My family and I tried this gem today, and we were honestly blown away. I’m a restaurant industry veteran, and I can say with confidence: this is easily some of the best food in Urbanna.
I had the 'Mother Cluckin' chicken sandwich (incredible flavor!), my husband loved his BBQ, and the tenders were a hit with our daughter. Went out to dinner to Something Different in Urbanna
I just want to let the parents of the young lady who works in there named Lindsey know that their daughter is amazing. She knows her job very well there and she is a wonderful waitress. There was not a time that our drinks were empty and everything was on time ! Excellent service! Something Different Restaurant in beautiful Urbanna is a wonderful place with a welcoming atmosphere and great location. The food is delicious; highlights include the Southern Comfort (brisket and pimento cheese sandwich) with fries seasoned fries, the panko crusted crab cake sandwich, the 'Mother Cluckin' chicken sandwich, BBQ, brisket, pulled pork, and mac and cheese. Kids meals are available at $11 a piece with no drink included. The service is friendly and on point, though it can be a bit slow. The owners are incredible folks, and the restaurant is clean with nice decor. Cocktails are creative and tasty, and sides like hoecakes and collards are excellent. Very reasonable prices. This gem is easily some of the best food in Urbanna and is a great little place worth visiting again.
