“Port Arthurs is my favorite Chinese Restaurant. I love the fact that they are locally owned and have been here for as long as I can remember . They are a staple in Newport News and never disappoint. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and menu is extensive. Y’all, it’s that’s good! .“

“IMO the Yock is not good. It’s doesn’t have the flavor.
I love the Fried rice, Egg Foo Young, Chicken teriyaki…. I haven’t tried the rest of the items but I’m working on it.
The lady taking orders is very nice. The place is appears to be clean.“

“Great food, reasonable price.
No atmosphere. Moderately clean in the dining area. Limited seating. I have a rice pot and their rice is better than mine.
Local food spot. Lots of traffic because it is good.
Parking: Shopping center with plenty of parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible“

“Plenty of fresh and tasty food to enjoy on the grill or in the hot pot. The servers kept up with all the people’s orders and kept the food coming. Definitely recommend“

“Food is really good here. More of a takeout place than a sit down and eat place, but they do have tables if you're so inclined. Very reasonable, too.
Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible handicapped parking right outside the front door. Bathroom is large enough to get a wheelchair in and out of easily.“

“Best shrimp shumai that I've had, I love the little pieces of shrimp in each bite. The waitress was very attentive. I appreciate that she heard a little cough from me, she came to check if my ramen was too spicy? It wasn't, I was just being greedy lol. Definitely will return. All my food was very flavorful and had the perfect temperature. My new favorite spot for some good Ramen ??“

“I ordered a family meal. The general tso chicken was very good, enjoyed the heat and it wasn’t overly salty. I liked that there was a choice of rice! The hibachi was delicious, vegetables fresh, crisp and the meat tender. The chicken soba noodles were excellent with a nice ratio of meat and noodles but a little salty. The last item in the family meal was egg rolls. They were crispy but not a fan of the mushy inside. That won’t stop me from ordering their food again. I’m a fan!“

“In these post-covid times of it being virtually impossible to eat out for less than $15 First Wok is an exception to the seemingly new rule. The lunch and dinner combos gotta be one of the best bang-for-your-bucks in the area. You’re telling me I can get a beef and broccoli, pork fried rice, and an egg roll for $10.25 (dinner combo)???? Boneless spare ribs, vegetable fried rice, and wonton soup for $8.25 (lunch combo)??? That’s insane value.
Additionally, who would have thought that a Chinese restaurant would become my go to chicken wing spot? Wings have become exorbitantly expensive everywhere but again, First Wok remains the exception. Their garlic sauce wings are SO GOOD. I spooned the leftover sauce into my gullet like an animal. Don’t get started on the chicken wing combos either… 8 wings + chicken fried rice for $10.55 is a steal.“

“We got alot of food here for a decent price. The food was amazing and you could tell it was freshly made. My only complaint was the crab Rangoon weren't as sweet or crabby as we usually get at other places. Besides that we will definitely be going again!“

“Close to the hotel we stayed at. Standard Chinese menu. The wonton soup was tasty. I liked the eggrolls. The sesame chicken was good. The beef lo mein was good also. A few tables for eating in the restaurant. The sweet and sour chicken had small pieces of chicken but the chicken that was in it was really good. The lady that took our order was friendly. They do offer a small military discount which is much appreciated. The fried rice was just okay. The prices were really good.“

“I judge a Chinese place by how fresh the veggies are and how tasty the non-fried meat is. The Szechuan chicken I have pictured is as fresh and delicious as it looks!I rate this a cut above most Chinese places in Hampton. You have to get near Fox Hill for better.Staff is always super friendly. Note there's no dine-in option.“
“The place could use some spick and span. The customer service could use a little more work. The customer service was not bad and it's not good. You will see what I'm talking about once you visit. Anyway, I ordered the vegetables with garlic sauce and it was delicious with soy sauce. The vegetable egg roll was good(I usually do not like eggrolls). One thing I like about the guy who prepared my food was that he put a napkin at the bottom of the eggroll bag so the eggroll would not be so greasy. I also ordered the general tos. This general tos is different from what I'm used to because this one is very sweet. I've never known the general tos to be sweet and this is overly sweet. He over did it. I'm not a fan of foods that are too sweet. His general tso tastes more like honey chicken. It tasted like he put the whole bag of sugar in there. So What I did was add soy sauce and it made it a little better from the little bit of soy sauce I had. Don't get me wrong, the general tso wasn't bad it's just that I don't like food that's way too sweet. I know younger people would like it because they like sweet foods like that. I would definitely return to this place and recommend it. I just would not return for the general tso.“

“My favorite Chinese place is closed on Tuesdays, so I decided to give this one a try. I got the fried dumplings, they are perfect, egg drop/wonton soup combo is good and loaded with dumplings and egg. General Tso’s was ok. I’m not an egg roll fan but their egg roll was delicious. Crispy and flavorful.“

“I absolutely love this place. Just got off the phone with the sweet woman who always answers and I hadn't ordered in a while (had surgery). She even remembered my usual order.
Took time out of her day to speak with me person to person, they are always happy with positive attitudes, have always been friendly when I walked in for pick up in the past, and it's family owned!!!
Great people, great food, great prices. I love this restaurant!!!“

“Ngl this is by far the best Chinese restaurant I’ve ever purchased from. Food is ALWAYS hot but the wait is not long. I live less than 3 mins from this store so I order here a lot and they have never gotten my food wrong. Also the prices are reasonable.“

“•This no doubt be an old school restaurant, but, it's uniqueness in food is far beyond the norm - has been for years. •No hard to chew food (like No. 1 kitchen's General So's Chicken), (etc.) just very good flavor. •I hope that the people in this restaurant never leave. •The cooks got the skills!! •It's a shame that they can not expand productivity when they get really busy, but, it's worth the wait!!“

“Believe the hype!I don’t write reviews unless the food quality is actually great. This is the freshest Chinese food I’ve had in this area, it’s exactly the nostalgic kind of Chinese food I’ve been craving and can’t find anywhere else. The serving size was perfect for the price. With the inflation you can’t expect to feed a family of four with $20 so it’s unrealistic for people to ask of that. However if it’s an occasional treat this is perfect! The location is great, and the building is what you’d expect out of a traditional take out place. People are rude with their reviews because they expect something this place isn’t.The egg rolls that everyone loves to complain about in the reviews are actually a very specific type of egg roll that their uncultured behind probably aren’t aware of.“

“When all the Chinese restaurants closed because of ignorant people claiming that Chinese were the cause of Covid19, and did not want to eat their food. I promised that the first Chinese restaurant I could find open I was going to get myself some Chinese food. Well they were the only one open. I was more than happy to order from Super China. The food is always good. The service is good as well. I have never ordered anything that wasn't up to par.“
