“This place is not tasty by accident—this is tested and perfected, for sure. Shrimp and grits are 4.5 of 5 for me, really good but I’m comparing to my all time fave shrimp and grits dish which isn’t fair. I think lots of people will really enjoy that dish. Lots of shrimp, flavor and saucy.Now, the chicken tenders: AMAZINGThe ranch and Korean spicy sauce are very good, they’re not playing.Love to see a local place doing it up. “My Muslim community, SHRIMPS restaurant has much more than shellfish The fish is exceptional and very deliciously seasoned. I've had the fish poboy and the fishettes. The fish for both meals was fresh whiting. They also have fresh salmon, chicken, turkey chops and lots more! Please check them out and support this black owned establishment. “I used Ms. Girlee's catering for a family gathering of 30, after they came highly recommended. I couldn't have been more impressed. From my initial phone call with Helen the owner, to her friendly staff at pick up, the service was top notch. The food was out of this world, I would give highlights but honestly we didn't have one bite of anything that didn't leave us gasping over the taste. The chicken was so crispy and traveled incredibly well. My aunt said the green beans were the best she's ever had. The portions were also very generous. I can't say enough about this business, it was an incredible experience all around. We will be dining here more often!“

“I ordered the baked chicken, cabbage and mashed potatoes with gravy, the food was delicious.The food was seasoned well, it looks like a whole in the wall, but the food is good. Just mop the floor with some bleach, it was sticky and all I wanted to do was tip toe out of the facility.“
“Visited for Sunday brunch. The atmosphere was very nice, the music wasn’t too loud. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was good as were the drinks. I had the Boney James, which is fried fish, grits and potatoes. My sisters both had the Georgia on My Mind, which was the shrimp and cheesy grits. All in all a good experience.Parking: Free parking on 3rd level of Retreat Hospital across Robinson Street.“
“Found this great place for food. Very close to the Botanical garden. There was a lil wait bc of the amount of customers. But, the wait was well worth it. Food was delicious! Sweet potato fries were amazing! So were my big fried chicken wings. Definitely coming back!“
“The fried chicken here is juicy and delicious! Basically you walk in, order at a kiosk, seat yourself, and they call your number when your order is ready. Very easy to order and understand the menu at the kiosk. Digitizing their ordering service though creates an environment where tables aren’t turned over necessarily. Lots of syrupy/saucy/sticky meals leads to a pretty sticky table and floors. The food, however, was phenomenal. We got the smashville sandwich and chicken w/ French toast and both were 10/10 on flavor and portion size! The kitchen staff was working hard and pumping orders out quickly. They all had a smile on their face too. Would recommend if you’re craving fried chicken!“
