When you first walk into El Rancho, it has the typical Mexican decorative flare, with bright colors and walls textured to look like stucco. Depending on the day of the week and time you arrive, you may have to wait, but it's never for very long. (Don't even try to get into the parking lot on the evening of the Poquoson Christmas parade!) The food is delicious, not greasy. Every meal is good. Chips served with two sauces,mild sweet and tangy and medium hot salsa. Service is great, friendly and attentive to please, fairly quickly served hot. Clean and decorated, with seasonal decor.We have been back many times. Recommend for all who like Mexican dishes.
