“We really enjoy the Chesapeake Restaurant when we come down to stay at Tides Inn! A wonderful getaway from Alexandria VA! My wife got the fettuccini and I ordered the catch of the day, Rockfish. Delicious items and the service is awesome from CC and Meghan! Wonderful staff always at the Tides Inn! If you haven't been I highly recommend it!“
“My husband and I LOVE Dredge!! The owners and staff couldn’t be friendlier and the food is consistently delicious. The atmosphere is fantastic - you instantly feel comfortable and welcomed. Whether you’re dining at the bar or sitting at a table, you’re bound to have a wonderful time. Their specials are always great, but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The best!!“
“My family enjoyed having lunch at the Fish Hawk Oyster Bar located down the steps next to the pool. Beautiful Waterview and seafood.we ordered baskets of fried oysters, fried shrimp, and calamari. Also had several dozen raw oysters. Afterwards, we sat on the lawn in big comfortable chairs under shade trees enjoying the breeze , and views of the water and marina!“
“Came for dinner and was quickly seated. Lots of group seating as well as tables and booths in the back. Definitely off season as there was a lot of open space that is likely filled during season. First off, this is a bar. And as a result, it was bar food. Not that it's a bad thing, but I think it's a misnomer to call it a restaurant that serves alcohol. It's the other way and the food is limited to quick, bar foods. It was tasty, but the variety is definitely limited. Started with the rum punch and fried oysters. Would highly recommend both. Then went with the fish tacos which were again good, but was hoping to get some more substantial food. Finished off with a micro slice of key lime pie. Tasted really good! But I doubt I would do it again. Great place for drinks and have food if you want a bite.“

“I can not say enough good things about Miss Mary's. Amazing! Anything smoked...get it! My go-to is the salmon, fresh & smoked. Tried the smoked trout & it was so good I even bought a fillet for my parents to try.I love knowing where my fish is coming from & how its fished.“

“This place is a 10. Exceptional food and service. Our waitress Tia was awesome. Great ambiance. The legit, authentic and delicious lumpia was a very nice surprise. The jumbo shrimp cocktail, the shrimp, filet and scallop kabob, the jumbo beer batter shrimp, and potato au gratin, loaded baked potato etc etc were all perfect. My highest possible recommendations. We will definitely be back.“
“I live locally and had to run “into town” for a few things. My husband and I decided to make an impromptu day date of the trip and stop somewhere for a bite together.I will admit, this was not our first choice, we actually checked out 2 different places on the Main Street strip but one was closed and the other was only carry out (they had 3 or 4 “tables” but they were literally the size of a small tire lol.)We finally settled on Donna’s and I’m so glad we did!I ordered a burger and fries, my husband ordered a crab cake sandwich and sweet potato fries. We also ordered hush puppies as an appetizer. As a Maryland native I am happy to say that the crab cake was amazing. NO FILLER and good sized for the price. The burger was more than I expected it to be, I was honestly fearful it would be a premade patty (which always seem to taste more like grease than beef) and I was happy to find out that I was worried for nothing. The burger was bigger than the bun and, according to the menu description, a half pound in weight (before cooking) and beyond tasty with the perfect crunchy sear!! My meal was $14, the crab cake was $20, and the hush puppies were $5 (for 10). We both ordered beverages and, while I’m not one to typically gush over unsweetened iced tea (always my beverage of choice at restaurants) the iced tea was PHENOMENAL! It actually tasted like what fresh iced tea bags smell like when you open the box (instead of dirty tea water like you find in most restaurants).All in all, I am so glad we ended up at Donna’s on main and, at a reasonable $40 for our meal, we will definitely be returning to experience more of the menu in the near future.“
“This place was a great spot. It's a really cute restaurant with a beautiful outdoor seating area right by the water. The oyster soup was good, raw oysters were delicious. The scallops were huge and perfectly cooked. The waitress was friendly and efficient. Only a reason a star is down is because they couldn't give a side salad instead of chips on the side of the roll- seems like something they should be able to substitute. Also the fire pits were not working and it was a bit chilly.“
“We stopped by for an unplanned visit and to capture the last 15 minutes of the sunset. It was a lively place, casual, and welcoming. The Bloody Mary was excellent, great choice of beers, and the friend oysters were fresh, light, & tasty.“
