“This place is good for family dinners. The booth is large enough for all 5 of us. The menu is varied. The waitstaff is adequate, although he forgot to bring the soup course before the main course. The numerous TV screens occasioned some raucousness among the guests.“
“We had a wonderful lunch. I enjoyed everything I ordered. The Carolina sauce on the wings was so delicious; the wings were crispy too. The mahi mahi tacos were packed with flavor and the paired nicely with the slaw and sauce. My fish was flaky and moist. The shell with my tacos were nice and crispy too. Those black beans look plain but I promise they had tons of flavor. The pimento cheese was my favorite in the trio dipping tray. This was my first time trying a Boba drink and it was delicious! The drink was sweet but not too sweet. Tried lots of dishes and I was very impressed with how well they seasoned everything! Staff was nice and appropriate. They were definitely busy but our apps came out in time for us to socialize and wait. The staff members were definitely working hard.“
“The first on our mission to complete the Richmond Beer Trail - and it was a goodie! The Triple Berry Sour packed a good punch and my partner loved her Rose Lager. Tables were ginormous - so we shared with someone and still had plenty of room to lay out a board game we brought with us. Honestly, this is a great spot to just hangout + drink - we didn't try the food, but looks like you can order from a little automated kiosk in the back to make it easy! Plenty of indoor seating with an accessible ramp and a few tables on the patio if the weather was better. Appreciated the bartenders recommendations on what to try as a first-timer. Overall great experience and one you must try if doing the trail! (Or just generally perusing the Scott's Addition brewery scene of course :))“
“Genuinely some of the best beer in Richmond. The competition is high in the city, but Basic manages to create a great atmosphere, while serving a wide array of great drinks. Great food, great drinks, with reasonable prices. We’re always happy to see friendly staff when we stop in for a beer and a pizza. This is a sleeper hit in the Manchester area that deserves all the love!“
“I'm usually not a big fan of kombucha. The taste can have a bite that's often not pleasurable however here at Ninja Kombucha they got it spot on.The customer service I was exceptional with offering that didn't come off as a sale pitch.I really enjoyed these kombuchas and when I returned 3 weeks later purchased more.“

“Ardent is my favorite brewery in Virginia. I love Pilsners and lagers and Ardent brews some of the best. I feel like most breweries concentrate on IPAs but Ardent provides a nice mix of all, so all types of beer drinkers should be satisfied. It's a great space to hangout whether you are inside or outside, there's plenty of seating options. All the staff is friendly and attentive, it must be a great working environment as a lot of the staff have been there for many years. There's plenty of food options as well as Ardent has a nice menu of sandwiches, salads and appetizers. Also within the same parking lot you have Eazzy Burger and ZZQ BBQ which are top notch! You can pickup beer to go and they also provide delivery options as well.Visit the Barrel Room around the corner for some of their beers while watching comedy or singing along with karaoke night.Fun, food and great beers. What more can you ask for?“

“Outstanding brewery! When Stone decided to bring their East Coast operations to Richmond, VA was exciting news and they keep making great beers. The brewery has a supercool industrial vibe with plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating. As always, the beers are fantastic, but the best thing is the "brewery only" beers you can get. Servers are great, as is everything else about it. We relocated a few years ago, so haven't been in the Richmond area since 2018, but we loved our visit during a trip back recently.“
