest service I've ever had and a piece of power I've ever visited in my 50 years. I was demanding a tip at the counter and then had to argue with a delivery driver who bragged about how much she gets and tips and she always ask her customers for tips when she delivers. I thought threw good customer service you earn your tip. Not being confrontational with a customer at the counter who's picking their own order up in front of the general manager who doesn't care.
