“Ordered crab cakes, fries and hushpuppies absolutely delicious and our server Monica was terrific, the owners are welcoming and friendly and we have eaten there several times, prices are acceptable and other customers are also friendly and they treated everyone like family ?“
“The food was excellent and my server did a good job. However there were several people sitting at the bar that were drunk, loud and out of control. Some of them were employees. Their language was horrible and I ate my dinner as they loudly discussed women’s nipples. So inappropriate in a restaurant! If I ever return, it definitely won’t be for dinner if this is how the restaurant is allowed to operate. I ate my entire meal listening to ongoing cursing in every sentence and other vulgarities. If the food wasn’t so good I would have walked out. The owners need to take a long look at their staff before the full season starts or you’ll be loosing a lot of business.“
“Reedville, VA is a fishing village and the Reedville Market is right on the water. As expected, the seafood was very fresh and delicious. The crab cake dinner is top notch with two 4 ounce cakes and decent sides. The broiled seafood platter included a nice variety of different seafoods. The service was decent though not expert. TIP Be sure to ask for a table overlooking the water. The view is delightful.“
“A small convenience store look packed with everything you may need! Great food made from scratch at the counter in the back with friendly people! A must visit and a must stop for a bite to eat! Stop by and I guarantee you won’t regret it!“
“This is my favorite restaurant in town. Actually I can't think of many places that are better even when we go to the big city I love Casey's. Their food is great. The atmosphere is fun clean and I love everything about it. Hope you guys stay there for a long time.“
“I live locally and had to run “into town” for a few things. My husband and I decided to make an impromptu day date of the trip and stop somewhere for a bite together.I will admit, this was not our first choice, we actually checked out 2 different places on the Main Street strip but one was closed and the other was only carry out (they had 3 or 4 “tables” but they were literally the size of a small tire lol.)We finally settled on Donna’s and I’m so glad we did!I ordered a burger and fries, my husband ordered a crab cake sandwich and sweet potato fries. We also ordered hush puppies as an appetizer. As a Maryland native I am happy to say that the crab cake was amazing. NO FILLER and good sized for the price. The burger was more than I expected it to be, I was honestly fearful it would be a premade patty (which always seem to taste more like grease than beef) and I was happy to find out that I was worried for nothing. The burger was bigger than the bun and, according to the menu description, a half pound in weight (before cooking) and beyond tasty with the perfect crunchy sear!! My meal was $14, the crab cake was $20, and the hush puppies were $5 (for 10). We both ordered beverages and, while I’m not one to typically gush over unsweetened iced tea (always my beverage of choice at restaurants) the iced tea was PHENOMENAL! It actually tasted like what fresh iced tea bags smell like when you open the box (instead of dirty tea water like you find in most restaurants). All in all, I am so glad we ended up at Donna’s on main and, at a reasonable $40 for our meal, we will definitely be returning to experience more of the menu in the near future.“
“A lifesaver in the Northern Neck area. My family and I were staying at an airbnb and the closest grocery store (Walmart) was almost 20 minutes away. A decent gas station/corner market with basic necessities and even fishing bait too. With the lack of restaurants around, we grabbed some hot meals for takeout (softshell crab and fish sandwiches, steamed shrimps, etc.) I would skip on their frozen pretzel with crab meat on top. I didn't see an official website but they are active on Facebook with their latest operating hours and crab specials. (“
“It was a new find for us newcomers to the NNK. We followed the signs and were thrilled to find such a wonderful place on the water. The owner shared his story with us and the wait staff was so helpful and kind. My fried oysters were delicious. The appetizer of Philly steak egg rolls was tasty and unique. I had fun checking out the gift store. We will return since they're open in the winter. And we can't wait to join friends there and arrive on our boat. What an unexpectedly wonderful evening. Oh and their cranberry margaritas were pretty good too!!!!“
“WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!My dad and I went today, Best seafood I have had in years! Everything was cooked perfectly. The fried oysters, crab legs, and steamed clams were excellent! Service was great as well.Every time I come. To visit my dad we will be going again.“
