Main thing for me at this place is price. 30.00 dollars (no tip, no drink, take out) for a basic Jamaican meal with sides - Saturday lunch. Oddly, Jamaican food is always at a premium price in the US. But seriously, I have done sit down Jamaican for less in NYC. This will be my last time getting a meal here.
Paid 18 dollars for a jerk dinner. One piece of a leg and the rest was bone, I kid you not, wasn't even spicy to be jerk chicken. The cabbage was bland, and the rice and peas were not what I expected either.... tasteless! Needless to say, it was disappointing because I love carribean food and eat it often. I only tried the place cause I was close. The place looks nice inside, good music playing, and clean. I can say that, but next time, I'll go ahead and stick to my normal spot....read full review
