“Surf Rider recommended to us by a friend. We were so pleased. The Seafood so fresh and amazing. We had oysters and tuna bites for an appetizer and brought home flounder plate. Huge piece of flounder cooked perfectly. Our server, Brandi, took great care of us. She was so busy and yet so attentive to us. Can't wait to go back. Also beautiful view!”

“If you are looking for takeout this is the place within 50 miles, most Combo meals are 13 bucks or less, with generous portions and it's just plain kick ass food.
If you want to eat in your are likely to be sitting alone unless you bring your own companions.
The place is non stop take out but seats about 16 people but locals keep them busy all day and night but go home to watch TV on the way home from work.”

“The lady at the first window didn’t give us the correct change, my boyfriend very kindly went back and explained to her the mistake, in which she responded by muttering “God forbid I don’t give you a dollar” then at the 2nd window the male threw both of our straws into the car window saying “Kobe” after throwing the first straw onto the floor then saying “Shaq” as he threw the second onto the floor of the car. I have no idea what this means or why he threw the straws at us or said this. And I don’t know why she was so rude about us kindly asking for our correct change. Horrible experience.”

We have tried numerous places in VA for the last 6yrs trying to find the same taste as back home (Cali) and was constantly disappointed till we tried Franks. y'all are the only place that delivers that same quality and taste we were missing/looking for.
