Been a favorite brewery of ours since the beginning. Always have a great beer selection no matter what type of beer you like and Proven Theory may be the best IPA on the planet!
I am a big fan of Benchtop beer and was so excited to try out the Richmond location. It definitely does not disappoint ! The beer is always exceptional and goes extremely well with the gourmet hot dogs (vegan options as well). I highly recommend you make the trip to this location and check it out!
I was just there a couple of days ago! Great beers! I got the Dirty hot dog with onions added!

Benchtop Brewing is a modern taproom with a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Their brews are excellent, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They offer a range of beer styles to suit any taste, including unique and funky farmhouse options. To accompany your drinks, they serve delicious hot dogs, including a popular option with chili and queso. Located next to Hatch Local in downtown Southside Richmond, Benchtop Brewing is a great spot for small to medium-sized groups looking to try something new. There are indoor and outdoor seating options, plus board and card games to keep you occupied. Events like book sales add a nice touch. While the Sunday five-dollar beer deal has changed, it's still a solid place to stop for good beers, though some find the hot dogs overpriced. The bubbler seltzer is refreshing but has an artifical flavor aftertaste.
