We’ve been going to What-a-Burger since the ‘70’s and have always loved it. Now that it’s under new management, it’s not the same. First thing they did was change the pickles on the burger. They cook the hamburgers til they’re done, but not browned. The bottom bun is always cold and most of the time seem dry. Sad to say they’ve lost a lot of customers. I won’t be surprised if they end up having to close. Such a shame.
staff was friendly. accuracy with the order. taste the same as back in the day. support local business whenever possible.
One of the best burgers I've had in a while...just enough grease to make it taste good but not running all over the place...

What-A-Burger offers customizable burgers with fresh toppings and a simple menu. The tater balls are a must-try, and many customers appreciate the excellent value for the price compared to fast food chains. The order taker is entertaining and helpful, with staff described as friendly and excellent. However, there is no seating or drive-thru available, making it a great spot for a quick carry-out meal. While the atmosphere might not be the best, with some mentioning issues in the neighborhood and parking area, What-A-Burger is still considered one of the best burger joints in the area for takeout. Some reviews express disappointment in the food's flavor, particularly with items like the hamburger and the Georgia peach shake, but the restaurant is noted for its timely service. Overall, it's a place that could benefit from a deep cleaning, especially in the standing area.
