“What a great experience. Was a tough find with the long dirt road but keep going you will get to a place worth visiting. Great positive atmosphere and really good food. Staff was a good help with directing and friendly. Very impressed and hope to coming back very soon.Parking: Park beside the fence and walk around to the water“
“I like to support the local businesses in Urbanna but I was tempted to leave a one star review. 3/5 of our dishes had many small hairs in them. Someone needs to stop trimming their pubes in my food. I don’t understand how there could be that much hair. It was at the point where there was more hair than food. I must have found around 5-10 hairs in my food. Wouldn’t recommend if you don’t want to cough up a hairball.“
“We really enjoy the Chesapeake Restaurant when we come down to stay at Tides Inn! A wonderful getaway from Alexandria VA! My wife got the fettuccini and I ordered the catch of the day, Rockfish. Delicious items and the service is awesome from CC and Meghan! Wonderful staff always at the Tides Inn! If you haven't been I highly recommend it!“
“This place was a great spot. It's a really cute restaurant with a beautiful outdoor seating area right by the water. The oyster soup was good, raw oysters were delicious. The scallops were huge and perfectly cooked. The waitress was friendly and efficient. Only a reason a star is down is because they couldn't give a side salad instead of chips on the side of the roll- seems like something they should be able to substitute. Also the fire pits were not working and it was a bit chilly.“
“My family enjoyed having lunch at the Fish Hawk Oyster Bar located down the steps next to the pool. Beautiful Waterview and seafood.we ordered baskets of fried oysters, fried shrimp, and calamari. Also had several dozen raw oysters. Afterwards, we sat on the lawn in big comfortable chairs under shade trees enjoying the breeze , and views of the water and marina!“
“Food was delicious. A little small portion-wise but delicious nonetheless. The service was fast and accurate. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxed. Their desserts are amazing. I was recommended the apple pie with vanilla ice cream and I would definitely recommend it to everyone else!“
