“I can't say enough good things about this place! Great food that taste great and great service. I especially like how the husband and wife remembers who you are and what we usually order. They also gives you candy along with fortune cookies. I would give them more than 10 ☆s if I could.“

“I'm normally loyal to very few Chinese spots, but they've been really disappointing lately. For months, I've been craving GOOD chinese food. So I decided to give this spot a try after reading other reviews. I made a delivery through uber eats. Everything tasted so good, it had my partner and I smacking the table with almost every bite. The general tso and orange chicken were still fresh and crispy when the food arrived. The teriyaki beef was cooked to perfection. The egg rolls were crab rangoon were so delicious. This is the taste I've been craving! China house has found a loyal customer in me. I'll come back to edit this post in the future to comment on their consistency. “The food was good but I ordered from the lunch menu and they have more rice than food. The beef and broccoli lunch special was 3/4 rice and 1/4 broccoli with some beef. It tasted delicious but very disappointing since the ratio of rice and entree were disproportionate. Not sure if I'll get their food again. I don't want to pay $8 for basically rice. That c is why I give it 3 stars“

“This place takes me to my childhood back in the day when I lived in Lambert's Point and there was this place called the Rice Bowl on the corner of 39th and Boydens Ferry rd. accross the street from the corner market. This is where I fell in love with fried rice, small smoke, chop suey and of course yak, Norfolk style. So if you're feeling a little nostalgic for old style neighborhood Chinese takeout you should go there.“

“First time here. Ordered online, easy. They called me to make sure I was coming because they were about to close.

Got the Singapore Pancit, Seafoof Delight, and egg drop soup. Pancit was fine, nice kick. Seafood Delight is quite delightful. Eating the leftovers now and still tasty.

Egg drop soup was uneventful, something slightly off to me, cheap eggs maybe.

I’ll definitely be ordering the Seafood Delight again 😋“

“Best general Tso’s chicken I’ve ever had, and it’s consistently good. I order a few times a month and their quality of food is the best Chinese food in Hampton roads. Their customer service is always excellent and their prices are reasonable.“

“I ordered Yummy Wok through doordash, but my dasher disappeared so I had to put in a new order. I called the restaurant to tell them what happened and they were super friendly and already aware of the situation. They made me a new meal and it was delivered hot. This is the second time I've ordered from them and it is delicious! Good meal portions and super tasty.“

What ever you want to call it. I change up the order a lot as well. The beef and broccoli is awsome, the fried dumplings are top tier and the sauce they put in with them is also top tier. Crabrangoons are never burnt. Sweet m sour chicken is always a go to for the kids ( and my self as i eat some of their food) general tso is awsome. The fried rice and lo mein never taste like dirty noodle water, ever. I have 0 complaints. Every time I order. Please show them some love!“

“my dad is visiting my sister and i here and we made a rather large order for the whole family, but unfortunately upon arriving back home we noticed just one of the meals was missing. no big deal to us because we called and they said we could come back to get the missing item!! and not only that, but my dad who went inside both times said the person he spoke to (i believe it was the owner) was extremely kind and apologetic and took complete fault for the missing item. we were given two (so one extra) meals and two extra egg rolls for the inconvenience. thank y’all!“

As I sat in the lobby I could hear the children of the owners practicing the piano and my guess would be the clarinet. It was lovely. Very talented. It added to the ambiance. Great place 10/10. “Food was good but check your bill. They charged my husband for 3 meals and we only had two meals. He did not have his glasses and he should have noticed that the price was high for two meals. Anyways, we only noticed when we went home to Montreal so I figured going back would be a waste of time and gaz. It makes me a little angry that the employees make mistakes like that. So, check your bill right away.“
