“Menu choice was consistent as in past visits, however this visit was a bit disappointing overall. Slipping and falling while turning the corner to the restrooms was not how I expected to end the visit. While attempting to get up, noticed entirely too much water left on the floor (same as in restroom), and NO "wet floor" signage placed. I alerted a staff member of what happened and that signage needs to be up. Staff needs to ensure to NOT leave excessive water when mopping and throw up signs.“

“My day started out pretty hectic, but I received the best service from 2 very friendly ladies at RVA that put a smile on my face. I only had time for a pumpkin spice iced coffee pick me up, but it was delicious! I HIGHLY recommend this place just for the vibes and sweet service alone! Next time, I’ll be trying the food.“

I went to there soul food buffet on Saturday and oh my goodness, my whole family was talking about it!
Yall, this is the place and there prices were well worth it.
About $22 for each person for the buffet.“

“I was a little hesitant about what to expect. When we arrived, there was no one at the hostess stand so we had to wait to be seated. Things started looking up when our waitress came to the table. She was amazing. We got several things so we could really see how we liked it. We started with the cornbread. It was a little on the seeet side for me. The shrimp were okay. My daughter really enjoyed those. For our meals, my daughtwr got the turkey wings and I got the parmesan garlic lamb chops. My daughter really enjoyed the turkey wings. My lamb chops were well seasoned but were cooked well done (I ordered medium rare). The drinks were very enjoyable. Overall, it was a decent food experience. I will visit again on another day of the week to give them a second try.“

“We visited Family Secrets after my son’s college graduation, and the service alone made this a wonderful experience for our family.

The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, and from the moment we walked in, the owner and staff made us feel genuinely appreciated. The owner was especially kind and celebratory toward my son, even clapping for him and congratulating him on graduating, which truly meant a lot to us.

Our waiter remained patient and gracious throughout the meal, even with some of our family members making several special requests and changes to their orders.

Not every dish was perfectly seasoned to our personal taste, but the hospitality, professionalism, and warmth more than made up for that. Good customer service is hard to find these days, and this restaurant absolutely delivered in that area.

You can tell they genuinely care about people, and we would definitely return again.“

We were recommended to check out Frozay after being around the corner at Rug and Roll, also an amazing experience.

The staff was friendly and attentive. Food came out quickly and the drinks were made perfectly.

We ordered the spinach dip as a starter and shared the Red Snapper, Baked with Lemon Pepper which came with Mac and broccoli. The red snapper was baked to perfection. I would order it again. The mango sangria was tasty.

I definitely recommend the experience, food, and service. A new beer selection is coming soon.“
